My next book will be back to the non-magical world with a new series. When I thought of the idea late in 2020, the voices in my head were so insistent that I had to clear the rest of my planned writing schedule to tackle Baldwin’s Shore instead. The first three books are standalone stories with an overarching plot running through them as well, and the fourth book will follow on from both Baldwin’s Shore Book 3 and Blackwood Security Book 15 (Hallie’s Story). A fun-for-me-to-write crossover that involved a lot of jigsaw pieces!

Speaking of mutant plants, I’ve finally started to tackle my jungle of a garden. I’m no Albert, lol. Since I started publishing books, gardening fell by the wayside, and ivy took over. But after spending so much time at home over the past year, I got sick of the sight of it, so now the whole thing’s been razed to the ground and I’m starting again from scratch. A blank canvas. So far, I’ve built raised veggie beds and planted them with seeds. Which the dogs then dug up, so I guess we’ll be having potluck salad at some point this summer. Next job: regrouting the patio. My life is just one big adventure…
