“You wouldn’t believe me if I told you.”
“Right,” she said sarcastically. “What’s that?” She pointed at the gift he was carrying. Jacob looked around to make sure Kyle wasn’t within earshot before answering.
“I got him that new gaming console he’s been wanting. You know, the one that’s never available?” Jacob was grinning ear to ear, excited to see the look on his son’s face when he opened it.
“Oh good lord!” Trish said, walking toward the kitchen. “Now he’ll never get his homework done.”
About The Author
Rich Inman was born in September 1981 in Los Angeles, California. His young life was filled with moving from place to place, eventually ending up in Spokane, Washington. His parents became Christians in the early 1990’s, and since then he spent his life in church and cultivating a relationship with Jesus. During this time, reading was always a passion as Rich followed authors such as Michael Crichton and Steven King.
In August of 2000, Rich attended Marion Military Institute in Marion, Alabama. After graduating in 2002 as a Distinguished Military Graduate he spent several years in the Washington Army National Guard as an intelligence officer.
After getting married in 2003 and being blessed with a beautiful daughter in 2004, Rich re-introduced himself to reading again, which quickly led to a passion for writing. It took him many years to finish his first book while he spent time learning about the craft of writing. During that time Rich wrote several short stories, as well as articles for a local business magazine, and earned a degree in Business Administration.
