Daddy's Perfect Wife: A Billionaire Romance Page 9

by S. F. Bartholin

"Don't go, Daryl. Don't marry that girl with big, fake boobs, Daryl. I have real big boobs, Daryl!"

He laughed at me and looked over at Blake. "Is that ambulance almost here? I think that bullet hit an artery."

  "On its way, sir."

"Daryl, honey," I closed my eyes. "I'm tired. It's been a long day. Daryl? Tell me a story. A dirty one," I tried to laugh but it was weak.

The last thing I remember is sirens and Daryl holding my hand all the way to the hospital.

  Chapter 17

  Daryl

  What a ride!

The spring and summer came and went, and so did the November elections.

A lot has happened in that time.

First, Wendy is fine. She lost a lot of blood but the EMTs were able to stabilize her well before we got to the hospital. She was out of there the next day with a scar and the bullet fragments in a tiny little vial. She wears it around her neck and shows everyone that she can get to listen to her.

The camera crew, thankfully, caught the entire thing on tape. Everything they each said, and even my heroic dive, which was amazing, if I don't say so myself.

That clip dominated the news cycle for weeks, and then again just before the election. I won in a landslide, with all but one opponent dropping out of the race.

With that footage and the files that Wendy saved, the trial against Evelyn and Victor Lobos ended up putting them both in Federal prison. Evelyn was convicted of attempted murder with intent, conspiracy, bribery, money laundering, fraud... you name it, she was convicted of it. She got 20 years for what she did to me, and 50 years for the attempted murder. She's eligible for parole in 10 years. I don't think I'll ever see Evelyn Malieux again.

I didn't come out squeaky clean, though - a lot of people thought that I was in on the money laundering and fraud and business dropped at my hotels for a while. The public, thankfully, has short memories. Things are picking back up and I have a new staff to manage things in Vegas while I'm spending time in New Hampshire on my burgeoning political career.

Evelyn transferred a lot of my money to offshore shell companies - or a maze of offshore shell companies, to be specific. She knew what she was doing. I might never recoup that money, but it's just money, and I can make more of that.

Over the summer, I dedicated my life to something new... a wife. I asked Wendy to marry me. I told her that Evelyn was right all along - I needed the "Perfect Wife," and she said she's Daddy's Perfect Wife, without the quotes.

Evelyn, I know you're rotting in jail, but for being right on that one thing, thanks.

I realized something else. Well, Wendy helped me realize it. I shouldn't just try to help kids get on the path I'm on, I should help them get on their path. So I did just that.

I set up a charitable foundation for disadvantaged youths, and it helps kids from economically disadvantaged areas and it gives them a chance in life. A chance to do whatever it is that they set their hearts on.

Something I was sure to include, however, was counseling on following your heart, both in love and in life, and being true to yourself. Temper your ambition with compassion for others and compassion for yourself. Remember that tomorrow is a promise, but today is real. In fact, right now is all there is. Cherish it.

I've already had a few kids make it to the Naval Academy, and I couldn't be more proud.

  Chapter 18

  Wendy

Calvin must have been living in a dark hole, because he hadn't heard or seen any of the news stories about what happened that night at the hotel.

It took me three weeks to stop by the apartment to pick up the rest of my things. I knocked because I didn't feel like it was my place any more.

He was surprised to see me.

"Hey, babe, come in! Where've you been?"

  "I have a phone, Calvin."

"Oh, yeah. How long has it been? 3 days? 5?"

"You know what, Calvin, I wanted to talk to you. First, it's been three weeks." I let that sink in. The apartment stank of garbage. "Second - are you listening? Second, our 'trial separation' is officially permanent. So, whenever you go see your therapist, add that to the list."

"That's like, far out. You're blowing my mind, Wendy."

"Are you high, Cal?" I grabbed his chin and turned his face to mine, looked at his eyes. They were red and his pupils were dilated. Yup, high as fuck.

"What are you doing getting high in the middle of the day, Cal? You know what? I don't care. You're not my problem any more. I'll just get my stuff and go."

He sank into the couch and grabbed the Xbox controller and unpaused his game. "Yeah, you should probably take that stuff. I sold some of it to pay the rent."

  "You sold my stuff, Calvin?"

  He laughed to himself. "Yeah."

If ever I needed confirmation of a life choice, Calvin was it. What did I ever see in that guy?

I looked at the engagement ring from Daryl, smiled went around the apartment collecting things into boxes.

I thought Daryl was only joking when he said he could buy the entire trailer park where my mom lived. Okay, I knew he could, but I didn't know he would.

Sunnyview was now Dinero Estates, and my mom had free rent for the rest of her life.

Of all the things that anyone has done for her since dad died, that seemed to relieve the stress on her the most. She started to get dressed in the morning, she was drinking a lot less, and she went on a few dates with some guys from the park.

Okay, so it wasn't a ritzy life, but she was slowly taking her life back. Most of all, I was happy that she didn't have to rely on me, and I didn't have to worry about her.

Going through Bob's desk was a pain in the ass. He left everything. You'd think someone that lives the high life and makes as much money as the Dinero company pays wouldn't be such a slob.

  You'd be wrong.

My first order of business was to clean house. Several people were loyal to Evelyn and quit on their own. Some people thought the company was going to explode because of the criminal investigations, so they quit. We were down to a skeleton crew for quite a while.

I had a friend in Vegas, though, who used to do IT work with me back in New Hampshire, and it was nice to have a friend. Even better, it was nice to know she was solid.

And she was available for work.

The only problem is that the manager job I wanted to hire her for had already been promised to someone else by Evelyn, and we couldn't legally rescind that offer.

I didn't know this until after I'd offered the job to my friend, Sherri.

I wasn't sure how I was going to resolve this dilemma until I came up with a brilliant idea: hire both Sherri and Mack and tell them that they can stay if they pass probation, but I'm going to be evaluating them in their managerial abilities before making the final decision as to who would be the new manager.

I noticed that the two of them seemed to hit it off right away, but there was a tension between them for the job.

You'll have to read the next installment of Daryl Dinero to find out what happens!

  Chapter 19

  Wendy

It's been three years since the Worst Day Ever turned into the best thing that ever happened to me.

Our son was born last year. He's just starting to babble. We're waiting for his first word!

  "Is he down?"

  "Yeah, he's sleeping."

"Good, because I have something for you." He smiled at me and pulled off his bath robe.

He was wearing nothing but his old Navy officer's uniform... with the hat. I liked the hat. He could keep the hat on all the time if it were up to me.

I had a surprise in store for him - I got an authentic enlisted uniform for myself. It was a couple of sizes too small for me, very tight. Very tight.

I went to the closet and pulled it on, came out and put on the hat and licked my lips.

I pulled off his fabric belt and yanked his pants down. "You won't be needing these, sir."

  His cock
was hard and ready, standing at attention.

"Mm, at ease, sailor," I said and licked up the side of his shaft, cradled his balls, and gave a little squeeze.

He knocked my hat off and reminded me what he liked. "Look at me while you suck my cock, seaman."

"Ooh, you're naughty," I said and pushed him to the back of my throat. I looked up at him and he locked his eyes on mine. I pulled him out and kissed the tip.

He lifted me up, turned me around, and pulled me over his lap on the edge of the bed. I thought these tight white pants were going to tear at the seam but they held.

"No, you're naughty," he said and slapped my ass - hard. We'd never played this game before. I think I was on to something with this uniform. I think I just found something for our regular roleplaying rotation.

"Yeah, you need to teach me a lesson, Daddy sir," I said in a babydoll voice.

Smack! I felt the heat in my ass cheeks. Smack! A little bit of burn. Smack! I was horny as fuck now.

"Take this dirty pants off and spank me like a man."

He pulled my pants down around my knees. I wasn't wearing panties. "You're out of uniform, sailor." Smack! I drew in a sharp breath.

"It's laundry day, Daddy sir. Whatever was I supposed to do?"

  "No excuses."

  Smack! I squeezed his leg.

He pushed my pants all the way off and spread my legs. My pussy was shaved completely bare.

"You're out of uniform again, sailor - women aren't allowed to shave themselves bald."

He pushed a finger inside me, pulled it out and lubed my slit, settling on my clit.

"I told you I was naughty. Keep going with your uniform inspection, Daddy sir, and make sure you punish me for every violation. Or is that violate me?"

He lifted me up, kissed me with one hand on my pussy, then tossed me onto the bed.

Working his way up, he pushed my legs apart and darted his tongue in and out of me, then up to my clit, where he circled and sucked until I could feel the wetness running down to my ass and onto the bed.

"You might have to go to the brig," he said and slapped my labia, making me jump.

  "Have I been that naughty?"

He smiled at me, went to the night stand, and pulled out a pair of hand cuffs. My heart beat faster. This was new, too. I liked this game.

He turned me over and cuffed my hands to the headboard and lifted my hips until I was on my knees.

He spit on my ass and I felt a hot pressure there. He was pressing the tip of his cock against it, but it wasn't opening.

His cock moved down into my pussy and buried deep inside in one thrust. I was ready and waiting for it. I screamed out and remembered that the baby was sleeping, but couldn't cover my mouth because my hands were cuffed.

He pulled out and pressed against my ass again. "Relax," he said and pressed. The tip spread me open and I groaned into the pillow. He pulled out slowly, then pushed in again. He repeated, each time going in a little deeper. Finally, he was all the way into my ass. It hurt so good.

He began to thrust, the pre-cum lubricating his cock in my ass. He pulled out a vibrator and clicked it on, the buzz stifled once he reached around and pushed it against my clit.

I'd never had an orgasm like that before. In about ten seconds, I had this weird feeling start in my clit but also down around my labia and into the fullness of him fucking me. It was an intense but short orgasm, and I didn't bother trying to hide the noises I made when I came.

Daryl dropped the vibrator and slapped my ass again. Mm, it was amazing. He went faster and slapped me harder. Faster, harder, until he pushed hard against me and I felt his cum fill up my tight ass, he pushed my head down and squeezed my ass cheek so hard I think he left five little bruises.

He pulled out and unlocked the cuffs, laid next to me, held me, and traced the scar on my arm.

  The baby started crying.

"What do you want him to call you? Papa? Dada?"

"Nope. I want him to call me Daddy."

  AUTHOR’S NOTES

I had the idea for this story several years ago, and I started to write it but the stakes weren’t high enough. I pulled it out, brushed the dust off, and added in very high stakes - a billionaire that could lose everything, even his life! And a reason for the heroine to almost die.

I threw in a “save the cat” moment. I hope you caught that near the beginning. It’s when we see the softer side of our bad-ass hero early on and know he’s also got a heart of gold.
