I pumped faster, sucked harder, and it wasn't long before he grunted again and pulled painfully on my hair. I released my hold on his cock, and my hands went down to cup his balls so I could roll them gently with my fingers while I took all of his cock back into my mouth. I gagged when it hit the back of my throat but managed to swallow, and that’s when he came. My eyes watered as I swallowed the salty liquid he'd shot down my throat. Once, twice, it took me three times to get it all down.
When he was done he pulled on my hair, dragging my head back and, indecently, me off of him. I released his balls as I shook my head and sat back. As soon as I shook my head he released his grip on my hair and let me go. My scalp stung in places from him pulling on my hair, but I didn't
mind in the least bit.
He liked it a little bit rough and I was more than okay with that.
I reached up and wiped at my mouth with the back of my hand. His eyes trailed after my hand, and he grimaced.
"I'm so sorry," he whispered, sounding horrified and both my eyebrows shot up in surprise.
"You just came hard," I taunted him. "What the hell do you have to be sorry for?"
Red hit his cheeks in an embarrassed flush, and I had to bite down on my bottom lip to keep from grinning at him. He was fucking adorable.
"I pulled hard on your hair," he mumbled as his hands clenched into fists, and his eyes dropped down to the floor. "Then I came in like two seconds, and I didn't give you fair warning so you wouldn't have to swallow it. I was an asshole, and I'm so fucking sorry, Stephan. You
have to believe me when I say I'm sorry."
I believed him. I just didn't like that he was apologizing to me in the first place, not when he had no reason to do so.
His cheeks got even redder when he yawned loudly. He lifted a hand and covered his mouth in further embarrassment.
"First," I bit off angrily, and his eyes jumped up from the floor to my face. "You don't ever have to apologize for coming. I heard it in your voice and knew you were close. I could have stopped at any time but didn't because I didn't want to. I've never swallowed before with anyone else, and I wanted you to be the first for that with me. I knew what I was doing, Hash, so don't apologize for that. Second, go ahead and pull on my hair as hard as you want to, I don't give a fuck. If I don't like something that you're doing to me, I will tell you, I promise. And, I'd hope like hell you would do the same for me. If you're uncomfortable or just don't like something we are doing, then I suggest you speak up so we can stop doing whatever it is.I'm not shy, and I'm learning neither are you. We should be fine just so long as we are open with each other."
"Right," he muttered. "I can do that."
I knew he could, and it made me incredibly happy.
"Think about how much fun this will be when we have a girl to play with too," I said as I grinned at him.
He sighed dramatically. "Already I'm not enough for you. Figures."
He was more than enough for me at the moment. But I didn't do monogamy and neither did he. Neither of us wanted that kind of life, and we both knew it wouldn't be long until we were chasing after some skirt again. But I hoped like hell we always ended up coming back to each other in the end. He belonged with me, and I belonged with him.
I sat forward quickly and grabbed ahold of his ass. I stood up and picked him up off of his feet with me.
He grunted but didn't fight me. His hands went to my shoulders, and he held on as I spun around and put my knee into the bed. I sat him down on his ass with my knee between his spread-out thighs and leaned around him. I grabbed ahold of the comforter I had on my bed and dragged it down the bed. Once it was down far enough I went back to him, slid my hands under his thighs and lifted him up again.
"You go right ahead and manhandle me," he said in an amused but tired voice. "I don't even mind. In fact, I kind of like it."
I chuckled softly as I laid him down and covered him up with the blanket.
"Are you tired?" I asked as I looked down at him. He'd already closed his eyes and turned onto his side with his back to me and the blanket clutched to his chest.
"So tired," he said in a sleepy voice.
I looked down at the tent in my pants caused by my straining erection and, surprisingly, I couldn't find it in me to be pissed.
Hash was naked and in my bed. And I planned on keeping him there for as long as I could.
Unfortunately, it was nowhere near long enough.
It was also unfortunate that I couldn’t crawl into the bed with him just yet. Not until I put my shirt and boots back on so I could go to the front gate and describe the crazy spaghetti noodle chick from the haunted house to them.
I did just that, and I made sure that bitch was never even allowed through the front gate, not once.
Hash didn’t seem to care. In fact, by the time he’d woken up in the morning, he’d forgotten all about her because he’d moved on to the next thing. And that thing was me.
I made a vow to myself though, before going to bed, that next year we weren’t leaving the fucking Compound on Halloween because it really was a time when all the crazies came out.
The End.

CHAPTER ONE
Loud music pumps in my ears and vibrates down through my chest. My lip raises in a sneer as I look down upon the humans on the dance floor. In everyone’s minds, vampires considered parasites, but I beg to differ, particularly the longer I’m subjected to the presence of humans. Even if I hadn’t lived longer than anyone I’d kno
wn in my human life, one lifetime is enough to see them for what they are.
It’s hard to believe that just a few short months ago, I found this amusing and worthy of my time.
“I hate this shit,” I spit out, feeling Brandon at my back. His fingers smooth out over my bare neck as he lends me some of his strength and soothes the tension held there. Leaning back into him, I revel in the feel of his arms going around me. I’ve been forced to become a heartless bitch in this world in order to just survive. Despite everything, I would only change one thing, and that’s not killing the other lady, Alyssa, the second she stepped foot into my house. It was because of her that Brandon got staked a few months ago and almost died. It’s a bit ironic, staking a vampire and him almost dying, despite the fact its not supposed to kill us. Though, it was no laughing matter when she also tried to kill off half the male vampires on the East Coast just to help the Resistance kill the three of us ladies that were together at the time. Needless to say, when I get my hands on that pathetic traitor I will kill her. Slowly and painfully.
As if he knows exactly where my thoughts traveled, Brandon’s arms tighten around me, “We’re still searching for her, love.”
“Don’t think she’s going to get away with slighting you, my lady,” Mikael says, coming to stand to our left. “She’ll be found and eradicated. Along with any of her coven members that are left.”
With two of my mates standing with me, my foul mood improving to only slightly annoyed. My eyes search out the other that completes us. Victor stands guard down by the entry door and as if he can feel the heat of my stare, he glances up and winks before returning to his stoic façade for sentry duty.
We’ve always had to take great care to not only make sure that we don’t give ourselves away to the humans, but to also stay off the Resistance’s radar. This has just gotten ridiculous, though, and it pisses me off. When added to the fact Mel and Amberly are off saving people from the bigoted gang of moron humans and I’m stuck here pretending that nothing is wrong, I wish Alyssa or a member of the Resistance were dumb enough to walk through that door tonight.
Brandon’s mouth moves close and whispers against my ear, “Want to head home for the night? Shane and Taylor can close up.”
His voice sends goosebumps down my arms and I feel his smile grow against my neck.
As much as I would love to take my mates back to the house, I have a job just like the rest of them do. I’m to maintain our presence here and keep all eyes turned my way. Hopefully it will be enough of a distraction for Mel and her crew of misfits to get in and accomplish what they need to do. If I wasn’t such a bitch, I might feel sorry for her. She’s new to this world and is taking everything like a champ. All while stuck with not only Killian, but Ryker as well. Yeah, I don’t envy that shit at all. I made sure to tell Ryker not to let the door hit him in the ass on the way out, because he seriously outstayed his welcome here. If Mel hadn’t been his mate, I’m pretty sure he would’ve stayed just to irritate the piss out of me.
Of course, my brain is going off on a random bender that’s become the norm of late. I’m more frustrated than usual ever since the shit with Alyssa and the Resistance happened. A ton of pent up anger festers, waiting for an appropriate outlet.
Brandon stood in silence, not interrupting my sporadic thoughts, but still waiting on an answer.
I shake my head, “No. We’ll stay for another hour or two and then let the humans close tonight. The coven stays together.”
Mikael snorts beside, me and I narrow my eyes at him. Even when he’s trying to push my buttons, I can’t help but notice how good he looks in the dim lighting of the club. His dark red hair stands out against pale, extremely freckled skin. Muscles strain against the thin white shirt across his chest, but it’s his eyes that ensnare me. Normally a golden ocher color, they look almost like they’re on fire in this light. Underneath just a scruff of facial hair that’s a perfect match to the hair atop his head, his perfect lips tip up in a smile.
“You act like we aren’t grown men, pet. Like some of us haven’t been around just as long as you or longer,” he says through that impish smile.
“Be that as it may, pet. I say we’re not leaving anyone here unless it’s absolutely necessary,” I say with saccharine dripping from my voice.
His movement is quick. One second he’s standing off to the side and the next he’s in front of me, crowding in and pressing my back into Brandon, “My lady, we’re more than capable of taking care of both ourselves and you.”
Our entire coven, not just my mates, has been more testosterone driven since the Resistance managed to capture them. It didn’t help that Ryker took me, Amberly and Mel right into the lion’s den to get them all back. Nothing pierces pride for a mate more than feeling like he failed. Which is one of the main reasons I purse my lips instead of arguing and trying to goad him further.
I watch as the haughty anger fades from his face, replaced with a raw hunger that remains unseen by any spying eyes. Brandon growls in my ear, no doubt feeling the shift in our moods.
“Maybe we should call it a night after all,” I tell them with a cocky grin.
CHAPTER TWO
The next morning, sitting at my little breakfast nook I’m rewarded with the glorious sight of one of my mates fresh from a shower. Mikael and Victor have already gone downstairs, leaving Brandon and I alone. I sip my coffee and watch the little droplets of water fall from his dark hair onto a bare, tanned chest. Out of the three of them, he’s the only one without tattoos. Though, that doesn’t make him any less sexy, particularly when he stands in front of me half naked the way that he does at the moment. Tall with lean muscles and a strong freshly shaved jawline make him look like he just stepped off a runway.
His dark blue eyes turn stormy as he notices my obvious interest. Crossing my legs causes my black silk robe to shift, creating a slit that runs all the way up to my hip. A tingle starts at the very tip of my toes and works its way up to my bare hip as his eyes drink in all I’ve left bare for him.
Stalking over, he drops straight to his knees in front of me with the towel still wrapped around his hips. I let him take my leg into his hands and get rewarded with soft kisses everywhere his lips can reach. As I pull my other knee to the side, I give him the perfect view of what I’m wearing underneath the robe. Nothing.
In a similar move to last night, a voracious growl tears from Brandon’s throat, and it sends electricity humming beneath my skin. He jerks himself up to hover over my body as he crushes our lips together. We fed off each other last night, but there’s no such thing as enough when it comes to my mates. I’ll always want what they’re willing to give. As if he’s reading my mind once again, Brandon breaks the kiss and leans his head to the side, giving me perfect access to his neck. The first drop of blood that hits my tongue after my fangs pierce his skin is near orgasmic. He moans and rubs against me like a cat.
A throat clears from over by the door, and I pull away from Brandon with a snarl at the intrusion. I feel blood trickle down the side of my mouth. Mikael’s nose flares as he breathes in the scent of us and his eyes narrow at my reprimand. Brandon uses the moment to pull my chin back to face him. After kissing me soundly, he picks up his lost towel from the floor and saunters bare assed over to the closet to pull some clothes on.
Mikael finally moves from where he’s still posted in the doorway. Teasing him, I don’t bother to close my robe where it has fallen open, exposing pretty much my entire body to him. When he’s close enough, he leans down to lick Brandon’s blood that escaped from the side of my mouth. In an obvious bid to pay me back, he steps away without even a kiss just as Victor and Shane step into the room.
I shift the material of my robe until I’ve hidden enough to not cause a distraction. I’ve got about as much care as Brandon just displayed about nudity. They’ve all seen it before anyways, and I know that my body is pristine. Victor’s hair is pulled back with a tie at the back of his head, the color accenting his brown ey
es and slightly larger than normal nose with a piercing in one side. His tattoos flow out from under a fitted slate grey tee, making him look every bit the roguish Italian that he is. Shane stands behind him with close cropped blond hair and deep tan, looking Abercrombie worthy. No one could ever say that I suffer an ugly coven. Every one of my men, even those who I don’t claim as mates, epitomize pure male beauty.
Victor takes a seat across from me at the small table, “Just to be clear, you still want us to move forward with the Halloween party, correct?”
I glance from him to Shane, “Of course we are. Why wouldn’t we? It’s something we hold every year, and if we didn’t, someone would notice. We’re supposed to keep ourselves in the spotlight right now.”
He nods, “Yes, my lady. We just wanted to make sure, because all two-hundred and fifty invitations were responded with a yes for their RSVP.”
It’s only from centuries of well-honed control and practice maintaining my composure that I don’t spray the sip of coffee that I’ve just taken all over the floor. I swallow it down, “All of them?”
Shane answers, “All. That means a lot of bodies. A lot of potential danger. We thought about calling in another coven for assistance with security.”
I may have earned the bitch title, but I will never put my coven beneath me, making them think their opinions aren’t valued. His words anger me to the point I see red, “You mean to tell me that with a coven as big as ours, and with as many strong males we have, we aren’t capable of keeping the lid on this place?”
By the time that I finish, I’m standing with my hands propped on the table, leaning over to snarl right in Victor’s face. Neither look surprised or angry. They let me continue, “What part of the Alyssa shit did you miss? We’ve known her for forever. Granted she’s always been a down right slut straight from the depths of hell, but I would never guess she’d betray her own kind. We. Cannot. Trust. Other. Covens. Understood?”
