"Say it again." Sage smiled.
"What? That I'm scared?"
"No. That you love me."
"I love you. I've loved you almost from day one."
Gary saw Sage's smile for a second before he felt his lips against his own again. He wrapped his arms around Sage and pulled him closer. It would take time to get used to what Sage was, but he would. Anything was better than the pain of being apart.
As Sage deepened the kiss, Gary let all his doubt and fears go. He didn't know where this relationship was going to go, but he wasn't about to miss the ride and the chance to find out.
