She was so lost in a mass of emotions and feelings. Every nerve ending tingled as Jacques assaulted her upper body and Flynn began working his way down her torso. When he slipped out of her hand, she knew where he was headed.

Again, there was a choir singing in her head as he lounged between her legs. When he lapped at her, again she moaned. Her claws dug into the bedding as he showed her exactly what was in his bag of tricks.

Why she expected humans to be less then stellar at sex, she didn't know. Now, he was schooling her. Her Flynn was very good at pleasing a woman.

Maybe good wasn’t the right word…

“Oh, God,” she whispered, as he swirled his tongue in intricate patterns and probed with his fingers. When Flynn located that perfect spot, Jolie couldn’t stop herself from shaking at his touch.

Instead of offering respite, he continued to apply pressure as he feasted. Everything in him demanded that he take all she was offering. Flynn had never wanted anyone like this in all his life. It was as if she was becoming his addiction with every single taste.

  Need consumed him alive.

Jolie was so close to falling again. Then, to further tear down her control, Jacques bit into her pulse.

It was too much for her to handle.

With each lap from Flynn, and suck from Jacques, she exploded in a bright array of colors. Never before had she been orally assaulted by two very sexy men.

As she shattered apart, neither man allowed respite. Somehow, Jolie believed that each pull and stroke were perfectly timed. This was a well-orchestrated sexual ballet, and she was overwhelmed.

Jolie’s body bowed as her orgasm slammed into her with such a force, that the men could feel waves of energy pulse off her writhing body.

Brogan lapped his way up her torso, kissing a trail to her belly and breasts. He waited, until she focused again once more meeting his need filled gaze. “You were delicious,” he grinned wickedly.

Jacques laughed at what was coming. If there was one thing he had learned, after hundreds of years of being in her bed, it was not to be too smug. Jolie had a nasty habit of being competitive, and she would school you if she caught you smirking.

Unfortunately for him, Flynn was like a sixteen year old on the night he got lucky with his first date.

This was going to be fun to watch.

Jolie was now back in control, and she was ready to show the men what lived in her for them. They had their opportunity to share pleasure, now it was her turn. “It’s time for me to play, my loves,” Jolie purred, pushing Flynn to his back so she could straddle his body. As she sunk down, sheathing him, he was caught off guard as every sensation overwhelmed him.

Never had he felt anything so perfect.

After months of wondering what it would feel like, it was finally happening. Jolie and he were consummating their union.

“Oh hell,” he muttered, fighting to stay in control of his body. He couldn’t let it end like this. If he wanted this to continue, he needed to focus. The feeling of finally being buried in Jolie was almost too much to handle, but he fought hard.

Jacques came to her side and waited for her to settle herself with Brogan. This was about welcoming him officially to their bed, and Jolie was showing him all the care deserving of a new lover. Tonight, he’d be the center of her attention, christening their union.

“I want you, Flynn,” she murmured, as his hands went to her hips to hold on.

“Oh God, Jolie, baby,” he whispered, as she slid up his erection, and then slammed her body down. It stole his breath and the ability to think at the same time. When he finally had the nerve to open his eyes, he could see Jacques waiting patiently. Where he thought it would disturb him, to be consummating their relationship together, it only made it that more erotic.

“Come to me, mon amour,” Jolie beckoned, as she reached for Jacques’s erection. When she lapped at it before sliding him into her warm mouth, her eyes flickered up to his. So far, both men were fully focused on the pleasure. Never before did she believe this sexy threesome would make her this hot and bothered.

  This made her wilder.

When his hands went into her hair to hold her in place, she relinquished the control. Jolie continued the delectable torture she was inflicting on his body, enjoying his response.

“Jolie,” Jacques hissed her name at the same time Brogan moaned hers.

Heat pooled as need clawed its way to the surface.

She continued the wild ride up and down Brogan’s erection, all the time she worked on consuming Jacques. She could feel both men pounding into her body.

  It was erotic.

  It was primitive.

  It was perfect.

And she couldn’t be a happier vampyre.

The inevitable was happening. The predator, buried oh so deep in her, began breaking free. Jolie increased the speed and pressure as both men responded in their own way.

Brogan began pulling her down harder, grinding himself into her body as he bucked frantically beneath her. His breathing was erratic as he fought for control.

  He was losing the battle.

Jacques began thrusting deeper into her mouth, the beast in him poised to break free. The scrape of fangs on delicate flesh was incredibly erotic, making him insane with lust. It was that fine line between pleasure and pain, and he was lost in it.

Jolie could feel everything tightening and knew she was breaking apart from the dual assault on her body. When Jacques teased her one nipple with eager fingers, and Brogan reached down to flick his thumb over her sensitive bundle of nerves, the entire world exploded.

Jacques growled her name, erupting hotly into her mouth.

Her human mate thrust one final time, deep into her body, as he exploded with months of pent up sexual frustration.

Her body eagerly swallowed both men’s energy and for a few minutes, euphoria followed. When Jolie could no longer remain upright on Flynn’s body, she slowly slid to the bed, using Jacques’s prone form as her resting place. As his arms protectively cradled her to him, Jolie didn't want Flynn to be left out.

Reaching out, Jolie tugged her detective along for the ride. Now, she wanted them all to stay physically connected until their bodies cooled from the rigorous sex.

Brogan laid his head on her chest, snuggling into her body in the afterglow. It didn't matter that they were all tangled together in a mass of limbs and hair.

Jacques nuzzled her neck, kissing along her shoulder. In all honesty, he was happier than he thought he would ever be. There wasn’t an ounce of jealousy to be found, and certainly no animosity toward the human in their bed.

One of Jolie’s hands ran up and down Jacques’s leg, tracing intricate patterns while the other ran through Brogan’s hair holding him to her breast.

The tickle in her head meant only one thing, and Jolie opened for them.

“Wow, that was amazing.” Brogan heard their laughter.

“Oui, I’m at a loss for words,” replied Jacques, agreeing with their detective.

“That will teach you to hold me down and tickle me,” Jolie whispered into their minds.

“Yeah, okay. Fantastic sex won’t act as a deterrent.”

Jolie suddenly got serious. “Are you both… well?” It was her hope that this would move her family forward, not hold it back. Now that she had experienced this miraculous coupling, the last thing she wanted was for it to end.

She was equally in love with both men.

  “Oui.”

  “Yeah, I’m good.”

“So, there are no regrets?” she asked them both, as she enjoyed the feeling of their cooling bodies wrapped around hers.

“None from me,” answered Brogan. “Jacques?”

“How could I regret such a monumental moment?”

When Flynn relaxed, Jolie sent a thank you to her mate. She was well aware that Jacques had orchestrated the entire scene for the sake of the detective. They both knew that Flynn would struggle to make the first move on Jolie
. By offering him a fun little romp, he certainly would join in.

Jacques had given the ultimate gift to both of them, and Jolie couldn’t love him more.

“I owe you,” she whispered into his mind only.

“No, you don’t. This was for the sake of our family. I would do anything for you both.”

Apparently, she had two very good men and had chosen wisely.

Jolie’s heart swelled as she mulled over the idea of finally being whole. Her family was complete, and everything was perfect.

Eternity was going to be entertaining.

  She couldn’t wait…

  ∞ Chapter Eight ∞

  Thursday Night

  The French Quarter

Jolie breathed in the air of the French Quarter and was oddly relaxed by the scents. It was as if her entire being recognized this area as home. Maybe it was the French Creole, which some of the people around them were speaking, or the scattering of bakeries that made her think of home.

Squeezing Jacques’s arm a little tighter, Jolie knew that he was reminiscing too. All of the sights and sounds reminded them of a time when they would stroll down the streets of Paris, breathing in the scent coffee and baked goods.

Oddly, this was like coming home.

  Fate was funny like that.

Here, she never thought to move to the vampyre mecca of the world, but now that she was here, it was cathartic.

Her heart fluttered when Jacques leaned down to brush a kiss to her forehead. As he whispered endearments in French, she knew he was feeling the same thing she was.

“This reminds you of home?” asked Brogan, feeling their emotions overwhelming him. He ran his hand over Jolie's fingers, which were lovingly sitting on his arm.

“Yes, it does. The smells and some of the sights remind me of Paris. When we would walk the streets, the houses there had the same wrought iron fences, and very similar colors.”

Jacques agreed. “Oui, the baking bread is what does it for me. It makes me want to sit under a colorful awning and have wine with you both.”

It touched Flynn that he was being included.

Jolie grinned. “I believe coming here was a good thing,” she offered, then glanced over at Brogan. “Have you never been to Paris, Flynn?”

“No. I honestly never had the desire to, but now I suddenly feel like I need to see it.” He looked over Jolie’s head at Jacques. “I feel very emotional. Am I feeling what’s living in you both?”

They both answered at the same time. “Yes.”

“It feels nice.” Brogan continued walking, but then suddenly stopped. “Will you tell me about everything one day?” he asked, needing to know more about them.

“You want to know everything about us?”

“Yeah, I bet you have had some exciting moments.”

She giggled as Jacques covered his laugh with a cough. “You could say that,” he replied.

Jolie stared up into his icy blue eyes. “I want to share it with you, and to make it even better, how about we go there. I would love to go back and show you everything, Flynn. After telling you all of our exploits, we’ll take a trip to our homeland.” She released his arm to lovingly stroke his cheek. “Will you please join us?”

His heart skipped at her touch.

What wouldn’t he give her if she asked? “I would love to go there with you both, but then I want to head to where my family is from too.” He kissed the palm of her hand and could feel Jacques watching him.

When he glanced up, there was affection and welcome in his eyes. It gave Flynn so much peace to belong.

“I would love to see Ireland,” she offered, glancing over at Jacques. “May we?”

He laughed like he had a snowball’s chance at stopping her. “Mon amour, for you I would offer my life. Ireland and Paris will be fun. You know I love shopping with you. Now, you have two pack mules to carry all your purchases.”

Jolie slapped him. “I’m not that bad.”

Now, he rolled his eyes. “You’re right. In fact, you’re far worse.”

Brogan grinned at their interplay. “I’ll carry anything you want.” Where he had locked love away for so long, it was now free to flourish.

  It felt damn good.

“My hero,” she said, sticking her tongue out at Jacques. When he slapped her on the ass, she yelped.

  Both men laughed.

“Tread lightly, Jacques,” she warned, teasingly.

They continued on a few more blocks, taking in the bustle of the French Quarter. Once they turned down a side street, Jolie came to a stop in front of a shop.

“Here we are,” she said, pointing.

Both men looked warily at the sign. It was obvious to both of them what kind of darkness was traded and sold there. It was the last place they wanted to venture, especially with their mate.

  Jolie reassuringly squeezed their arms.

It wasn’t like she wanted to go in there. Just the snakes coiling across the sign creeped her out, but they had to find out what was going on in New Orleans.

“I don’t like this,” Brogan said, scanning the area. The hair on his neck was standing up.

  Something was off.

“Let’s get this over with,” Jolie suggested. She too had that unsettled feeling.

Opening the door, the three of them stepped into the interesting Voodoo shop, unsure of the things waiting for them. Jolie wasn’t picking up any vampyres, but she was still uncomfortable with the surroundings.

“Greetings,” called a woman behind the counter.

They watched her warily as she approached. She was of African American decent and in her late sixties. The bright colorful clothing spoke of her culture and beliefs. The long dreads swayed as she approached.

Suddenly, the welcoming smile became an angry glare.

“Leave my shop,” she angrily snapped, as she reached in her pocket for a pouch.

As she tossed the contents toward them, both Jolie and Jacques hissed, stepping back.

Flynn could smell the herbs, his heightened senses picking up their pungent scent. Immediately, he stepped in front of his mates to protect them.

A snake slithered from beneath the woman’s hair, crossing her shoulders. Its tongue flickered angrily at the visitors to the shop.

“The dead are not welcome here!” she said, tossing more herbs.

Again, Jolie and Jacques backed up. They didn't actually hurt, but the smell overwhelmed their olfactory nerves, causing confusion.

It actually hurt to breathe in.

“Knock it off,” Brogan ordered, pulling his badge from his pocket. He held it out for the woman to see. Whatever she was tossing around was disturbing Jolie and Jacques. He didn't want to get any of it on him.

“You’re the police?” she asked, her deep brown eyes never leaving the two undead behind the man.

“Yes, I am, and I need your help.”

“Boy, you need more help than I can offer if you have tied yourself to these creatures,” she warned, pointing at Jacques and Jolie. When her hand came up to throw more herbs, he stopped her by grabbing her wrist.

“I said, knock it off,” he hissed menacingly.

When the bag was shaken from her hand, he kicked it as far from them as possible. Only when she was disarmed, did he set her free. Once more, he stood protectively in front of Jolie and Jacques.

“They’re the dead. They will steal your soul, boy.”

He glanced over his shoulder at the two vampyres. From the look on their faces, he could tell the herbs were causing so much pain. Immediately, he moved back more, pushing them towards the door.

“They can’t steal what I gave freely,” he replied, eyeing up the snake. It was huge and watching him like he was a snack.

That had her attention. “You willingly gave them your soul? I find that hard to believe, since their kind takes what they aren’t born with.”

“They didn't take anything,” he replied. His eyes were locked onto the snake as it slid down
the woman’s body and toward Jolie’s boot. He felt her fear, and it alarmed him.

Jolie was rarely one to be afraid.

“Why?” she asked, watching her pet curiously inspect the female vampyre.

“I did it for love. They’re my family, and they’d never hurt anyone. You’ve misjudge them and the situation. Please, we need your help, and by your reaction to them, I’m guessing they’re not the first vampyres in here.”

She spat on the floor. “Vampyres are the scourge of this city now. They creep among us, preying on the weak.”

Flynn felt Jolie’s arms go around his torso as she buried her face in his shoulder blade. His hand went to hers on his chest as he tried to offer reassurance. “They aren’t like the ones you’ve encountered.”

The woman took in the sight before her. “You’re right. I did have visitors. They came to ask about stealing souls.” She watched Jolie curiously as the snake began curling itself up her leg. The snake obviously wanted to get closer to taste the woman.

Jacques could feel Jolie’s panic, since he was aware of her fear of snakes. Slipping into her mind, he began soothing her as she clung to their mate.

Brogan had enough. When he reached for the snake that was halfway up her boot, the women objected.

“No! Leroy, won’t harm her,” said the woman. “If you want me help you, then you will allow him continue his exploration. Animals are a very good judge of character, and he will decide if I assist you or force you out.”

Jacques looked at the woman. “No, I will not allow...”

Jolie cut him off. “It’s fine, my loves.” Outside, her voice was calm and aloof, but in their minds, Jolie was screaming for help.

Flynn caressed her hand as the snake continued his climb.

  “Darling, please question her quickly.”

They knew her well enough to know that wasn’t her calm voice. Both men remained in her mind, offering Jolie strength.

“Tell me about the vampyres who came here. What did they want?” asked Brogan, trying to concentrate, but it wasn’t easy with Jolie screaming in his head.

“There were three of them. Two of the vampyres were men and rather large, but they also traveled with a smaller woman. At first, they entered and looked around. I believed them to be customers. Then as I approached them, I could feel death with them. It coats their corpses,” she said, pointing at the two vampyres. “They reek of decay.”
