Conflict Of Interest Page 2

by Gisell DeJesus

I place my hand on my hot pussy, caressing every part of it. My lower lips feel soft, my inside is so wet and my clit stiffens when my fingers touch. I pause to rub light circles, causing me to moan. I can picture him rubbing it a little faster and faster for me. The thought of this puts my lower back into an arch.

As I’m rubbing with my right hand, my left is rubbing my left breast. I wonder how it would feel to have his mouth and tongue sucking my nipples. Moaning, licking and biting my lower lip, I feel this intense orgasm building and coming closer to the edge. I feel so good. Having him in my thoughts is taking over my body. I start moving my hips to the rhythm of the pace of my fingers. I almost can’t keep my moans low. I feel the waves of a strong and powerful orgasm coming on. I want to yell. I am cuming, and it is like a volcano exploding. I feel my warm juices flowing out of my sex. Ahhh mmmm… and all this with him on my mind.

I roll over, catching my breath and feeling my eyes getting heavy from the release I just had. It’s not as good as what Evan probably has in his pants, but it will do for the time being. I finally succumb to sleep.

I’m woken up to my phone ringing with an incoming text message. I’m not ready to wake up yet. I barely open my eyes and start to search for my phone. I find it on the nightstand, grab it, and look at the clock on my nightstand to see it is almost nine in the morning. It’s a text from Evan. I can’t lie, it makes my heart beat faster, and a smile escapes my lips.

Evan: Good Morning. Hope you slept well. I apologize for last night. Cancel your plans for today; you are joining me to dinner. I already made the reservations for seven. Text me your address, I will pick you up and I can’t wait to see you!

I’m mad. He has nerves if he thinks he owns me. He has a girlfriend and not to mention he is being completely demanding. Who the hell does he thinks he is?

Nat: Controlling much? What if I am not interested? Don’t text back! I replied to his text.

  His reply quickly follows.

Evan: You can't ask me two questions and demand me not to text back. It is not often that I find a woman that intrigues me so much. I’m interested to get to know you, and I know you want to know about me. So what’s the address?

Nat: Confident are we? I furiously reply.

Evan: The address, please? I won’t ask nicely again. We can discuss your questions in person.

I am not sure if I should respond or just block him from contacting me. I have to think this through. I mean what do I have to lose? A broken heart? Tears? The thought of never having him? There’s only one way to find out.

Damn it. My body and mind are going against me. Fine, I will meet him. I want to see what this shit is all about anyway. I then text him back my address.

I get up out of the bed to go into the kitchen for some much need caffeine. As I am preparing my coffee, extra strong, the doorbell rings. My friend Alyssa text me few moments ago that she was on her way.

I yell, “It’s open. Come on in.”

Alyssa comes barreling in; looking refreshed and has a glow about her. I expected her to look like a hot mess from a wild night she might have had with the guy she met last night.

“Wait till I tell you about Alex.” She was grinning ear to ear and from her expression, I knew she got laid.

We poured our cups of coffee and we stretched out on the couch across from each other. Alyssa has her feet resting on my ottoman located in the middle of the sofas.

“Okay, spill the beans, I am all ears,” I say to Alyssa while I am sipping on hot coffee.

She starts telling me about her amazing night with Alex. They stopped at a little gas station on the way home, Alex’s suggestion, he grabbed some ice cream, and they shared it in the cab while on their way to her apartment. They talked all night and connected like she never has with anyone else before.

“And guess what, Nat?” I open my eyes wider without saying anything and she says, “We DID NOT have sex.”

“Wow! Well, maybe this is the one,” I tell her with assurance. I know how badly she wants to find this perfect man.

“I really like him so I am going to let what happens, happen. Now, enough about me, girl! It’s your turn. Tell me all about this mystery man? Did you guys get drunk? Did you bring him here? Did you fuck him?”

My eyebrows frown. “Well, we didn't have a chance to get drunk because his girlfriend interrupted us.”

Alyssa’s face is in disbelief. “What the hell?”

Sighing, I add, “I don’t know if it’s his girlfriend or not, but she looked pissed. She pulled him to the side and they talked for a minute, then he came back to me hailing a cab and sent me home.”

“I just don’t know what it is, but I can’t stop thinking about him. He texted me this morning and demanded a date for tonight.” I sip more of my coffee.

“You need to ask him who she is.”

“I know and I will tonight.”

  “Tonight?”

“Yes, he asked to go to dinner tonight.”

“Well, if that’s what he wants, we need to get our asses to the mall and make you look fabulous for him.”

“Oh, Alyssa, I don’t know if I want to go through with it,” I said while covering my face with my palms of my hands.

“You are going, so get off your ass and let’s go,” Alyssa demands.

I laugh at her, but it doesn’t seem like a bad idea after all. I stand up and twirl around. I am going to make his dick hard as soon he puts his eyes on me.

  Evan’s POV

  Chapter 3

Why did she even try to argue with me about going to dinner? She will learn quickly that I always get what I want. I knew she would be mine from the moment I saw her last night.

Driving to her apartment, I can’t help but to be a little bit tired. I could barely sleep from the moment I got into bed last night. Her image has been in my mind since this morning, even before my eyelids opened.

Natalia! I whispered in my mind her name a couple of times. I love the sound of her name and how my cock throbs after I say it. I pull up at her place and the tiredness I had on the way over here is suddenly gone. I make sure I place my gun in my compartment in the meantime until the date is over. I do not want her nervous if she sees it.

I walk to her building and I climb up the stairs to her door. I knock loudly.

She answers the door quickly. She is standing right in front of me and I am instantly turned on. I eye her up and down, noticing how fucking sexy she looks in a silky little number that is hanging over her right shoulder. She looks elegant in that black dress. Her legs bared from her thighs to her ankles. Showing off her glowing skin. It hugs all her curves in just the right places. Her hair is down just like that day I met her. Her lips are bold red and her face flawless. Can this woman be any more perfect? I ask myself over and over.

“Hi. Are you going to invite me in?” I say with an eyebrow cocked.

“Oh yes, how rude of me. Come on in. I will be just a second.” She stands to the side, ushering me in. “I’m just about done. All I need is my handbag and we can leave.”

Just before she is about to walk past me, I block her, giving her no choice but to look up at me since I am six feet and she is only about five four in heels.

“I want to thank you for accepting my invite tonight, and this rose is for you.”

She takes the rose and holds it up to her nose, inhaling the scent. She never breaks the trance that is happening between us.

I finally look down to notice her sexy lips and I want to kiss her so passionately, but I won’t make that move just yet. She doesn't know what's coming. I have a lot of planned for her. She has no idea.

“Thank you, I love roses,” she genuinely says while trying to pass me.

I move to the side slightly so she can get her things and be on our way. She walks back up to me. “Ready?”

  “Ladies first.”

She goes ahead of me and after locking her apartment, I guide her by placing my hand on the lower part of her
back.

We walk toward my car and she seems to be impressed. “I’m taking it by the expression on your face that you like what you see?”

  “It’s okay,” she says.

  “Just okay?”

“It’s more than okay, I think you have nice taste,” she says as I open the door for her.

I take a good look at her as I walk around the front of the car to get to the driver’s side; she also has her eyes on mine until I get inside. I sit down and immediately reach over to her and she jumps in surprise.

“Relax, Natalia, I’m putting on your seatbelt.”

“Do you always buckle your passengers into the car?”

“No, you were my first one and I enjoyed every minute of it.” She gives me a shy smile, but I’m doing all I can to hold in my laughter. Her face was priceless.

  “Where are we going?”

“Don’t worry about where we're going. Just know that when you are with me, I will take care of you. You don’t mind do you?”

“Yes I do,” she says, seeming to be upset.

“I’m not kidnapping you, so don’t worry about that. If I was going to do that I would have made sure to have taped your mouth shut and have your hands tied behind your back. Then I would have thrown you in the backseat of this car. I would also hide all evidence.”

She looks over and I give her a sly grin.

“Well, alright-y then!” she says as I turn my head straight ahead to enjoy the ride.

The rest of the drive to the restaurant was quiet. We arrived at the place. It’s a small, elegant place in downtown Manhattan called “The Spiced Little Room.” This restaurant is one of the best, most romantic places in New York City for a fairy-tale romance just like in the movies.

I hope she likes it. Marissa has been rattling on about this place for months, so it made sense to bring Natalia to experience it together.

Once we are in, I notice all the employees dressed in black and well put together. The lights are dim with candles lit on all tables. The tables are small with two chairs to keep couples close. The music playing in the background has a jazzy vibe to it.

“We have reservations under Daniels, Evan Daniels,” I kindly tell the hostess.

She searches my name. “Here you are. This way, please.” She walks us to our table. I pull her chair out like a gentleman and she thanks me while sitting down.

The waitress comes over as soon as we are both seated. “What would you like to drink?”

“Bring a glass of red wine for my lady and a double shot drink of the finest whiskey on the rocks for me.” The waiter nods and leaves to go and get our drinks.

“Wow, I am impressed with this place. Did you think of this yourself or have you been here before, Evan?”

“I’ve never been here before. To be honest with you, I found it on Google. I wanted to try something new with a special lady like you.” I didn’t want to mention that I took the idea from another woman; I didn’t want to start off with negative tension.

“What are you craving to eat today?”

“What am I craving?” I think for a second if I want to really tell her what I crave, but I’ll hold my tongue for now.

“A steak dinner perhaps.” She gives me an odd look. “It’s what I am craving.”

  “Oh. Okay.”

“What are you craving, Miss Natalia?”

  She blushes. “Shrimp salad.”

Our drinks are served to us and the waitress asks what we will like to eat. I take charge ordering her shrimp salad and a well-done steak with vegetables on the side for me.

The waitress is still standing there like I had forgotten something. “Is everything okay?”

She stammers, “Everything is great.” She finally walks off, but not after making me feel like she just got done eye fucking me.

Shaking my head, I look over at Natalia sitting across from me. She looks like a fucking angel. She is gorgeous.

“I guess you have a fan.”

“Are you talking about the waitress?”

  She nods.

I can feel a little jealousy from her and I like that. I change the subject. “Tell me about yourself?” I ask her, really wanting to get to know her.

“Why don't you start by telling me about that girl last night? Is that your girlfriend?” She stares seriously.

My eyes widen. “I don’t have a girlfriend, Natalia.”

“Okay then, who was that woman last night before you put me in a cab and shipped me off?”

“The woman from last night is not my girlfriend. It’s complicated and I’m sorry, I didn't mean to give you that impression, and I did not mean to ship you off so soon last night.”

“It’s complicated?” She looks pissed. I really cannot let her go in with this conversation.

“Let’s start over. My name is Evan, Evan Daniels; I’m thirty-three years old and completely intrigued by you. I hope we can scratch last night off and we start fresh.”

I hold my glass of whiskey up against hers. She hesitated a second but after taking a deep breath, we clink glasses both saying, “Cheers.”

The waitress sets down our plates in front of us. She also refills more wine in her glass.

I stare at Natalia; she still looks irritated. She doesn't take her eyes off of me and as she takes a long sip of her wine.

“I’m still not sure about this complicated shit.” She says

  “Please just trust me.”

She nods her head, saying okay, but I know she is still uncertain.

“Tell me about you,” I ask again.

“I’m a full-time student at NYU and I am about to be graduating soon. I also work part time at a law firm as a receptionist.”

  “Tell me about your family?”

“My family?” she repeats and I nod my head. “Well, my dad is a very successful Doctor in NYC, and my mother is his secretary. My parents spoil me as long as I continue my education and not to mention, I am their only child. I only work to help my shopping addiction.”

“So, you are smart and spoiled.” She laughs a little.

My cell phone rings on a low ring and I grab it as I excuse myself, walking to the restrooms. Before I can answer the phone, it goes to voicemail. I tap on the screen to retrieve and listen to it.

Fuck. It’s Marissa letting me know I better be at Fredericks Lounge tonight. I go back to my date, not letting Natalia know just yet.

There's an awkward silence for a few seconds which feels like few minutes. She looks as if she wants to say something but doesn't, so I finally break the silence.

  “Are you single?”

“Yes, I wouldn't be here if I wasn't. I’m not that kind of girl, Mr. Daniels.”

“I must admit I like that answer, but it wouldn't make any difference if you weren’t single. I just had to know who if you weren’t so I could get him out of my way.” She looks down and I notice the redness on her cheeks. “Are you blushing, Natalia?”

She looks up smiling. “Maybe just a little.”

“How is it that a smart, beautiful girl like you is single in NYC?”

“I’m not in a rush to meet any fool out here. How about you, are you single?” she asks with complete sarcasm in her voice.

“Why? Are you wondering why a good-looking guy like me is single in New York City? And I thought we already discussed that part.”

“Ha ha no, I’m not wondering anything and you're right, we have. It’s complicated.” She uses air quotes on complicated. Then dives head first into her next question. “What about your life, Evan? Tell me who you are?

  “Now you are wondering?”

“I guess I am. You caught me.”

We continue to eat as we chat some more.

“I am an only child, grew up with a single parent, my mother, who worked very hard to raise me. I am a single child just like you. I love pasta, I am a businessman, and I love animals.”

  “Nice I love animals, too.”

There is this chemistry that i
s so hard to deny between us. I can feel it and I know she feels it, too. I lean forward with my elbows on the table to get closer to her and motion with my finger for her to come closer. She leans in and I whisper into her right ear, “You look sexy tonight. Your blue eyes are captivating me.”

“Thank you. You look very nice tonight, too.” She flirts back

I touch her right hand and start playing with her fingers gently. I then take her wine glass, put it directly to her lips, and tip it back so she can take a sip of wine. A little falls from her mouth and she wipes it from her lip, laughing softly. She had beaten me to it before I had a chance to wipe it off with my mouth. She responds well to me and my every move.

We finish our meal with small talk. I leave money on the table and get up out of my chair to help her out of hers. We are walking side by side when I grab her hand to hold it.

  Natalia's POV

  CHAPTER 4

I stand up and I trip a little over my own feet, nothing major. I think I am feeling this wine already. Apparently he doesn’t notice, because we start walking and he grasps my hand, threading his fingers through mine.

Feeling frisky, my body is calling for Evan, but that’s something I need to keep at bay. The more his skin rubs on mine, the more I just want to rip his clothes off and jump his bones right here in the restaurant lobby.

The night is dark and warm, and the sky is filled with stars. Can it get any more romantic than this? We get to his car when he stops me before we get any closer, still holding my hand.

He turns in my direction, his face inches away from mine. “I had a great time with you.”

“I had a great time, too.”

I enjoy his company and I wouldn’t mind doing this again. The expression on his face looks like he is engrossed in his own thoughts.

“What are you thinking about?” I ask him curiously.

“I’m already planning our second date.” He says as he moves a hair out of place on my hair.

“Already? What if I am not interested in a second date?”
