Angel Without Page 33

by Rhiannon Ayers

Maddox sighed, stole another quick kiss from Riley before leaning over his shoulder to do the same to Amber, and stepped away from them. “Yeah, you’re probably right. You guys finish your coffee. I’ll get the door and figure out what’s going on.”

Amber nudged Riley until he turned around, kissed him sweetly, then hopped off the counter.

“Wait until I get upstairs. The boys don’t need to see me in my PJ’s.”

Riley laughed as Maddox nodded, a grin lighting his face. Some of the boys they were sheltering had major crushes on Amber, following her around like puppies whenever they got the chance. A couple of the older ones had even hit on her—before they figured out she belonged to Maddox. Fortunately, none of her admirers had crossed the line, so he and Riley could tolerate them being around her.

But that didn’t mean they were willing to push their luck.

Amber scampered up the stairs while Maddox headed for the door, his mind filled with all the things the three of them would be doing together over the next few months. There were so many possibilities, so many accomplishments to look forward to. Helping their kids, building up the reputation of Street Smartz, earning more accolades for their charity projects. And that was just the business side of things.

With Amber and Riley by his side, Maddox knew he could accomplish just about anything. The two of them were his center, his whole reason for being. He loved them both, desperately and completely. He might be the Dom, but they were the ones who owned his soul.

And he wouldn’t have it any other way.
