Audrey's Road Trip
Page 12
Suddenly I found myself rolled over so that I was on my back, and James’ knee was nudging my legs wide so that he could position himself in between them. Soon I felt the seeking tip of James' manhood probing at my entrance, and I surged forward to allow it urgent admission.
We coupled furiously and urgently, and soon the feverish pace brought us both to climax, this time it was James first, and the feeling of his sudden final thrust was the last thing I felt before I began shuddering in ecstasy.
After, we lay panting on the top of the bed, amongst the rose petals, and then I swished the covers to one side and covered us both so that we could lie in each other's arms and experience that languorous state that came after a lovemaking session - we would lie together lazily, sometimes talking about our day, or about what we would plan to do on the weekend, but mostly I just enjoyed lying in James' arms, often with my head on his chest listening to his thundering heartbeat slow to a more normal speed.
James spoke.
"So, you planned this whole weekend, the flowers, that champagne I see getting warm by the bed, just for me?"
I raised myself and leaned over him, looking down at his thoughtful face.
"Yep. I thought that since we have known each other just over a year now, that's plenty of time to know what I want. I want you James, and I was pretty sure that you wanted me too, so I thought it was time for us to move forward.”
James suddenly leapt up, affording me a lovely view of his taut backside as he twisted and bent down to his jeans that he had dropped on the floor, rummaging in the pocket and returning to the bed with a little box. I took it, gazing at him thoughtfully.
"Remember when you were minding Emily's engagement ring during the ceremony while Richard put her wedding ring on? Did you realize that you put it on your ring finger? I got the sizing from Richard later, he promised not to tell that I asked".
I marveled at James' sneakiness and foresight - Emily's wedding had been some time ago, and he had kept the secret all that time, and had obviously been thinking about this for a while. I opened the box.
James spoke hurriedly.
"If you don't like the stone, I can return it, I didn't get it engraved just in case. If you like it, we can get it engraved with today's date".
I looked at the traditional solitaire and couldn't imagine not liking something that James had chosen with love. Then I realized what date would be inscribed on it, and remembered the other part of my surprise and started to laugh as I put on the ring.
James rolled his eyes.
"Again with the laughing. First when I proposed, now that you are wearing the ring. It's enough to make a man feel inadequate you know.”
"You could never be that, James", I began, "I'm just laughing because I'm thinking of the date we are going to put on this ring. It's Hallowe'en remember?"
As James still look confused, I got up and before going to my bag, which I had not yet unpacked, I poured some champagne, which was thankfully still cool, although no longer chilled. I passed a glass to James and took a sip, then put down the glass as I rummaged in my bag.
"There's no way I would have been able to hire these without embarrassment normally", I began, "but since it's Hallowe'en I told the costumes hire people that we were going to a party".
James sat up suddenly when he saw what I was holding up.
I had hired a pirate costume for him, and a wench's outfit for me.
Needless to say, I had to go into the costumes hire company after our return to the city, and buy the outfits. I made up a lie about how I had spilt red wine all over the bodice of the shirt, there was no way I was going to tell them the truth and tell them what really happened to it.
