The Contract (Billionaire Erotic Romance) (The Agency) Page 3

My body felt spent as I collapsed on top of Mason. I could feel him shaking underneath me, his breathing heavier than it had ever been before.

“That was absolutely incredible. Who would have thought, your little pink boyfriend could have helped me out,” he said in-between breaths. I looked up at him and ran my fingers through his hair, a smile spreading across my face.

“Would you have done this without our agreement?” I asked him, knowing he was bound to agree to any new sexual experiences. My mind was already thinking up of new things to introduce to him even before he answered my question.

“You know, I’m not sure? I’ve always heard a guy’s g-spot is back there, but I don’t think I would have willingly gone for it. Now, I just feel like you opened up a whole new door.”

“A whole new back-door, that is.” I told him, not being able to resist the pun.

“This is true. And here I was thinking you couldn’t find things to make it even hotter,” he said to me, gently trailing his fingers across my back as I rested my head on his shoulder, giving his ear a playful lick.

“That’s only the beginning, big boy. Just wait until I bring out my twelve-inch dildo. Good thing you’re warmed up.”

His eyes opened wide at the thought of such a monster. Of course I didn’t have a twelve-inch dildo… but there was always a possibility.

“You wanna finish that movie now?” I asked him, not caring what we did as long as I could relax alongside him.

“Why don’t we lay here for a littler longer. Feeling you breathe against me is all I need right now.”

His words caught me off guard. It was a very relationship type thing to say, but instead of making me scared, it made me feel really happy. It could have been the moment of pure bliss we felt together just moments before, but everything just seemed so perfect. So I didn’t argue, instead I just stayed there, feeling his breathing next to mine. Next thing I knew, we were both fast asleep.

  Chapter 4

The next morning came with bright white sunlight streaming in through my window, which was technically my wall. It sparkled as it hit the chandelier hanging majestically over my California king sized column bed. Memories of yesterday started digging themselves out of the morning haze as I let out a yawn and reached over to touch Mason. To my surprise, my reach was met with just a pillow. I rubbed my eyes clear of the morning mist and looked over only to notice that Mason wasn’t there.

Well that’s weird. I thought to myself. Mason never was a morning person, and it was 7 on a Saturday. Usually I was always the first one up and Mason would just stay in bed. He never snuck out in the middle of the night either. If he were going to leave he would just come out and say it, not being one for sugarcoating much. Lately though, Mason was staying over all night. So what was the deal?

I climbed out of bed and pulled on some hot pink boy shorts I had lying around. I threw on a baggy white T-shirt that I’m sure belonged to Mason and made my way downstairs, wondering if he was in the kitchen.

“Mason? If you’re making breakfast I don’t like bacon,” I said out loud, expecting a response along the lines of “You don’t like bacon?! I always knew you were an alien vampire!” but instead I was just met with silence.

I glanced out the kitchen window and noticed Mason’s car was still in my driveway, so he had to be somewhere in here. I figured maybe one of the bathrooms, so I decided to let him come out on his own. I made my way over to my couch and sat down, flicking on the television and putting on the Food Network.

As I was watching Paula Deen fry up some pancakes in a few pounds of butter, something caught the side of my eye. I turned my head and noticed the door to my home-office was slightly ajar. Weird, that’s always locked. I thought to myself, Only me and Maria have a key.

Maria was my housekeeper and only came on Monday, Tuesdays and Fridays so there would be no reason for her to be in there. I decided to investigate, putting the remote down and walking over to the door. I peered inside, half-expecting to see some sort of burglar going through all my confidential files. Instead, there was no one. Nothing seemed touched or out-of-place either.

  “Hey, good morning!”

I leaped back and let out a yelp, not expecting a noise. I was so confused by the unlocked door that I had forgotten Mason had been in the bathroom upstairs. His exclamation behind me made me feel as though my death was imminent. Of course, it was just Mason, smiling his bright smile as always.

“Didn’t mean to scare ya, beautiful. Watcha looking at?” He asked, walking over to me and planting a nice, sloppy morning kiss on my forehead.

“Oh nothing. I just must have forgotten to lock my office room yesterday. You’re up early this morning?” I said, returning his sloppy kiss with a lick across the cheek. I started thinking we were actually 15-year-old teenagers as opposed to successfully functioning adults.

“Yeah, I couldn’t sleep. I went out for a run and thought you wouldn’t be up until a little later. Would have left you a note,” he said, walking over to the kitchen and pouring himself a glass of water.

I hadn’t noticed but he was indeed wearing his running shorts and sneakers.

“Must not have been hot outside, you didn’t sweat a drop,” I noticed. Mason was a heavy sweater, always something I teased him about. It was great calling him a human sprinkler sometimes.

“Yeah it was pretty breezy. So what’s on the agenda today,” he said, switching topics effortlessly as he hoisted himself up onto the island and sat, his legs dangling off the end.

“Me and Sharron have a pampuss day today. Sorry, no boy’s aloud.”

“I never could figure out what pampuss meant. When am I going to be honored enough to be told?”

“When you grow boobs and can come out on our pampuss days. But for now, you’re fine the way you are and you don’t have to know. Just know it’s a girls thing.”

Pampuss was actually a word we had come up with back in high school. It was a combination of pussy and pampering, real classy, I know. Even till this day, Sharron and I have monthly pussy pampering days where we just act like teenage girls, being pampered and cared for and relax out at a spa. Pampering our pussies was a pastime we never missed.

“Anyway, I’ll call ya after we’re done?”

“Fine. Maybe I’ll go have a pampuss of my own somewhere,” he said begrudgingly, hopping off the island and walking over towards the door. Just before he left, he grabbed me again and planted a passionate kiss. I couldn’t help but feel some butterflies come to life at the pit of my stomach. I’m going to have to buy raid, I thought to myself as I watched him drive away.

Later that day, I met with Sharron at our favorite spa in Beverly Hills. It was the epitome of decadence. I always walk in and immediately feel as though I’ve been transported to a pure paradise. The dim lighting along with the island like décor is absolutely perfect and the light tropical music adds just the right touch to the ambiance. What completes the place is the staff, who treats everyone as though they are goddesses straight from the promised land.

“So we did the contract,” I told Sharron as we were both getting our backs massaged inside a private room.

“Oh, honey! Tell me all the details, and don’t spare any dirty ones.”

I went ahead and told her about our first adventure without boundaries. I didn’t mind that the masseuses were in on the conversation, I had known them for a very long time now and felt as though I didn’t have to hide just because they were there.

“Oh my, that sounds incredibly hot! Hotter than 69 Shades that’s for sure.” Sharron answered after hearing about the escapade. “So what are you going to do with him? Did you ever talk to him about the whole working for you and how sketchy that was?”

“No, I couldn’t come around to it,” I replied, a little ashamed at my inability to discuss the topic with Mason. It was a valid issue and I was never shy about bringing things up before, why now?

“You know it’s because you’re growing feeli
ngs for him,” leave it to Sharron to read my mind.

  “I can’t help it. He’s everything I’ve ever wanted in a perfect, Adonis-like package.”

“Yeah well I still think he’s a conniving weasel, darling. But if you like him, then I really can’t interfere. Just try not to get blinded by his… well his dick game.”

“Dick game? Is that a French saying?”

“No, I thought it was American actually. Regardless, don’t let the sex distract you.”

Sharron raised a valid point. The sex was incredible, but that wasn’t all there was to Mason. There was that aura he had around him. There was that way he held me that made me feel as though things were ok. There was that way he talked to me that made me weak at the knees. And the butterflies in my stomach today? Only Mason could be responsible for those.

“Ok, I’ll talk to him about us then. It was weird this morning though. I woke up and he wasn’t there, usually he sleeps till like four in the afternoon,” I told her, confusion entering my speech.

“Did he sneak out like a masked bandit in the middle of the night?”

“No, no. He just went out for a morning jog. Just odd,” I had completely forgotten to bring up my unlocked office door as my masseuse worked his magic on just the right spot.

“Well, you don’t want to keep your Adonis on too tight of a leash. Let him run and keep that six-pack of his.”

I laughed at Sharron just as my phone started ringing. The sound seemed to shatter all illusions of peace and tranquility that the spa set out to create. I reached over to my purse in a flurry, trying to find my phone and silence it before it seemed as though the place would explode.

“Ah shit, sorry about that,” I said, finally finding it and muting the ring. I pulled it out of my purse and glanced at the caller id. It was a number I hadn’t recognized before so I decided to answer it.

  “Hello?”

“Blaire Stone?” A woman replied on the other line. Sharron looked over me with a slightly confused and very annoyed glare.

“Yes this is she,” I replied, holding up one finger to Sharron, letting her know to wait. Something felt wrong.

“Hi Blair, I’m calling from ADT Protection. We have police dispatched out to your office. It seems as though there was a break in. Someone has been shot.”

My heart dropped and then leaped up to my throat in one single motion. Shot? Break-in? What the hell was going on.

“Who’s been shot? Are they ok? When did this happen?”

“Shot! Oh my dearest God, is everything ok?” Sharron exclaimed, brushing off her masseuse and sitting up on the table, eyes wide with worry.

“I don’t have exact details, mam. I’m just with the alarm company. I suggest you make your way over to the scene. I’m sure officers will want to take down some statements and also go over what was stolen with you,” the woman on the phone said.

“Yes of course. Thank you for calling.” And with that I hung up. I turned to Sharron, when all of a sudden I remembered. Mason had text me an hour ago saying he was going to stop by the office to drop something off. The blood instantaneously rushed out of my face and my head felt ten-times lighter. I immediately unlocked my phone and called Mason, Sharron noticing the panic setting in on my look.

“What’s going on,” she asked me as the phone rang without any answer.

“Someone’s been shot at my office. Mason. He was going there earlier. He’s not picking up. He’s not answering his phone.”

I shot up and put on my clothes faster than ever before.

“Oh my holy Jesus! Honey, let me drive you there. We’ll figure things out. Oh my great God, shot?! Oh no, no, no. I’m sure Mason is ok… Oh dear.” Sharron said, also throwing on her clothes and rushing out.

The receptionist called out to us as we both ran out in a panic. I reached Sharron’s car and threw myself in. The drive to my office was really only about ten minutes from where we were, but it felt as though it was hours. During that time, I continued to call Mason and still had no answer. I couldn’t help but think the worst.

What in the world was going on? First this morning with an oddly unlocked door, and now someone broke into my office and shot another person! This was not how today was supposed to go. None of this was supposed to happen. I was just supposed to have a pampuss day with Sharron and talk girl stuff. Not talk about murders and break-ins.

Fear and panic was eating away at me inside. Something wasn’t right. But I had no answers until we showed up at the office. I was already dreading what I would be met with there. Today was going to be a very hard day.
