I keeping giving her what she wants—what we both want, my hands never leaving hers while I thrust in and out of her. June’s body is glistening with sweat, her body shaking. I know by the way she’s tightening on my cock that it won’t be long now. She’s about to explode.

  Fuck, I am too.

I know she likes that bite of pain and I’m going to make sure I send her over the edge with a bang.

I regretfully untangle my hand from hers, and I bring it across her heart shaped ass. The crack of the spanking echoes over our ragged breathing and I watch as the tint of red blooms across her pale skin. I do it again and again, taking great care to not touch the same area twice, this is about pleasurable pain, not hurting her.

June moves her hand under her body, going to her greedy little clit. I can feel that familiar heat begin at the base of my spine. My balls are heavy with cum that I’m going to paint her womb with.

“Fuck yeah, get yourself there,” I groan.

“Lee, I want you to come with me,” she whimpers, her body starting to shiver, as she tries to hold on.

I pound into her body harder and faster, wanting her to take me over the edge with her.

“I’m coming, June,” I groan, my eyes closing as the pleasure takes over. I feel her shatter as I fill her body with cum. I empty myself in her, jet after jet unleashing until it’s sliding out between us.

I prolong both of our orgasms with lazy movements, never wanting this feeling to end.

“I think you fucked me into a coma,” she breathes, when we finally collapse—still joined.

“You stay just like you are, I’ll still fuck you,” I grumble, moving reluctantly.

I hate like hell that I’m pulling out of her, but the view I get as my cum leaks from her pussy, has my cock already getting hard again.

“Too sensitive,” she mumbles into the comforter beneath her, and I laugh. She may think she is, but something tells me I could easily have her coming again.

You’re safe for now, baby,” I murmur as I fall down beside her.

June moves closer to me, and I let our bodies meld together, neither one of us worried about anything else, it’s just the two of us.

  Now and forever.

  Epilogue

  June

  One Year Later

I stand in Mom’s bedroom room, Suzie and Cindy from the diner flanking me as we stare into the mirror together.

“You look beautiful, June,” Suzie says. “Your mother and father would be so proud of you.”

“Thank you,” I reply, smoothing my wedding dress over my curvy hips. “You two look gorgeous, too.”

They’re dressed in matching peach gowns from their shop and we’re each holding a bouquet of peach colored roses.

“We should go down now,” Cindy says. “It’s almost time.”

“I’ll be down in a minute,” I say, butterflies fluttering in my belly.

“You alright, sweetie?” Suzie asks, staring into my eyes.

“I’m doing great,” I say. “Nerves, but nothing unexpected.”

“You couldn’t find a better man, June,” she says.

  “I know,” I smiled. “I really do.”

“Let’s go, Mom,” Cindy suggests. “She needs some time alone.”

“You’re right,” Suzie agrees. “See you down there.”

They leave me alone and I sit on the bench in front of Mom’s vanity.

The previous year has flown by. Even though Lee and I had a rocky start, once we got past the dress debacle, as I liked to call it, the rest of our time together has been smooth sailing.

After a slow, but steady start, our love has grown into a raging inferno of passion, trust and deep love. Lee’s proven to be everything I dreamed he was and more. I’ve never encountered anyone in my life better than him, he reminds me of my father and that thought fills me with peace and excitement for the future.

I stand up, walking around the house that was now my own home—mine and Lee’s home.

I’ve decided to stay put in Townsend, restoring my folk’s house to its former glory. I lived with Lee until it was finished and once everything was done, he moved in here. There was never a question about slowing things down. We both know—have always known that what we’re building is forever.

The thought of beginning another chapter with him—this one as husband and wife—is everything I could dream of and more.

My hand goes to my stomach and I smile. I’m two months pregnant. Lee has no idea. His wedding present to me was our honeymoon in Costa Rica. Mine to him will be the announcement that he’s going to be a father.

I can’t wait to tell him. I know he’ll be just as ecstatic as I was when I found out.

I know they’re all out there waiting for me, but I take my time heading down, taking a moment and walking through each of the rooms of my home. Every one holding unique memories and now Lee and I are going to spend a lifetime making even more.

I smile, imagining our son or daughter running through the hallways that I’d scuffed up myself at their age. They’ll be as special as their Daddy and as kind, too. They’ll grow up strong, secure and loved within these walls— just like I was.

And, maybe one day, my child will raise their own family under this roof.

There’s something profound about putting down roots and nourishing them for decades, honoring the past and the present while building your future.

I make my way out towards the garden, the sound of voices drawing nearer with each step. I look out the window at our guests and can’t help but smile. It looks like the whole town is out there, dressed to the nines.

It’s a beautiful summer day. My eyes trail around, taking in the whole scene. We’d spent the week decorating, and no matter where you looked, the garden was covered in peach roses and ribbons that dance in the breeze.

“Ready, June?” The Chief’s voice booms from behind me. I turn with a smile and nod.

  “I am,” I whisper.

“Looks like a great day to get married, if you ask me.”

“I agree,” I reply, threading my arm through his. We stop just inside the back door to allow time for everyone to get in place, waiting silently until the pastor signals to the Chief. He nods and then turns back to me.

“Let’s get you to your groom before he gets too impatient and comes and gets you himself.”

“Thank you for giving me away, Chief,” I murmur the moment finally at hand and my heartrate beating harder because finally I’m going to be Lee’s wife.

“I know you’re missing your parents today, June,” he says softly, and I can only nod. “But, you’re part of our family too, and I for one, think that Lee couldn’t have done better. I love you, little girl,” he says. “I’m honored you asked me to walk you down the aisle. Shall we?”

I nod and lock eyes with Lee at the end of the long aisle.

  He’s everything I need.

  Everything I ever wanted.

I put one foot in front of the other and head straight toward my future.

  Epilogue Two

  Lee

  Almost Two Years Later

“How are my two favorite ladies?” I ask June as I walk up on the porch.

Lucy barks, feeling neglected and June laughs. “Okay, three,” I mutter, reaching down to scratch Lucy’s ears. She seems happy with that and takes off to play in our fenced in yard.

It’s a beautiful July day and for once the humidity is low. I just got done doing a full twenty-four-hour shift and finally I’m home with my family for the next two nights. I’m beat, exhausted clear to the bone, but seeing June holding our daughter, Bethany in her arms makes everything better.

“We’re better now that Daddy is home,” June says, as I lean down to place a kiss on our daughter and then, June. I sit down on the swing beside her, my arm draped on the back as I look down at our sleeping daughter.

June named her Bethany after her mother. We don’t call her Betty, like her mother was nicknamed, but
the fact she has her mother’s name makes June feel as if our daughter will always have a piece of her grandmother and I have to admit I like that too.

I’m not close with my parents. They’re both military, done their time and raised their boy. I get cards from them sporadically and they’ve come in to see Bethany, but they didn’t stay past one day and I didn’t ask them to. I have all the family I truly need. I have my crew at the firehouse, and I have my girls. My heart and my life are full.

“I don’t suppose I can talk you into taking a nap with your husband while our daughter is snoozing?” I ask, June.

She looks at me, a smile playing on her lips.

“If I get in that bed with you, Lee, we both know you won’t be napping.

  “We will…after…”

“And by then your daughter will be awake,” she laughs softly.

“Then, I’ll watch her while you nap,” I tell her, already standing up, leaning down to help her and our sleeping bundle get up too.

“You’ll do no such thing. You’ve been out all night. I heard about the wildfire you guys helped stop in Gatlinburg,” she chastises.

“I was afraid of that. I didn’t want you to worry, baby.”

“It’s okay, I knew you were safe,” she says as we walk into the house.

  “You did? How so?”

“Our story has just begun, Lee. We have a lifetime more to live together,” she murmurs, stretching up to kiss me.

We walk inside, my hand at her back, and we put our baby girl in her crib together. We stand there for a minute, looking down on the miracle God let us create together and I feel so much happiness well up inside of me that it almost takes my breath.

“I love you, June. I couldn’t imagine living one day without you and Bethany, what we have together is everything I’ve ever wanted. My heart is completely full.”

“I hope not completely full,” she says, stepping into my arms and settling her head against my chest, her ear pressed against my heartbeat. I know that’s what she’s doing, because she does it often, especially after a particularly rough night at work.

“I don’t see how it could get any fuller,” I tell her, giving her a squeeze.

“What if I told you that you’re going to be called Daddy again?” she says, pulling back to look up at me.

  “Daddy…”

“I’m pregnant, Lee,” she says softly, her voice full of excitement.

“I’m going to be a daddy again.”

“You are,” she says nodding her head enthusiastically, despite the fact we’re keeping our voices down because of Bethany.

I reach over and grab her, draping her over my shoulder in a classic fireman’s hold.

“What are you doing?” she laughs.

“Taking you to bed to celebrate the fact we’re going to have a little boy,” I tell her, heading straight for our bedroom—that is just across the hall from Bethany’s room.

“It could be another girl you know,” she laughs as I all but throw her down on the bed.

“That’s okay, if it’s a girl, I’ll be happy and we’ll just keep trying until we get a boy too,” I compromise.

“Wait, you want to keep having kids until we have a boy?” she questions, as I hover over her on the bed, trying to figure out the quickest way to get her undressed.

“I think that sounds like a good plan. I just need a little more testosterone in this house to even things out,” I tell her, finally deciding to help her pull off her shirt first.

“You do realize we could have ten girls before we have one boy, Lee.”

“Then, I guess it’s a good thing we have a big house,” I respond with a wink, pulling my own shirt off next.

“I don’t think it’s that big,” she argues, her hands eagerly going to my belt.

“We’ll add on, now quit talking and give your man some loving before Bethany wakes up.”

“You’re always so bossy,” she mutters.

  “And you love it.”

“I do,” she says, looking up at me, our gazes locking. “And, I love you, you crazy man.”

“Love you too, baby. I love you too,” I tell her, unable to resist kissing her.

I’m joking of course. Ten kids is a little much. We’ll have a couple more, because I know that’s what my June wants, and I won’t give a damn if they are girls or boys.

Although a little more testosterone might be nice…

I stop thinking at all when June’s hand wraps around my cock. All I can think about is my wife and how wonderful she is and what a fucking lucky man I am.

And Lee was lucky because seven months later Levi “Chief” Scott was born. Then, two years later, Anthony Wayne Scott was born. Lee thought they were done, but June had other plans and she decided to try one last time for another girl—because she felt their family needed evening out a little. If anyone was luckier than Lee, it was June. Because exactly three years after the birth of her son, she gave birth to not one girl, but two.
