Ty moved underneath of her, coming to life again. Sliding his hands past her hips, fingering her pussy once more. Danny continued fucking her mouth, with brutal intensity. He pinched her clit and mini explosions, bursts of pleasure erupted, as she orgasmed again.

She savored the taste, the feel of his cock on her tongue, down her throat. Sliding it in deep, pulling off slowly, before taking him back into her mouth again. Cupping his balls as she licked and sucked, feeling him tense, reaching the brink of his control.

She pulled off and he groaned, hot semen splashing on her cheeks, her neck, her lips. Running in rivulets between her breasts, trailing down to the apex of her thighs. Coating her with the warm, sticky fluid.

She opened her mouth, catching a few droplets on her tongue, as Danny yanked her up, sliding her body up to his. Crushing his lips to hers, sharing the treasures with him.

Ty pulled her back, licking her neck. He nuzzled her cheek, kissing the corner of her mouth, lapping at the creamy jets of sperm as he came, one final, momentous time.

The three of them collapsed on the bed, silent, but for the sound of heavily labored breathing.

  “I…um.”

  She opened one eye.

  Peering over at Ty.

“We’re going straight to hell, aren’t we?”

  “Shut up, Lena.”

“You have waited your entire life to say that, haven’t you.”

“Shut up, L.” Danny’s voice was muffled, face down on the pillow.

It was the first time Danny and Ty agreed on anything.

Danny reached over, capturing Lena’s hand in his own.

  She smiled tiredly.

  “So. Hey.”

  “So. Hey, back.”

“You ok?” He kissed the inside of her wrist.

  “Yeah. I’m…good.”

“I’m glad. I like when you’re happy. Especially when it’s with me.” She traced her fingertips over his lips. He kissed them, one by one.

“I know I’m the reason you weren’t. For a long time. I want to change that.”

“Let’s not talk about that now.” Lena’s voice was drowsy. She was drifting.

“I agree.” Ty yawned, not missing Danny’s frown.

  “Yeah, fucker. I’m still here.”

“Cut it out, Ty.” Lena yawned as well, reaching back to slap his thigh. She rubbed on his leg absently, feeling the muscled hardness. Letting it comfort her with its familiarity.

Tyler wrapped his arms around Lena’s waist, laying his head in the small of her neck. Breathing in her scent. Thinking.

Tonight just bound Danny and Lena further together.

He felt a pang of emptiness in his chest. So much, it almost stopped him from breathing. What they had together…was tangible.

He wanted it too. With her. Thought he had it.

Now he wasn’t so sure. As satisfied as he felt right then, he knew something was missing. The attachment and need he felt for her was treading into dangerous territory. Right before his eyes, Lena was slipping away from him.

He needed to tell her how he felt. Before he lost her for good.

Beginning with the game he started. The irony wasn’t lost on him.

They would always be close. Would always have that little something neither of them either wouldn’t or couldn’t identify. But Danny was making a legitimate claim for her heart, whether she realized it or not.

Ty knew Lena would deny that shit to the end.

She never liked admitting having weaknesses associated with actually being human. Danny shared her with him tonight. But his attitude was one of indulgence. The growing confidence that she was all his.

  Ty wanted more.

They shifted, giving Lena breathing room. She grabbed Ty’s hand in her sleep, entwining it with hers. Bringing him to her lips where she kissed it, before pulling him closer to her.

The three of them drifted off to sleep, still physically joined.

Danny and Lena’s hands remained clasped. Together.

  As did hers and Ty’s.

The next morning when Lena woke in Danny’s arms, Ty was gone.

  Chapter 5

“You, um. Did what?” Reese looked at Lena. She was lounging in her office sipping on a café latte when Lena flounced in. Proceeding to collapse in the other chair.

  “And with whom?”

“You heard me. I fucked him. Well. Ahem. Them.” She paused, looking at Reese.

“Two weeks ago. At the club. Danny. And um. Ty.”

Reese eyed Lena and laughed. Shaking her head.

“Care to tell me what happened, this time, dear?”

“Ty started it. And left, the next morning.” She sulked. “Without a word.”

“And you just couldn’t say no, right?” Reese looked skeptical.

“When are you finally going to stop teasing that boy, and cut him loose?”

Lena stared at her shoes. She looked at her fingernails, finally looking at Reese. She blinked at her. Having no answer.

  That was per usual.

“Don’t give me that look. You know good and fucking well what I’m talking about. Every time you let this shit happen, you know it only gets harder to stop. This is beginning to get a little complicated, don’t you think? Do you really want to lose him as a friend?”

Reese repeated her last question. “Well. Do you?”

Lena looked at Reese and frowned. “God, Reese. You are so annoying, sometimes.”

“You know me, always encouraging and uplifting.” Reese smiled sweetly.

“You and your damn conscience, always interfering in the good shit. And if you must know, I don’t plan on it happening again.”

  Reese snorted. “Uh huh.”

“Yeah. Whatever. Oh ye, of little faith.” Lena broke off a piece of scone from the desk, dipping it into Reese’s coffee. Reese looked in her coffee mug at the crumbs floating around. She glared at Lena.

“So anyway,” Lena continued, ignoring Reese’s frown. “Now I feel weird.”

“It’s odd, isn’t it?” Reese rolled her eyes.

“Well, yeah I guess…” Lena ate her piece of scone, chewing thoughtfully.

“You think it shouldn’t have happened?”

“You know, I like when you aim high and reach for the big fat clue right in front of you.” Reese laughed, popping a piece of scone into her mouth.

Lena grinned. “And I like it when you kiss my ass too, you smart ass bitch.”

Reese cackled, starting to say something, then hesitated. Looking towards the door. She busied herself with something on the computer screen.

Lena turned around, seeing Ty. Standing in the doorway.

Reese coughed delicately. “How are you, Ty?”

“I’m doing all right. It’s Reese, isn’t it?”

“The one and only.” Reese smirked at Lena, getting up from her chair. She walked over to him, holding out her hand. “Don’t believe anything she says about me.”

She winked at him. “I’m really much worse.”

Ty grinned, not trying to hide his assessment of her from head to toe.

He liked what he saw. Especially Reese’s full, voluptuous breasts, which he always had a weakness for. He cleared his throat. Bringing his gaze north. Finally looking at her face as he shook her hand firmly. Not releasing it. He gave her a cocky grin.

“I’ll try to keep that in mind, sweetheart.”

Reese was not to be outdone.

Rather than be offended at his sizing her up like a piece of meat, she yanked him closer. Giving him a complete view of the treasures underneath her blouse. She eyed his crotch.

“Make sure you don’t, sweetheart. Because I eat little boys like you for breakfast.”

Tyler flushed, snatching his hand away. Lena couldn’t believe it. Reese had actually flustered him. She laughed out loud.

“Reese, play nice with Ty. He doesn’t know you’re only teasing. Now we don’t want to scare him away, do we? Then he won’t come ov
er to play, ever again.”

“Oh nooooooo, we don’t want that.” She cooed, settling back in her chair to blot her lips, applying more rum raisin lipstick.

“Not when there are so many things…” Reese deliberately eyed Tyler’s crotch again, licking her lips. “To play with.”

Tyler was horrified, feeling himself turning red once more.

How was he letting some woman, he just met, show him up?

That shit was not cool. He composed himself.

“Can I talk to you please?” He looked at Lena. “Alone?”

Lena looked at Reese. Reese smiled sweetly

“Come back and see me sometime, Mr. Malone. I’m harmless. I swear. And besides.” She winked at Lena. “I hear we have a lot in common.”

She snickered, turning her back to them. Lena gasped, pulling Ty out of the room. She shot Reese a dirty look, trying not to laugh.

“What did she-” Ty began, but Lena cut him off.

“Uhhhh…let’s hurry this up. I need to run some errands.”

Lena closed the door behind her, hearing Reese. Still laughing.

“So. Long time, no see.” Lena sat down on the couch in her office. “What’s so important it brings you outside? During the day even.” She eyed him carefully.

“And make it quick, I really do have shit to do.”

“And that’s what you were doing when I just walked in, right? Work?” Tyler snorted, leaning on the desk. He folded his arms. “Spare me the bullshit.”

“Of course that’s what we were doing. We’re a well-respected public relations firm, Ty. We even have the awards to prove it.” She gestured towards the wall. “See?”

Ty leaned closer, eventually glancing back at Lena.

“They’re in crayon. You drew them yourself.”

Lena rolled her eyes, propping her feet up. “Meh…maybe I did. But that, my little goateed goat, is none of your business.”

She looked at the ceiling, tracing invisible patterns. Deliberately ignoring him.

“What did you say you wanted again?”

“Actually, I didn’t” He gave her an irritated glance. He was never concerned about being rushed. Ignored, yes. It irritated the hell out of him.

He was one of the few people as self-absorbed as Lena.

“But since you asked, I need an escort.”

  “And?”

  “And, I want you to-”

“Ohhhh no. Don’t even go there, Ty. You know Danny won’t be cool with that. ‘Sides …I don’t think it’s a good idea.”

“Jesus Christ, it’s just for the fucking evening. You don’t want to go to the award’s show with me?” He frowned. “And since when does he matter? We’re still us.”

He looked at her pointedly. “So, are you guys a thing now?”

  “Why?”

  “You know why.”

  “We’re…seeing how it goes.”

She was reluctant to discuss this now.

Besides. She’d spoken to Danny about that night as much as she had Ty.

  Avoidance as usual.

“What difference does it make for tonight?”

She gave him a frustrated look. “He matters since now. You already know we’re trying to do this…dating thing.”

“Oh, so you are dating, then.”

“What makes you think Danny isn’t going?” She ignored his question.

“We’re going to the after party at Sadist. You know, the one I’m hosting after the awards? The one you’re both supposed to be at?”

Ty scowled. “Because he isn’t. You know that. He has a save the earth, save the dolphins, build a tree, feed the homeless meeting. Some shit like that.”

“Well…regardless. I’m not going. So don’t try to convince me.” She paused, looking at him. “What is this really about? I haven’t seen you in two weeks. You leave, don’t call, and now this. What’s the deal, kid?”

“I really hate it when you call me that.”

“I know you do,” Lena said soothingly, patting his hand. “That’s why I do it.”

“Is that so?” Ty’s voice lowered, snaking his hand up her leg. “I guess that’s why I do this.” He grabbed her ankle, placing tiny, moist kisses on her bare skin.

Lena yelped, snatching her ankle away. She slapped his hand.

“Stop it, Ty. If that’s why you’re here, you can leave. I’m not interested.”

  She thought it sounded convincing.

  Apparently, just not to Ty.

Her nipples, tightening through her shirt, clearly didn’t help matters.

Where the fuck was her willpower?

  And her bra?

  What a hippy she was.

She sat up on the couch, giving him a stern frown.

“You apparently don’t learn, do you? I said no.”

“Are we going to talk about that night?”

“Ok, Pause.” Lena held up a hand. “Gotta stop you here, buddy. We are not having this conversation. You don’t want me, Ty. You never did. You like to fuck. I like to fuck. But that’s where it ends. That’s where it always ends. And that is precisely why it would never work, remember? It’s why we agreed to stay friends. Just friends.”

“And you really believe that?” He looked at her intently.

“That’s what I’m telling myself until I can figure all this shit out.”

“Uh huh. Fair enough, I guess.” Ty looked unconvinced.

“Don’t tell Reese. She already thinks she knows every damn thing.”

“I think she’s the only one with some fucking sense between us all.” Ty looked thoughtful. “Maybe she might want to go with me tonight.”

  “Reese?”

  “Something wrong with that?”

“Oh, no. Course not. It’s just that…” She trailed off.

  “Just what?”

  “You’re ok with all this?”

“Do you want me not to be ok? Besides, did you give me much choice?”

  “I just thought…”

That he would put up more of a fuss. She knew exactly what she thought. And she never expected him to ask about Reese. She also wasn’t ready to share her new found feelings for Ty just yet.

She wasn’t sure what to do with any of the cluster fuck she found herself in.

“She might. You should ask her.” She grinned at him. “You mean she didn’t scare you away? You looked a little green back there, honey.”

Ty stared down his nose at her. “I was not scared. She just…takes some getting used to. I like her, though. She sort of reminds me of you.”

“Yeah, well, she’s not me. You would be wise to remember that. Trust me. There is only one Lena. And there damn sure is only one Reese. Thank God.”

“So you really don’t mind? I won’t ask her if you do.”

“Man, please. Go. Ask her.” She shooed him out the door. “But be warned. Reese is not for the faint of heart. I’ve seen her make grown men cry.”

“I think I can handle her.” He grinned, and she scowled. She knew he could read her like a book. She was annoyed and it showed.

  Tyler and Reese?

“Oh yeah. What did she mean when she said we had a lot in common?”

Lena gulped, fidgeting with her bracelet. “Ummm….What did you say?”

“You heard me. Don’t act like you didn’t. What the fuck did she mean?”

Ty looked really suspicious now, refusing to budge.

“She…ummmm...meant...” Lena stared at a spot past him.

Refusing to meet his eyes. She bit her lip, stifling a laugh.

“She meant both of you give really good head.”

  Chapter 6

  Tyler asked. Reese agreed.

As he walked out the door, Lena waved. “Bye Ty. Have fun.”

He ignored her and kept walking.

Lena cracked up, remembering the stricken look on his face a few minutes ago.

He was so pissed at her for laughing at him. For even telling Reese anything. He should
n’t have ran his mouth about how Danny liked his dick sucked. Which reminded her to ask one of them the answer to that question.

Ty informed her he wasn’t speaking to her for the rest of the week.

Well, at least the rest of the night. If he could ignore her for that long.

Guess she wasn’t getting answers from him, then.

Lena called in to Reese’s office, “I hope you know what you’re getting into. That’s a complex motherfucker who just left.”

“Look at it this way. I couldn’t fuck him over any more than you did.”

Reese came to the doorway, staring pointedly at her.

Lena thought about it. “I realize you are once again being a smart ass, but I’ll choose to ignore it and address the statement.” Reese laughed, and Lena continued.

“Ty doesn’t want me. We’re too close for that. It’s not worth fucking up what we have, and he knows it. You however, don’t come with that baggage. You, in fact, my dear, sweet, screwy Reese, have the potential to hurt him more. So don’t do it.”

Reese looked at Lena for a few seconds. Then grinned. “Well look at you. Somewhere, in that self-centered body of yours, there actually beats a heart. I dig the protective thing. It’s cute.”

Lena opened her mouth to protest, and Reese held up a hand. “Seriously. I’ll be good. I promise.” She crossed her heart. “You’ve got more issues to deal with anyway.”

  “Like what?”

“Like all that bullshit you just spouted, you totally don’t believe.”

She smirked. “I’m giving you one last chance to say you mind me going out with him tonight.”

Lena was silent. Fidgeting with some invisible lint on her shirt.

“Totally fine. Have a fucking fantastic time.”

Reese sighed. Again. “Yeah. Good luck with all of that.”

And when the last award was given, Ty led Reese out of the auditorium, using the secured back exit. He put his hand on the small of her back, gesturing for her to go through the door first.

“So thanks for coming with me tonight.” He mumbled, not looking at her.

“So thanks for asking me.” Reese stopped walking, turning to face him directly. “Look, is there something wrong? You’ve said two words all evening. If I didn’t want company, I could have stayed at home.” Reese wasn’t really angry, just curious.
