River to Redemption Page 31

by Ann H. Gabhart

Each time I am fortunate enough to have a new book to send out to readers in hopes they will walk down the story paths with my characters, I have many people to thank. That includes you, the reader. I appreciate each of you who open my books to make my writing journey complete by letting my story spring to life in your imagination.

I am also blessed to have a great publishing team at Revell. My editor, Lonnie Hull DuPont, has worked with me on all my inspirational novels and always points out ways I can improve the stories. Barb Barnes has made me a better writer with her careful edits. It’s great working with Karen Steele and Michele Misiak, who are both always ready to help in so many ways. Cheryl Van Andel and her team have a way of coming up with eye-popping covers. Many more workers behind the scenes at Revell, from proofreaders to the sales team, do their part in getting my books out to readers in the best shape possible. I thank all of you.

Thanks also to my wonderful agent, Wendy Lawton. Her encouragement and advice are always exactly what I need. She’s the best.

And of course, I have to thank my ever-patient family as I take these periodic trips with imaginary people into story land.

Last, but never least, I thank the Lord for giving me words and answering my prayers when I prayed “believing” that I would get this story told. As Louis says in the story, “The Lord, he done good to me.”
