Candance said to Aries, “My mother’s name was Lisa, could we call her Lisa?”
Aries smiled at Candance. “Lisa is a wonderful name.” I stayed for a while talking to Aries and Candance. I told them I needed to return to the council.
Kira told all the girls to take the children to the great room. We will meet in the chambers for the meeting. I stood to tell my story of the trip to Earth. Tyler thank Kira and Omega for sending after him.
I told Kira, “You would not believe how strong the six of these girls are.”
Marie said, “Tressa is the strongest.”
Leah said to Tressa, “Rise and come forth.”
Leah told Tressa, “You have been given a power that is the greatest of all. You have been given the power of Mya. My message to you from Mya is to use it wisely. You will need it in the weeks to come. Power has been given to the Staff of Ira. That has been given to your father Omega.”
Marie asked, “What is this for, Leah?”
I said, “There is a war coming girls, a war of the planets. We will need all our strength to win.”

It has been two days since my husband arrived from Earth. I feel we had been lucky. A council had been called for the evening. Fax had arrived with his ships. The children had been carried to the chambers, Nida and Soy had come to take care of them. Soy was on council, however, she had declined to go to the meeting. Kira called the council to order. As she spoke, all listened to her.
Kira said, “I suppose you know of the trouble we face. Leah, stand please.”
I spoke to all, as my family. “The Xonian ships,” I pointed to Fax, “will help us. We are on our own. We do still have the ships on the moon.”
I asked, “Fax, will you stand?”
Fax said, “My ships will stay here with you. We have been friendly to this planet for many years. I would never think of pulling my forces. Even if I’m not here, I’ll always be close.” I took the floor again. “The ships on the moon will stay in orbit; we will be ready when they come.”
Tressa stood. “May I say something?” Kira told her to speak.
She took Brad by the hand. “As most of you know, this is Brad. We have been with each other since Earth; he is human.” I looked at my husband as he just shook his head. He knew what was going to happen; I did too. Brad was the color of the clouds. Tressa went on telling every one of him.
Tressa said, “Mother, if you and father do not want him to stay here in the palace, we will move to the city.”
Kira replied, “Tressa, you are the daughter of a king and queen, you may live where ever you wish.”
Omega looked at Brad. Omega said, “Come here.” Omega took his hand. “If you wish to take her hand, you must understand there are great responsibilities. Tressa is so much stronger than you, she always will be.”
Brad stood. “I love her, I can say no more.”
Aries said, “Brad, did Tressa tell you what would happen if you don’t?”
Brad replied, “She did not.”
Aries smiled then said, “You will be sent to the Moon of Spores.” You could see this bothered Brad; he started to sweat and move uncomfortably like.
Aries said, “Just joking.” Aries laughed so did everyone here.
Tressa asked, “Are having your fun, Aries?”
The council was turned to me. I told them, “I have returned from Earth, a place I hope to never go again. I cannot say what will happen. I can only say we will be ready for it, face it when it comes.”
Leah asked, “Tressa, will you walk with me?”
Kira asked, “May I come along?”
I smiled at her, then to Tressa. “I wouldn’t have it no other way.” On the stoop, looking across the valley, I told Tressa I had talked to Zin. I saw the gleam in her eyes. He has grown into a very handsome young man. Tressa looked at her mother then at me.
Tressa said, “Leah, I love Zin, there is no denying that. I have my whole life.” Looking at Kira, “I knew you and my mother would never let it happen.”
Kira said, “Tressa, I have no problem. You and Zin are Royal Blood; the bloodline lives on.” I said the same.
Tressa stated, “I made my choice, I’ll stay with Brad.” Tressa turned, walked away.
Kira told me as we walk back to the chambers, “I don’t think she will.”
I ask Kira, “What are you talking about?”
Kira said, “I don’t see her staying with Brad. Leah, I see trouble with him.”
“Yes, Kira, I see this too,” I said.
I met the girls walking to the staging area. Fax left knowing he will return if we needed him. I thought it was nice of him to leave his ships. We were on our way to the lab; there was so much going on, it was hard to keep up with it. I was trying very hard to comprehend it all.
A great explosion in the western sky above our atmosphere, I stared into space. Kira and Leah ran to the chambers where the children were. Natives from the city ran for their homes. I was not sure what had happened. I made a dash for the radio. Mekon was talking to one of the ships.
Mea said, “Dorn, it’s Wald.” Wald told her a ship had come from stealth in front of one of ours. Wald said it was a Centaurian ship.
Wald said, “Dorn, that was good work. Welcome home.” I told him to stay alert; there will be others.
Wald asked, “Where is the ship with Ozo? Where is he?”
I told him, “I was not sure, I’ll check. Why do you ask?”
“Just asking Dorn, he did well on the attack.” Mekon just shrugged his shoulders.
Mekon said, “We had to confine him to quarters.”
I told Mekon, “Take me there.” I walked to the back of the lab, opened the door. Ozo laid on a cot.
Coming to his feet, Ozo said, “There was a great explosion, what happened?” I told him we took out a Centaurian ship.
Smiling, he said, “Good.” I was not sure who he was.
I asked, “Who are you?”
Ozo said, “I am the son of Cam, captain of Bota long year ago. My ship was the first that was built by the Busies of Boldlygo with the magical powers of the Unicorn.”
I asked, “You know of Unicorns.”
Ozo answered, “Only what my father wrote in his journal. The stories he and his crew told when I was a small boy.” I told him I have heard the stories my father would tell me.
Ozo said, “That would make you Dorn.”
I replied, “I am Dorn.”
Ozo said, “Your queen and your wife said you made a deal with Ba.” I told him I did before I left for Earth.
“You made a deal for a man you don’t even know. The man you passed judgment on, someone you never met. The same King you made this deal with plans an attack on your planet.” Ozo stated.
I just looked at him. “So what are you saying?” I asked.
I’m asking, “Would you deliver him now to Ba?” I walked to the door.
“Come on, you don’t need to be in here.”
Ozo asked, “My men also.”
I told him, “Yes, bring them also.”
“You’re right Dorn, I don’t need to be here. I need to have a council with your king and queen.”
“As you wish, Ozo. I’ll set it up.”
The morning suns were high in the sky when the council comes to order. Ozo was standing in the middle.
Ozo spoke, “You know who I am, I wish to join you. I truly feel it would be something my father would have done. I’m not sure if you know my father stood with Bota and Ject on several different occasions. Ject and Tudo wrote in your archives of time.
My father told me of a venture he and Bota made on a planet controlled by the Centaurians. My father’s own captain tried to rob them. Cam stood with them, he was named a trader. Porta, the charges they have on him, are false, I assure you. Ba had
Porta to come to the planet, tried to take his ship. Porta didn’t want to join him so Porta escaped with his ship. The Veronian came after him. Porta destroyed two ships with several men on board, that’s when Ba said Porta killed them.”
I stood, watching everyone look at Ozo. “If that is true, why didn’t Porta return?”
Ozo said, “Would you, Dorn? Would you return to a king as him? Ba joined his brother Bas. If you had caught him, return him to Ba. He would not stop; he is on a power trip; he wants the universe. I tell you now if he is not stopped, he will, with the help of the other planets, he will conquer all, believe me. If you knew where he was, would you turn him over?”
Omega said, “Dorn, what do you think?”
“I believe him, Omega,” I said.
Leah said the same. “He proved himself on the attack.”
Kira asked, “Ozo, do you know where this man is?”
Ozo looked at Kira. “I do, my queen.”
Leah punched Ellie in the side and whispered, “The bitch smiled.”
Kira asked Ozo, “Will you deliver him to me? I will talk to him, make my own judgment.”
“He is here on your planet,” Ozo said.
Aries said, “There are only you and your crew. Which one is he?”
Kira said, “Let’s take a break, Ozo. You and your men come to the great hall for a meal, that’s the least we can do for you.” The time comes and goes, the council was called back to order. Kira and Omega took their place.
Kira asked, “Who is this Porta?”
Ozo was still in the middle. He replied, “He stands before you.” Leah smiled at me, she could read my thought. I felt sure this was going to happen.
Ozo said, “I tried to defend myself, Porta is my last name. My father gave it to me long ago. When I was taken to Ba, I introduced myself as captain Porta. If you’re going to fight, I would love to join you, call it payback for my father, also to repay your people for a debt for the first ship ever built on your planet thousands of years ago.”
Ren stood. “I will say a word.” Ren never talked about his trip to Earth, finding his son Henery. I believe it gave the old one a sparkle in his eyes.
Kira said, “Yes Ren, please speak.”
Ren said, “I never knew this man’s father. My father knew him, he spoke of him often. He told me the work he did for you on the ship you are on now, the help you did for him. I myself believe you.” There was a hush. No one has ever heard Ren say something so strong. Ren said, “If you turn on us, I will destroy you myself.”
Ozo said, “I understand.”
I stood. “One other thing, I was told you were on Earth.”
Ozo answered, “I was off the coast of the country called England. You see, I’m not sure your ship will go underwater, mine will. Several thousand feet under the sea of Earth. There were too many ships. I saw your ship in New Mexico, I never interfered.”
I said to him, “We were fired on by someone called Porta.”
Ozo said, “Dorn, it wasn’t me. Maybe a Palatonian, someone else. You know there were several there.”
I thought for a moment, “I do remember an old ship. Tyler and Henery asked of it also.”
“The Valorian ship traveling with you, he also is an honorable being. He was following orders,” Ozo mentioned.
Ozo turned to Kira and Omega. “I assure you, my intentions are good.”
Ozo kneeled to one knee, “I have been banned from my world. That leaves only Earth; I do not wish to live there. I feel my destiny lies here. I wish to be here if anywhere in the galaxy or universe. I’d rather be here, my queen.”
Kira stood, “As Queen of Boldlygo with my King by my side, council member, give your say.” Everyone stood and said, “Yes.”
Tressa looked at him. “You know if I wish, I could crush you like a rock.” Then walked away.
Mea walked to the girls. “I need to talk to you.” As we started to leave, Leah kissed me, turned and walked away looking back.
The girls were together - April, Marie, Tressa. “Well, you coming?” Leah asked. For the second time, they had been recognized. Now we will not be defeated by no one.
“I feel sorry when they do come,” Kira said.
Eight ships in orbit, the ships on the ground, the six orbiting the moon, the six girls said let them come. I picked up my daughter, went to my home.
Six weeks had passed since I had returned from Earth. There had been no attack on the city or the planet.
A message from the moon, Garth said, “Everything was good there.” The ship we blew up was the last we have heard from anyone. What I didn’t understand was why no one else had come. Wars were fought until someone gives up, or all were killed. I thought of the girls, I knew they were powerful, all six of them - Ellie, Leah, Candance, what I feared was the power the other three have - April, Marie, Tressa. I think Tressa, well, I believe she is so powerful I fear for all that does come.
It was said Tressa has the power of Mya. Yet what I don’t understand is how Mya was so powerful. I know nothing of the ancestors. I’ve never read the archives - Maoke, Bota, Ject, all that have come and gone. I do remember my Opa. One night he was here, the next he was gone.
Kira has said to my wife that the power Tressa has really upset her. No one knew Tressa would have powers, Aries never did. Candance, Leah, Ellie had powers. Did Mekon know this would happen? I think not. Yet all comes from the Blood of Mya. I’ve asked myself, how strong was Mya? How strong was her blood to pass DNA to the females into the future?
Maoke said, with each child born, the generation would be more intelligent. Leah told me about the reading she did in the archives. Maybe I should read them, she said she was the last living descendant of Mya. I wonder if this also. I feel that there are others, yet I’ll keep this to myself. Leah also told me of a sister. I was not sure of this either.
Destiny was a teacher from the Moon of Corning. Destiny was a sister to Quad, ruler of the moon. We have stopped going there for some reason. It was a regular stop going and coming from Earth. I was not sure why we stopped, maybe because the ships are faster. Maybe I should have Zar take Mr. Sams there when the council meets with him.
My thought returned to the teacher of the Moon. A most trusted human of Ject and Tudo went to do a DNA when they met her. Destiny from that day to my Earth mother to the day I found Leah, it had been planned for our race according to the archives, or that’s what Leah has said.
I suppose that’s why she fell in love with me so quickly. Leah knew me before I knew what was going on. She hooked me. The first time we made love was my first time. I was glad I was hooked. Well, you know the rest is history.
Leah called my name. I turned to see her. She had Shasta in her arms. My beautiful daughter, what future does she have? Charlie, Lisa who would they become? Will they stay or go to Earth? I must admit, each one has grown and developed greatly. It is the wars I fear, always fighting. Why can’t it be as it was.
Shasta reached for me smiling, saying, “da, da, da.”
Leah said, “Oh my Dorn, her first words.” She was clapping her little hands.
Leah said, “I need to talk to you. I called this the war of the planets. I worry about this since the ship we blew up. We have had nothing, Dorn. I feel they’re repairing their ships. I feel they will come. I feel they will strike hard.” I told Leah to have the sentries go to the city and tell the girls to come here to the chambers.
Leah said, “They’re already here at the palace. Zar, Tyler, Tabbi, Mi, they’re all here.”
I asked her, “Why are they here?”
She replied, “I knew what was on your mind. Soy and Nida are here to watch the children.”
“Leah, how do you feel about Nida now that you know she is Kira’s mother?”
Leah said, “I feel no different. I still love you. Kira all, but I’m pissed at
Ira. Dorn, you never slept with her. If you had, that was a long time ago, way before my time.” Hand in hand we walked to the palace. Walking into the courtyard, Mea called me.
Mea said, “Dorn, there’s a ship past our long-range sensors.”
I asked her, “Can you tell where they’re from?”
Mea replied, “We called the ship, no one responded.”
I asked, “How long before they’re here?” Leah and I walked to a table where Mea was working on a parchment.
“If they keep their speed, two days,” she said. I told her to call the ships to full alert. She told me she already has. I told her to watch closely.
Leah and I went to the palace. Soy had taken Shasta. I told Soy she was a beautiful native.
Soy replied, “Yes Dorn, it is good to see you too.” Walking in the chambers, Zar and Marie came to me.
“Dorn, we need to talk to you.”
I told them what they want. “You must go see Mekon.”
I said, “It seems when someone wants to do the change, they’re always trouble.”
For some reason, I turned and looked toward the lab. Henery and Mea was hand in hand. Leah smiled. She told me later, Mea fell in love with him the second he stepped off the ship. She said they were planning the mating ritual. Leah said there would be several others. Mea had been changing to her human side for sometimes. She told me she felt different.
Kira stood. “Father, you called us here. What is your bid?”
I spoke to everyone, “The ships you destroyed in the attack on Plano, the Palatonians have not come. This bothers me.” Mi stood.
I asked him, “You have something to say?”
Mi said, “The years I’ve spent with you, I know what is on your mind. I’m ready when you are.”
Omega asked, “Ready for what?”
I told Omega I would take a shuttle to Plano just to have a look. “I feel there’s a reason why they have not attacked us.”
Zar asked, “May I be the captain?”
I told him I had one. I told him, “You and Marie had something else to do.”
Tyler said, “I’m with you.”
