Eventually, all things—even good things—must come to an end. And so it is as I come to the close of this trilogy.

When I first began to delve into this world in the summer of 2015, I couldn’t have accurately predicted just how much fun I would have telling Ariel’s story, or the places it would lead.

My thanks to all those who have come on this journey with me, and all those who have helped along the way.

Special thanks to both Russell Blake, providing the initial impetus to tell this story, and his artist, Ares Jun, for his fantastic artistry for the trilogy.

To friends in Israel for, as ever, providing a sounding board for research and ideas—and to a handful of retired US fighter pilots who provided technical input. Any remaining errors or moments of “artistic license” are mine and mine alone.

To the members of the advance team for the volumes of the trilogy, for their diligence in working through the manuscript to supply invaluable feedback: Tyler Donoghue, Joe Walsh, T.J. Lowther, Brock Wilson, Paula Tyler, and Bodo Pfündl.

And to my readers, without whom all this would be nothing more than a personal hobby. Your enjoyment of these stories has meant the world to me, and though this trilogy may be over—I look forward to many more years of exploring the Shadow Warriors universe together. There are so many stories to tell.

May God bless you all, and may God continue to bless the United States of America.
