“Time out.” Lily pulls away first with glazed eyes.
“Time out.” Tyler adjusts his erection.
“Food,” I rasp as my stomach starts to rumble again.
“Couch and Game of Thrones?” Lily’s eyes are still heavy lidded.
“I like the way you think.” I look out the window. Nothing better on a rainy day than to cuddle on the couch and watch a binge-worthy series.
“Start the coffee. I have to reheat the pan. Lily, you can get the plates and silverware.”
“Don’t forget the bacon.” I give Ty a quick kiss and get the coffee going.
We work in comfortable silence and have breakfast ready in no time. It’s crazy how we all can communicate with just a look. It’s as if we’ve known each other forever and not just a couple of months.
We each carry our plates to the couch with Lily walking in front of us. She hesitates once she’s reached the couch, turning toward us. Whenever we spent time in the living area before, Lily always sat in the big armchair while Tyler and I cuddled up on the couch—except when she was sick—but that’s not going to work anymore.
“Where do you think you’re going?” I ask Lily from behind but don’t give her time to answer. Instead, I step around her and set my plate down on the coffee table. Turning around, I take hers as well and set it beside mine. With my hands free now, I reach for Lily and place her in the middle of the big couch.
“Perfect.” Tyler sits down next to her. “Now you won’t have to pretend any longer that something fell on the ground when things get a little bloody on the screen. You can simply hide your face on one of our shoulders.”
Lily blushes. “So you noticed.”
“Hard to miss.” I caress her cheek.
Lily snuggles closer to Tyler, and I hand her the plate.
“Thank you. Can you hand me my blanket too please?”
I raise my eyebrow. “We’ll keep you warm, Lily. You don’t need a blanket.”
“It’s not just about keeping warm. I always wrap myself in a blanket on the couch.”
“Why?” Tyler looks at me.
Sorry, buddy, sometimes women’s logic isn’t logical at all.
“Because I cuddle up in it. It’s fluffy and comfy and makes me feel good.”
“Lily, you can cuddle with both of us now.” Ty looks at me with wide eyes, but I shrug. Wow, I have to teach him so many things about women. Rule number one, never try to reason with them when they’ve set their mind on something. It won’t work. Period.
“I know, but I still need my blanket.”
“Even in summer?” His eyes widen even more.
“Yes, even in summer.” She leans back again, crossing her arms over her chest while balancing her plate on her knees.
“We need an air-conditioning system.” I turn to Ty, who’s still staring at Lily. “And if you haven’t noticed, that was a prime example of women’s logic.”
He chuckles and kisses Lily on her cheek.
Lily sticks her tongue out at me but doesn’t comment. I shake my head but put the blanket around her and tuck her in. She smiles and kisses me on the cheek as I sit down beside her.
We dig into our plates and watch two episodes in comfortable silence. But at the end of the third episode, I struggle to concentrate on the action on the screen.
Lily has changed her cuddling position and is now crushed against me. I’m highly aware of her small breast pressed into my side. Her nipples are burning holes through my skin, and her hand on my chest gives me goose bumps. What started out as a semi in the middle of the episode is now a full-grown hard-on that’s straining against my boxers.
Once the ending credits start, Lily moves even closer, and her hand drops down to my groin. I moan as she plays with me through the fabric of my underwear, lifting my hips up to give her better access.
“Like that?”
“Yeah.” I close my eyes while her fingers massage me from my tip down to the base and up again. It’s driving me fucking crazy.
“Don’t start what you can’t finish.” Ty’s voice sounds strained. We’re putting on quite a show for him. My face must be a mask of pure bliss.
“I can always watch.” Lily doesn’t stop, but I freeze and open my eyes.
My breath hitches as I look at Tyler and take in his wide eyes and dilated pupils. He likes the idea of her watching us as much as I do.
“But I’m not sore anymore, and as much as I want to see you go at it and find out if reality matches my imagination, I’d rather participate.”
“Are you sure you’re fine?” Ty strokes her side while his gaze remains on her hand that’s still covering my dick.
“Ready to go again.”
Ty bends down to kiss her, but she places a hand on his chest.
“I know last night was about me, but I don’t want you to hold back because of me. I want you to be together as well. This isn’t just about me.”
“You’d be okay with me fucking Tyler and him fucking you at the same time or the other way around?” I’m desperate to hear her say the words.
She nods with her mouth slightly open.
“Your wish is our command.” Ty sweeps her up in his arms and heads to the bedroom. “You’re coming?” He looks at me over his shoulder.
Hell yeah, I’m coming. Actually, I plan to come a lot.
Chapter Twenty-Four
Danny
“We need to talk.” Lily sits up beside me.
“Tyler, write that down. It’s always dangerous when a woman wants to talk.” I throw the blanket away and sit up as well.
“What do you want to talk about, Lily?” Tyler, the traitor, asks innocently.
“You’re such a softie, Ty.” I’m hit by a pillow. “But you’re getting better at throwing.”
“Stop it. We really need to talk. Can we get dressed, please? This is distracting.” Lily points at our naked chests.
“Okay, let’s talk, then. But can we eat first, please?” We missed dinner again yesterday, and since breakfast, which was hours ago, we’ve burned plenty of calories in bed—the honeymoon phase isn’t over yet.
“Can we talk while we eat?” Tyler stands and picks up a pair of jeans.
“Yes.” Lily leaves the bed and heads for the bathroom.
“Do you know what she wants?” Tyler turns to me and raises an eyebrow.
“No idea. Let’s find out.” I swing my legs out of bed and search for my jeans on the floor. Tyler walks out of the room, and I’m left alone.
Us being together has exceeded my highest expectations. Lily completes us in ways I never thought possible. I don’t think she doesn’t want to stay with us, but still, I’m a little worried about the talking part. Like I told Tyler, it’s always dangerous when a woman wants to talk.
I head into the kitchen where Ty is already preparing some sandwiches. I smile as I watch him place ham and tomatoes on mine and ham and cucumber slices on the next one for Lily. The one he prepares for himself gets one piece of tomato and two additional slices of ham compared to ours. Our hockey god isn’t a big veggie guy—at least when they’re raw.
Lily enters in yoga pants and an oversized tank top, and I wouldn’t want her any different.
“Hey.”
I love how shy she can become one minute and how bold she can be in bed the next one. But now is not the time to think about sex again, I scold myself.
“Hey. Here, take your sandwich. Danny, this is yours.” Ty passes me a plate, and we sit down on the couch again.
“We need ground rules,” Lily says before taking a bite from her sandwich.
“What kind of ground rules?” My mouth is half full, but she hears me.
“We need to be honest with each other. If this is going to work, no one can shut the others out anymore.” She looks a little longer at Ty than at me.
He nods. “I’ll promise to try my best. You know me by now. I want to figure out everything on my own first, but I promise to try.”
“I un
derstand, Ty, but if it concerns us all, like if you were to be traded, you need to talk to us immediately, okay?”
“I don’t think I’ll be traded, but I get what you’re saying, and I promise to talk to you. To both of you.” He turns to me.
“What’s the next ground rule?” This is going better than expected.
“Wait, Lily, I have something to say.” Tyler turns to her. “I want you to move in. Permanently.”
“Is that what you want too, Danny?” She turns to me, and I nod. Hell yeah. I don’t want to ever not have her around anymore.
“I might need to keep my apartment at the stable. Just for emergencies. Or maybe Ryan has a room I could use. I’ll talk to him. But yeah, I’ll move in then. I might want to add a little something here and there, though.”
“It’s your turn to go décor shopping with her, Dan.” Ty takes his second sandwich from the plate.
“Hey, you liked Ellie’s shop.”
He chuckles, but I’m not getting out of this one. “Good thing you have two boyfriends now, Lily. But I have one condition. We need a bigger bed. It’s incredible how a little person like you can occupy half the bed.” I pull her to me and give her a quick kiss.
“I’m not that bad.” She frowns.
“You’re worse.” Tyler pulls her to him and kisses her as well.
“Bigger bed it is. I have one more condition. We need to find a compromise for the shower temperature. I’m not going to shower with arctic temperature water ever again.” She stares at me.
“I like warm showers too. But yesterday the water you used in the beginning was boiling hot, so I had to cool off. I agree with the arctic temperatures, but neither can you use boiling hot water when we’re in the shower together.”
She nods, and Ty chuckles beside her. The moron was afraid of boiling his balls too when we showered together the first time. I’m taking care of him as well here.
“Let’s get serious again.” Lily waits until Ty has himself under control again. “What about if one of us is away? Can the ones left behind have sex then?” Lily blushes, and I want to hug her. She put a lot of thought into this ground rule thing.
“I don’t see why not. It’s not as if we’re cheating with each other. But I would want to hear every single dirty detail when I return.” I lean back and dig into my second sandwich.
“I like the detail thing. I’m good with this solution.” Ty pushes the rest of his sandwich into his mouth while Lily stares at us openmouthed. She didn’t really think we’d deprive each other of sex while one of us is away, did she?
“Okay. Yeah. Makes sense.” I love when she babbles.
“Actually, there’s already a dirty little story. While you were at the competition, I fucked Ty, and for your information, it was the first time he let me.”
Her mouth falls open. “Wait, so it was always Ty inside you before.”
Well, that’s one way to put it. “Yeah, Mister Hockey Hotness didn’t want to bottom for me, so I made him try it. And he loved it.”
“Dan—”
“Nothing to be ashamed of, Ty. It’s all right to like anal play. And just for the record, I plan to play with you as well that way, Lily, but only when you’re ready.” She lowers her eyes, but nods, and my dick says hello in my pants. “I’ll want to hear about your first time with Ty as well, but we’ll save that for later.” If we continue to talk about sex, we’ll end up in the bedroom again and won’t finish the ground rule stuff.
“We talked about honesty earlier. I think you have a confession to make, Lily, haven’t you?” I draw my brows together and give her a stern look.
“Danny! You promised.”
“I did because you were persuasive back then, but I wasn’t happy about it. Tyler has a right to know.”
“What are you talking about?” Ty sits up straight and looks from me to Lily and back.
“Lily?” She’s not getting out of this.
“Okay, okay. I’ll tell him.” She takes Tyler’s hands in hers. “Remember the game where you formed a heart for Danny after you shot the goal?” He nods. “In the intermission between the second and third period, I was harassed by some girls. They knew I was your girlfriend and called me a slut and some other things, but what they think doesn’t matter to me. Not anymore. It was nothing really. And it only happened once.”
“You were harassed and didn’t think to tell me?” He jumps from the couch and paces the living room like a tiger unleashed.
“It was nothing, Ty. Look at me. Nothing happened. Danny was there and took care of me, and I don’t care about what puck bunnies think.”
“You’ll tell me if something like that happens again, and I’ll talk to the organization. I’m not happy that you didn’t tell me. Actually, I’m pretty pissed right now.”
I’ve watched their exchange, ready to interfere if needed, but they’re managing well on their own.
“Well, if we’re talking about being pissed, you can’t gift me Cornado, Tyler. It’s too much, and I won’t accept it. I apologize about implying that you used him to pay for my services, but I still won’t accept him.”
“But you’re still going to ride him?” I was about to jump from the couch, but they’re still managing fine. To think Tyler would pay Lily for sex. Wow. Women's logic again. Undoubtedly.
“Yeah. But you’re the owner, and it stays that way.”
He bends down and kisses her. “Thank you for making my horse a winner, then.”
“You still can’t come to my competitions. The video proves it.”
It’s his turn to blush. What a sight. If the puck bunnies only knew Tyler can blush like a schoolboy.
Lily palms his cheeks and kisses him. I wait for them to break apart, but the kiss goes on and on. It’s an incredible turn-on to watch them, but this is not the time for another round of spectacular sex.
“Hey, time out.” I jump up and pull Lily away from him. “Ground rules first. Are you finished, or are there more to come? I have one more myself if you’re done.”
She looks flushed but clears her throat. “One more from my side. We’ll still have to hide, right? Officially I’m Tyler’s girlfriend, and you’re our personal trainer and roommate, but I can’t lie to my mom anymore. I want to tell her the truth, and I want you both to meet her. She’s going to love you both. I’m sure of it. If you don’t mind, I’d like to invite her over as soon as possible.”
“Okay,” Ty quickly agrees.
Wow. Half a year ago, Tyler would have had a fit about telling anyone anything. He’s truly changed. Because of Lily.
“I look forward to meeting your mom.” Lily’s eyes shine, and I pull her close to me and kiss her hair. My heart is overflowing with love for her. Yes, right, we’ll still have to hide certain parts of our relationship, but for Lily and Tyler, I’d go through hell.
“So what’s yours?” She clears her throat again.
“I’m good with hiding our relationship, and just for the record, I don’t want my folks to know. They wouldn’t understand. But I have one condition. Tyler, I’m good with being the hidden boyfriend, but when we get to the point when we’re ready for a baby, I want the first one to be mine. I’m not sure how we can make this work, but I’m sure we’ll figure something out.”
“You want a baby?” Lily’s hand flies to her chest.
“Not right now, but with you, I want everything.” My voice cracks. “I love you, Lily.”
She lifts up on her toes and gives me a lingering kiss. “I love you too.”
“Yes, to the baby thing. When the time comes, we’ll find a solution.” Ty puts his arms around both of us. “I love you both.”
Lily is crying softly, and one tear runs down my cheek as well, but I couldn’t be any happier.
“I love you too.” More than they’ll ever know.
I’m finally home.
Chapter Twenty-Five
Lily
“Damn,” Tyler shouts, dropping the chef’s knife on the kitchen count
er. Blood oozes out of a cut on his left thumb, and I hold on to the counter for support. Blood isn’t my thing, and I’m glad Tyler isn’t one of the Ice Tigers’ enforcers, as they get bashed up and bloody nearly every game.
“Danny, Tyler needs a Band-Aid,” I shout in the direction of the guest room where Danny is changing the sheets. I walk around the counter to hug Tyler’s right side while he presses a paper towel on his wound. I’ve never seen Tyler cut himself with a knife. He’s a star in the kitchen, and this incident shows me again how nervous he is about my mom’s arrival today.
“Hey, look at me, Ty. It’s just my mom. She isn’t going to eat you alive. Just remember to keep the volume down when we have sex.” After much contemplating, I told them about my masturbating sessions during their sex marathons, to their everlasting amusement. No way we’re subjecting my mom to our moans and groans, though. But Ty doesn’t even acknowledge my comment.
“I’ve never been introduced to parents before.” Ty looks so forlorn. I hug him closer.
“She’ll love you. I promise.” And I’m sure she will, though it might take her a while to get over the fact that we all love each other.
I’ve browsed the internet and read several articles about other couples with similar arrangements as ours in preparation for her visit, and I’m confident I know how to approach the subject. It’s not every day you’re being told your only daughter lives with two men and loves both. But the articles and experiences I read online have been encouraging. After getting used to the idea that someone can love more than one person and be involved romantically with more than one person at the same time, family and friends accepted and even supported those relationships. And so will my mom—eventually.
Danny runs through the living room, sliding over the wooden floor and coming to a halt in front of us.
“Show me your hand, please.” He puts a bottle of what I assume is a disinfectant spray on the counter and opens a package, retrieving the Band-Aid, while Tyler does as told. “It’s just a small cut. No stitches needed.” Danny applies the spray and bandage. “Take a little more care, Ty. We don’t want your finger in the chicken souffle.”
