I loved the mystery Cassidy had about her in the previous books, so when I first sat down to expose her inner emotions through her story, I was a bit intimidated. But I could not believe how fast this story flew off my fingertips. It was such an immense joy to write, so I want to thank all of you who encouraged me to tackle the task of giving Cassidy her happily ever after.
Once again, a huge hug and thank you to Kristen Kovach, one of the busiest people I know, who always finds time to give me a thoughtful beta read. You are such a treasure to me both as a reader and as a friend.
Big thanks to Sid Grimes for being such a good sport with my very strange research questions, and to Gina Kelley for her inspiration for the Jamaica portion of this story.
Thanks as always to my editor Trish Milburn who always leads me in the right direction.
Thank you to Kat O’Nell and Marianne Donley for getting me up at the crack of dawn on Saturday mornings to keep at this! To AJ Scudiere and Shannon Brown for sharing their vast knowledge of the publishing industry. And to the talented Monica McCabe who always helps me tweak my blurbs. Through the Music City Romance Writers, I have truly surrounded myself with wonderful, supportive people.
Thank you to my adviser and dear friend, Jessica Calla, who helps me figure out all the stuff, and to Greg Howard who devotedly listens while I tell him all the stuff Every. Single. Day.
And most of all, thank you to my guys. Our little family is more precious to me than either of you could ever conceive. I love the two of you and our sweet Marlene around the world and back.
