Hate Awakened: Book 3: The Feral Page 28

by Hartnady, Charlene

She put him at her entrance and sank down…down…down…on his thick girth. She cried out when she bottomed out. Leukos grunted, his eyes rolling back in his head.

For a few long seconds, they didn’t move. The sounds of her ragged breathing filled the room. Then Leukos gripped her hips and lifted her slightly. His mouth fell open as he pulled out. He groaned as he thrust back in. Suspended. He held her up and fucked her, using deep hard strokes right from the start. His eyes were locked with hers, they dropped to her chest. Her breasts bounced with each hard punch of his cock.

“Oh…oh god!” She was groaning and panting. Close. So very close. He knew where her spot was. They’d had sex enough times for… She noticed that Leukos was looking over her shoulder. His gaze smoldering.

She followed his line of vision, having to look back. Magnar. His hand worked his cock. Up and down in easy strokes. There was a bead of come on his tip. His eyes blazed. His jaw was tense. Up and down. She’d always found him to be even sexier when he touched himself like that.

Leukos groaned, his thrusts became more insistent. He made this noise that told her he was barely holding on. His hand tightened on her hips. He leaned forward slightly. Then he choked out a moan, jerking hard. She felt his come hit her deep inside.

“By the…by… Fuuuuuck!” he groaned, his face between her breasts as he turned into a coming, snarling mess.

“Pussy!” Magnar laughed as Leukos was coming down. “That was pathetic.”

Claire could hear he was teasing but she still worried about how Leukos would feel about it. He could be sensitive.

“I’m injured,” Leukos pushed out between hard pants. “Weak,” he added.

“Like fuck…you loved the hell out of Claire’s pussy on your cock and—”

  Don’t say it.

  Please.

Magnar snickered. “Watching me jerk off.”

“Arrogant as ever!” Leukos threw back.

Magnar sat down next to him, the mattress dipping. He opened his arms, his cock jutting from between his legs.

As if on cue, he smirked. “Good thing I’m here to take over.” His smirk turned into a grin. It was tight with need. “We’re a tag team.”

Leukos grunted in response, and then lifted her up. He was in the process of handing her over to Magnar when Magnar shook his head. “The other way around, sweets.”

“What?” she choked out, still wound in knots. Her belly still felt tight. Her clit throbbed.

“I want you facing the other way.” He scooted to the side of the bed, so that his ass was almost off the edge.

Claire stood up on shaky legs with Leukos’ help. She moved back. Magnar took her by the hips and helped her onto his lap. Her back to his chest.

“You’re sure I should face this way?” She sounded as unsure as she felt.

  “The reverse cowgirl,” Leukos muttered.

“I’m impressed.” Magnar chuckled. “Been reading?”

  “Googling.”

“I’m very sure, sweetheart…” Magnar assured her, then paused. “You have one hell of an ass.”

She couldn’t help the laugh that was pulled from her.

“Don’t you think so too, Leukos?”

“Absolutely.” He was still sitting next to Magnar, looking slightly dejected. Her heart bled a little for him.

Magnar chose that moment to lift her up and to thrust inside her. No holds barred. One hard thrust that took her breath away.

“Wet as fuck,” Magnar groaned. “Seconds can be fun too.” He grunted.

Claire wanted to laugh at how inappropriate he was, but she couldn’t, his cock was hitting every nerve inside her.

“Make…yourself…useful,” Magnar forced the words out as he continued to pound into her. It took a moment to realize that Magnar was talking to Leukos.

He kept thrusting into her. Hard and fast.

“Our female…has a clit,” Magnar grunted, “that needs licking.” Magnar kept up the pace. Claire moaned.

“What?” Leukos sounded unsure. “I can’t…I…what if I accidentally lick your balls?”

Magnar chuckled. She felt his chest vibrate against her back. Despite the gravitational pull, his balls slapped against her with every thrust. An inadvertent slip would be a distinct possibility if Leukos actually agreed to lick her clit. The little bundle of nerves did a happy dance at the prospect.

“Do it!” Magnar growled. “Our…female…” Grunt. “…needs you.”

“Fine.” Leukos sounded deadpan. “Only because I love the taste of her snatch.”

Claire looked down. Holy crap! Leukos went down on his knees between their splayed thighs. His abs popped as he did an inadvertent crunch. His shoulders were broad. His biceps thick. He leaned in, his eyes on where Magnar was fucking her. His cock pistoning in and out. He watched for a few long beats. Just the sight of him there had her moaning. Leukos leaned in and his hot tongue was against her.

  Oh!

  Oh!

  Oh!

She wasn’t sure if she was yelling the words or if they were just in her head. All she knew was that she was close. So. Very. Close. Leukos’ tongue was there. Magnar’s cock—

  Oh!

Then Magnar made a weird noise. Somewhere between a grunt and a strangled groan. His body tensed. His groaned intensified, his forehead pushed against her back. His body shuddered. She felt him coming inside her. The sensation almost sent her over the edge.

  Almost.

Leukos stopped tonguing her and she gave a moan of frustration.

“Jesus…fuck…Jeeesuuuus!” Magnar ground out…still shuddering. He finally stopped thrusting as hard. His breath came in pants against her back. “You got me.” He choked on the words. “You totally licked my nuts, Leukos.”

“Bullshit!” Leukos yelled, sounding angry. “I didn’t touch your balls.”

  Right then?

They were going to fight. Right then. Really?

She was vibrating with need. Two strapping shifters and she had yet to come. Not only that, they were about to fight one another.

Instead of fighting, they laughed. “I’m still erect,” Leukos announced. “This is great.” He looked her way. “Time to get on your knees, my love.”

“Tag team.” Magnar sounded like he was smiling.

“Tag team,” Leukos agreed. “I’m sure I’ll last this time,” he added.

“I’ll last longer than you,” Magnar rumbled.

“Not on your life.” Leukos thrust into her, gripping her hips. “It’s your turn to lick some clit.”

“Sounds delicious,” Magnar growled. He scooted underneath her then closed his mouth on her bundle of nerves. Hot and slightly rough. Leukos’ cock hit her sweet spot. The tightening finally let go. Like a dam wall breaking.

Claire didn’t just see stars, she saw whole planets. Whole solar systems. Whole constellations. She was a blubbering mess when she finally came down. Claire flopped down onto the bed, trying to catch her breath. It felt like she was going to pass out. Maybe she did and woke up, or she didn’t but was still out of it enough not to be so sure.

“Is our female asleep?” Leukos asked.

“What do you think? You’re closer,” Magnar said.

“I think so.” Leukos didn’t sound sure.

“Do you think our female will agree to mating us now?” Magnar sounded sheepish.

“The mounting wasn’t that good,” Leukos mumbled.

  Not.

  Good.

What? It had been amazing. Claire had never come that hard before.

“You’re right.” Magnar sounded put out. “We’ll have to practice some more. Before asking her.”

  Practice.

  More.

Claire loved the sound of that.

“I think so too.” Leukos sounded like he was deep in thought.

“By morning we’ll have the hang of it.” Magnar sounded much happier.

Leukos laughed. “We’ll have to wait and see. Tomorrow
morning isn’t that long away.”

“I know for a fact that we’ll be amazing by then, mark my words. We’ll be ready to…do it.”

  Do what?

“Okay, okay.” Leukos shifted his weight. “How should we go about doing it? Will we both go down on one knee or…”

“We should just do what feels natural in the moment.”

Leukos sighed. “I disagree, we should have a plan. We should even practice.”

“What? With one another?” Magnar snorted out a laugh.

“Why not? I don’t want to mess up.”

“You won’t,” Magnar said. Then he released a breath. “You can stop pretending to be asleep now, sweets.” He sounded like he was smiling.

  Crap!

Maybe she should pretend. She could fake-snore. Arghh! That wouldn’t work. Magnar would never buy it. She turned to face them.

“You mean you knew that Claire was awake the whole time?” Leukos sounded incredulous. He was frowning heavily.

“I suspected,” Magnar said, grinning. “What do you say, sweets? Will you mate us?”

“We haven’t practiced, and you can’t ask on my behalf as well.” Now Leukos looked pissed. His eyes blazed. They softened when he looked at her.

Claire swallowed thickly as their gazes locked.

Leukos went down on one knee. He took her hand. “Will you mate me…us?” He made a face of mock frustration. “Will you mate us, Claire?

She swallowed the lump down, hoping her voice would sound normal. “Don’t you think we should wait a little while to be sure? The two of you seem to fight all the time.”

“Nah…” Magnar grinned at Leukos. “We give each other shit.”

“Yeah, we give each other shit,” Leukos agreed, grinning right back. “We’re happy.” Magnar took her hand. “We hope you’re happy too.

“I am!” she gushed. So happy!

“Then mate us?” Leukos asked, his eyes pleading.

  Claire nodded once.

  “Yes?” Magnar asked.

  “Are you agreeing?” Leukos asked.

  She nodded again. “Yes.”

They both put their arms around her. “I’ll treasure you, Claire, as long as you live.”

Magnar’s arms tightened. “I’ll treasure you more,” he said simply. “Let me prove it to you.” Magnar lay her on her back, pulling her legs up.

“My turn next,” Leukos promised. “May the best man win.”

She couldn’t help but think that maybe she was the one who had won. Big time. Double time.

“You’re not going to like it, sire.” Kwan stepped closer into the circle of flickering candlelight.

“Out with it.” he urged, needing to know. He could guess. Ekon hoped he was wrong. By the grave look in Kwan’s eyes, he knew it was bad.

Ekon inclined his head, urging him to continue. “My spies tell me that the three of them are to be mated…and soon.”

  “When?” his voice boomed.

  “In three days’ time.”

  “So soon?” Ekon snarled.

  “I’m afraid so.” Kwan nodded.

“It’s an abomination,” he barked. “Did you have a look in the book of lores? Two males and one female…it can’t be legal!”

Kwan looked hesitant to answer. “I found nothing.” He finally said, head bowed.

Ekon closed his hand into a fist and smashed it into the wood of the table. It splintered, cracking right through the center and falling to the ground in a pile of tinder. Then he pulled in a deep breath. “I just have to go to plan-B then.”

“What is plan-B, my lord?” Kwan looked skeptical.

“Simple, I will take their first-born chicks. Take Leukos’ heir. Whoever has the heir is king, right?”

Kwan looked flustered. “I’m not sure the rules were meant to be interpreted in that way.”

“Nonsense!” Ekon spat. “I’m not sure why I never thought of it earlier, it could have saved a ton of heart ache.”

“As always, you are wise beyond compare.”

He could see that the male was still skeptical. “Don’t look so worried, Kwan. What could go wrong?”

Guess what? I have a new series on pre-order. Lord of Fire will release early next year.

  Chapter 1

  She should be happy.

What was she thinking? She was happy.

Happy, excited and nervous all rolled into one. Nervous? Hah! She was quaking in her heels. This was a huge risk. Especially now. Her stomach clenched and for a second she wanted to turn around and head back into her boss’s office. Tell him she’d changed her mind.

  No.

She would regret it if she didn’t take this opportunity. Why now though? Why had this fallen into her lap now? What if it didn’t work out? She squeezed her eyes clos
ed as her stomach lurched again.

“You okay?” Rob’s PA asked, eyebrows raised.

Jolene realized she was standing outside her boss’s office, practically mid-step. Hovering.

“Fine.” She pushed out the word together with a pent-up breath. She was fine, she realized. More than fine, and she had this. The decision was already made. Her leave approved. She was doing this, dammit. Jolene smiled. “I’m great.”

“Good.” Amy smiled back. “Just so you know,” she said under her breath, looking around them to check that no-one was in hearing distance, “I’m rooting for you.” She winked.

“Thank you. I appreciate that,” Jolene said as she headed back to her office, trying not to think about it. Not right now. It would make her doubt her decision all over again. She’d made the right one. The only thing holding her back was fear of failure. It was justifiable and yet stupid. She wasn’t going to live with regrets because fear held her back. She was going to embrace this. Give it her all and then some. Her step suddenly felt lighter as she walked into her office. Do not look left. Whoever designed this building had been a fruitcake. This floor was large and open-plan. Fifty-three cubicles. There were only two offices. One was hers, and one was— Not looking or thinking about her right now. Both offices had glass instead of walls. Why bother? Why even give her an office in the first place if everyone could see into it?

It had something to do with bringing management closer to their staff, or the other way round ‒ she couldn’t remember. The Execs were on the next floor. Not going there and definitely not looking left. She could feel a prickling sensation on that side of her body. Like she was being watched. Jolene sat down at her desk and opened her laptop. Her accepted leave form was already in her inbox. She had to work hard not to smile. It was better to stay impassive. Especially when anyone could look in on her. This was going to work out. It would. All of it.

  No more blind dates.

  No more Tinder.

No more friends setting her up.
