What is your name? Olivia Starke
Tell us about yourself. I am a multi-published author and all around book worm. I am also ‘Mom’ to a menagerie of dogs, cats, and horses.
What do you write? Paranormal erotic romance, though I’ve dabbled in fantasy as well.
Why do you write it? To get out of the daily stresses of retail management and exercise my brain. I’ve always had a vivid imagination so it came naturally to me to write paranormal. It’s fun to manipulate the laws of nature. As far as the erotic part goes, I’m pretty open and I’ll talk frankly with anyone about anything. I live in an extremely conservative area so it could be my rebellious side acting out.
Do you have any past or current releases? I have 8 releases currently.
Tell us about them. I have 4 vampire releases in my own Order of Terminus series Blood Ties, Blood Heat, Blood Desires, and Blood Mercy. a paranormal suspense (my first release) titled Mind Games, a fantasy called A Sorcerer’s Pleasure, and my contribution to Decadent’s One Night Stand series titled Familiar Desires.
Who is publishing them? Familiar Desires is available at Decadent Publishing, the rest at Cobblestone Press.
Where is your favorite place to write? On my couch with my laptop.
What do you listen to when you write? The T.V. I can’t write when it’s quiet, I can hear the ringing in my ears. It’s annoying lol
How long have you been writing? Since I was a little girl. My first romance was a story between a Pegasus and a unicorn when I was 11. I still plan on re-writing it and epublishing it someday.
If you could be any mythological creature, what would it be and why? A Pegasus! I love horses and I can fly, I mean how awesome would that be???
What is your guilty pleasure food? Sour gummy worms
