Matthew Renard was born in 1981 in the UK, where he currently resides with his wife, and their dogs and cats. He graduated from the University of Hertfordshire with First Class Joint Honours in English Literature and Creative Writing, and puts this degree to occasional good use as a teacher. An avid gamer and 80s Science Fiction aficionado, in his spare time Renard can often be found watching old movies and TV shows for nostalgia, or running from Zombies.
