Dust Page 26

by J R Devoe

A special thanks goes out to Brigid Devoe, for everything from impromptu author photo shoots during rain storms, to helping me decide which combination of words would best summarize my story.

And for Leon Devoe, for showing me the light back when I’d be staring into darkness for too long.

Many aspiring authors have to face not only doubt from themselves, but also from their family and friends. As evidenced by the paragraphs above, I am not among those writers. Everyone in my life has offered me unwavering support in my pursuit of this dream, and for that I am eternally grateful.

  ABOUT THE AUTHOR

  J. R. Devoe grew up on Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia, in the town of Sydney Mines. He has since traveled to six continents—including Antarctica in 2013 to research elements of his debut release, “Onero’s Hunt”. He enjoys folk music, pizza, and the occasional cross-country bicycle ride.
