Temorvick stared into his crystal ball. His evil red eyes were fixed on the image of Alexia rushing out of a bustling hospital. She looked anxious. Temorvick had just watched her heal Price. A dark red tongue slithered in and out of his mouth nervously.

An army of shades stood behind him lifelessly. A man completely covered in dark clothing stood in front of the shades. Temorvick turned to him. “Why hasn’t she been apprehended yet?” His severe voice bellowed out.

“We’re working on that,” the man said.

  “What are you waiting for?”

“I didn’t know whether she had backup.”

“She’s all alone. Stop putting it off,” Temorvick growled.

“At once, sir.” The man bowed to Temorvick and swiftly left the room.

Temorvick rose from his chair and stalked into the next room which was just as dark as the previous one. This room had a giant tank in the middle of the room that contained an unconscious black creature that looked like an enormous rat crossed with a lizard. Its head was narrow with pointy ears, it had four strong legs, and it had a long body and tail that seemed to be covered in razor sharp skin. Parts of its skin was see-through, showing skeleton, making it look like it wasn’t fully formed yet.

Dirty, ruddy water surrounded the creature, keeping it floating in the center of the tank. Tubes were inserted into the creature’s body and a plastic face mask was covering its mouth and nose.

“How is it coming along?” Temorvick said as he inspected the tank. A worker turned to look at him. The worker resembled a female human but had gray skin, small slits for eyes and long sharp claws. “We should be ready by the time you’ve taken over Earth.” She reported happily.

  “Excellent.”

“We’ll need the charged liquid from the blood petal soon. Is it safe?”

“I have it in my quarters.”

“I’m still very impressed that you managed to get a Sian to charge it,” the worker hissed.

“It was easy. This Sian knew nothing about her powers.”

“I’ll let you know when we’re ready for the liquid.”

“Keep up the good work.” Temorvick left the room feeling satisfied. His plan was going exactly as he wanted.
