“God, Jacey, that tongue of yours and the magic it performs while my dick is wrapped in your lips,” he groans out. Loving the urgings in his tone for a quick release, I remove him from my mouth with a pop as saliva trails down my chin. I stick my tongue out and flatten it as I once again lick him from root to tip. I want to draw the magic of his impending orgasm out for as long as I can. I want to show him what he does to me when he plays and takes his time bringing me to the edge of a cliff and then backing off. “Jacey.” This time, the groan that leaves him is one of utter frustration and I smile around his shaft as I once again push him as deep as I can down my throat. I’m able to bob my head up and down a few times before I find his hands underneath the pits of my arms as he lifts me up. I wrap my legs around his waist as his lips slam down onto mine.

I rip my mouth from his and issue a dramatic pout on my face as I proclaim, “I wasn’t finished.”

“I don’t want to shoot my cum down your throat, Jacey. I want to line your inner walls and paint your insides with my release.” He doesn’t let me reply. Instead, he sips on my lips as he lazily pulls them into his mouth and nibbles on them as he walks us out of the bathroom and over to the bedroom. Lost in him, the cool mattress takes me by surprise as he lays me down and covers my body with his own. My body is shocked with awareness as his hardened dick finds purchase and then begins to slide up and down, through my slickened slit. He’s coating himself with my arousal, and for some reason, this makes my libido race as anticipation climbs higher through my senses. “I love you, Jacey,” he states with love shining in his eyes as he invades my sensitive and eager passage.

My back bows upon his entry and I toss my head back, buried deeply into my pillow. “Yes,” I purr out in elation as I feel myself internally stretching to make room for his wide girth and extended length. My man fills me to capacity. Just a hitch of pain accompanies the pleasure as he pummels his way in and out of me. The shifting and swivel of his hips ignites my wildest fantasies. My hands reach around him and my nails embed themselves into his glutes. “Harder, faster,” I pant out, needing him to lose control and give me the highest gratifications known to a woman.

He lifts up on his knees and tilts my pelvis as he brings my feet up to his neck. I cross my ankles behind him as his hands grab my hips. “Is this what you want, Jacey? You want me to fill you up? You want me to steal the breath from your lungs as I fuck you hard and deep?”

“Yes. God, yes!” I shout out as he takes me to the point of pain before decadence sweeps through me. He pursues my inner vixen and calls upon my hidden siren. I want him to feel every ounce of delight he’s showing me.

I’m mesmerized by the sight of him as he throws his head back and melodious tones of ecstasy stream from his mouth. We’re making our own brand of music as I join him. Soon, the room is filled with our pleasured words and the slapping of our skin. He reaches his thumb down to my extended clit. As soon as he applies the slightest pressure to my button, stars dance behind my eyes and I lose all consciousness of the world surrounding me. When my brain comes back online, I find that I’m lying on top of his chest as it heaves up and down as he attempts to slow things down and catch his breath.

When he finds his oxygen inflating his lungs once again, he says the sweetest words I’ve ever heard. “You’ve brought color back into my life, Jace. When you left, everything around me turned to black and white, no shades of gray and no brightness could be seen by me. I’ve found that my life has meaning once again. I’m not canoeing my way down a river filled with shit. Now, everything is clear water. A beautiful, blue sky surrounds my being. I could swim and drink all of the love and not poison my lungs and body with filth. There are no words yet written for me to compose a sonnet that will describe the way you make me feel. The joy and laughter you and Hadley bring to my life is indescribable. I can’t do this thing called life without you by my side. Thank you for giving me a second chance and loving me enough to let me slide my ring on your finger. I promise you, from now until the end of our time together, I will do everything in my power to make sure you never feel like a third-wheel and as if you’re not the most important person in my life.”

“Rayne,” I sob out as his beautiful words invade my mind. I’m not able to compose such heart-filled words like he does, but I show him with my body and actions how he affects me. Leaning over him, I gently place my lips on his as the salty tears freely flow from my orbs. I don’t hide anything from him, letting all of my emotions freely flow for him to observe. “I love you too, Rayne,” I express as we stare into one another’s eyes for a brief amount of time. Our hands begin to explore one another’s bodies before we lose ourselves in a night filled with passion.

“Dash, you’ve outdone yourself with this dress,” I say to my friend as I admire myself in the long mirror. Today is my wedding day, and I feel like a fairy-tale princess in the dress that Dash tailored, designed and handcrafted for me. My makeup is perfection and my hair has been professionally done by a stylist Rayne surprised me with this morning. He’s always thinking of me and one step ahead of me. I had planned on doing my own, but this made today much more special for me than it already is.

Hadley is twirling behind me as she too admires herself in the mirrored reflection shining back at her. Dash outdid himself with her attire as well. It’s a mini version of my wedding dress, only designed in a more childlike appropriate pattern. It’s in a dark maroon color which blends perfectly with her skin’s pallor. She too had her hair done and is wearing lip gloss on her lips that made her day that much more spectacular in her eyes.

“Mommy, we’s is so pretty in our fancy dresses,” she jubilantly expresses as she makes kissy faces at herself in the mirror.

“Breathtaking,” Dash informs her as his eyes brighten in excitement from seeing us wearing his designs. He’s always been prideful in his work, but it’s different when your friends and family are cloaked in your blood, sweat and tears.

Knowing that life will be peaceful for my little family from this day forward is also a relief with all the stress removed from my shoulders. Yesterday, Jameson was institutionalized and will be there for a long time to come. He will be under the watchful eye of guards and a psychologist; there is no set release day in his future. My kids will grow up without fear looming over them. I know that Rayne and I can breathe a little easier with that problem out of the way.

“It’s time.” My dad rushes in and places a kiss on my cheek as his eyes begin to water. “You’re so beautiful, my sweet girl.”

“What about me, Papa D? Am I beautifuls too?” Hadley inquires as she flares her dress out to her sides, clutched in her tiny hands as she expands it further out so my father can see all the gloriousness of her dress.

“Stunning,” my father tells her as a smile gracefully, and merrily encompasses her lips.

“Come on, Hads. Your time to shine is coming up,” Dash informs her as he hands her the flower basket that she picked out. It’s filled with fake petals that match the colors we’ve chosen to perfection.

“Remember what we practiced, Hadley,” I remind her as she makes her way with her uncle Dash to the door.

“I wills Momma,” she says back as she exits the door.

“Are you ready for this, baby girl?” Dad inquires.

“I’ve been ready for this my entire life,” I respond with a tip of giddiness gliding out of my mouth.

“Then let’s get you down that aisle to your man so you two can promise forever to one another.”

  Rayne

I anxiously watch as my sisters make their way down the path that will have them standing at Jacey’s side as we share our words and vows with one another. What has me a little off-balance is the way my sister Justine’s eyes seek out Sebastian as he returns the longing stare. Have I missed something while I was putting the pieces of my family back in order? I’ll have to keep my eye on those two. Not that I want to forbid my sister from finding her own brand of happil
y ever after, but I’m not positive that Sebastian is the best bet for that outcome. He’s much older than she is and has more life experience under his belt than she does.

Justine never looks at a glass as half-empty. She always envisions it as half-full and never worries about if the contents are going to spill over. Not that she’s naïve or anything, she just doesn’t ever see the potential disaster this could spell out for her and the band’s future if things go awry.

I happen to notice Hadley making her way to the end of the aisle. She’s tossing petals here and there without a care in the world of where they end up. The crowd chuckles and I join in with the chorus. This girl wrapped herself around my heart and has strangled it with my unwavering devotion. Only a father could love his daughter to the depths that I do where it pertains to my daughter. Hopefully, the only one my woman hatches.

As soon as the wedding march commences, all thoughts of Hadley, my baby sister and her potential love interest flies out of my head. The beauty that is making her way to me is a thing filled with fantasy. This woman is my world—she’s brought out the best of me and makes me strive harder to be a better man.

I may not be Prince Charming, but I will love her and cherish her, with not only my heart, but my soul as well. This is my future, the path that I should’ve taken so long ago. Never again will anyone tell me how to live my life and who should and shouldn’t be aware of the woman I love with every breath I take. I will never again allow her to feel hurt by decisions others decide are in my best interest.

As her father places her hand in mine and admits to the minister that he and her mother will give her to me to protect for the rest of our days, I stare into her eyes, promising her everything.

Our vows are exchanged and there isn’t a dry eye to be found in the church. When we’re pronounced as husband and wife, I dip Jacey and plant an earth-shattering kiss upon her lips.

  “Forever,” I promise her.

“Until we draw our last breath,” she replies with tears shining in her eyes.

The reception seems to go on for days as we share pleasantries with our guests. All I want to do is usher her to our hotel and have my wicked way with her. As we dance, my hand lands on the small swell of her belly. My eyes begin to mist as thoughts of holding this baby in my arms and welcoming him or her into the world are at the forefront of my mind.

As the last song is announced, I hesitantly release her into her father’s arms for one last dance. Her mother comes up to me and I swoop her into my arms as I glide the two of us around the floor.

The night finally concludes and as I help my wife into the limousine that will take us to our final destination of the evening, I look over my shoulder and feel the wrapping embrace of my family as they send looks of pride and elation to me. I nod my head and climb in behind her.

This, this right here—this is what life should be filled with. I will never kick the gift of happiness to the rear. I’ve never experienced the emotions I’m feeling right now, and I never want to let them go. I will strive each and every day to be the rock that Jacey needs and the glue that holds our children to us. I will be the man that they need, and I can’t wait to see what life will bring to our doorstep.

  Epilogue

  Jacey

I laugh as Rayne tries to break up a fight between Hadley and Lyric, our four-year-old daughter and one-year-old son.

“Hadley, he doesn’t understand,” Rayne attempts to reason with her.

“He’s eating Annabelle! She’s not a chew toy!” she screams out in anguish.

About six months ago, she stopped adding an ‘S’ to the end of her words.

“This is fucking ridiculous!” Have I mentioned that those S’s have been replaced by curse words?

We have Billie to thank for this newly developed vocabulary. She idolizes her aunts, but she and Billie have a special bond. Hadley wants to be just like Billie when she grows up.

“Hadley Nicole! Choose your words wisely,” Rayne admonishes her.

“What the fuck ever!” she growls as she stomps her foot.

“Fuck my life,” I hear Rayne mutter.

“If you can say it, so can I. Right, Momma?” she asks as she looks over at me. Busted! Rayne had no idea I was standing here.

“A little help here, Jacey.” He narrows his eyes into slits as he says this to me.

“You’re doing just fine, honey,” I humorously reply.

“You’ll pay for this later,” Rayne growls.

“Looking forward to it.” I send him a wink as I leave the room with laughter following in my wake. My life is perfect!

  The End

Here’s a little snippet of book 2. Look for it to be released on 12/01/20 from Author Darlene Tallman. The book will be titled Desire and it will be Justine and Sebastian’s story. Who doesn’t like a little older man/younger woman romance? I personally can’t wait to read what she has in store for these two lovebirds.

  Justine

He’s been a part of our lives, my life, for so long now, that I can’t imagine life without him. Being older than me may be a deterrent in his eyes, but I know he’s interested so I need to push the issue. As my hands glide over my keyboards, I lose myself in the music. Since Rayne and Jacey have reunited, the songs he’s been writing have caused my own creative juices to flow.

“That sounds good, is it new?” His voice washes over me like that first sip of an ice-cold Coke and I have to hold back my full-body shiver.

“Just goofing off,” I reply, looking up at him. He’s been rocking the salt and pepper look for years but the fact that he now has a beard that frames his full lips has my libido ramping up.

“Well, I like it,” he states, coming to stand next to me. I watch as his hand reaches out to tuck a loose curl behind my ear. “You okay, Justine? You’ve been a bit quiet lately. Need to check on my number one girl and make sure she’s alright.”

“You say that to all of us, Sebastian,” I reply. “We’re all your number one girl, remember?”

He chuckles and the sound once again has my body on edge. “You’ve got me there, but seriously, are you okay? Anything I can help you with?”

I take a deep breath. Then another one. In all the years since he discovered us, I’ve never seen him with a woman, but that doesn’t mean there isn’t one who he keeps away from the madness that is our world. Finally deciding that honesty is the best way to go, I capture his gaze with mine and say, “I’m feeling lonely, especially since Rayne and Jacey are together again. This life doesn’t really lend itself to relationships unless the other person is in the industry as well, but no one we know even remotely interests me.”

His eyes widen at my admission and I see an expression cross his face I wasn’t expecting.

  Desire.

“I know what you mean. Anyone I’ve dated couldn’t handle all the women at the concerts and regardless of the fact that I’d never cheat on someone, their accusations of that very thing make it difficult for me as well,” he states.

“I don’t think I’ve ever seen you with anyone,” I confess. “I mean, not that it’s any of my business,” I rush out, my face heating in embarrassment.

“I’ve dated from time to time, but no one measures up to the one I can never have,” he admits.

“Why can’t you?” I ask, my curiosity roused. While he isn’t our manager, he did discover us, so he’s part of our entourage. Hell, I was still a gangly young woman when he swooped in after hearing us play at a local event. Braces were my nemesis and I went nearly two years without smiling, something that he took personally because he would tell me stupid jokes just to get me to laugh.

“Because her brother would kill me,” he replies.

  Sebastian

&nb
sp; When I first met Justine Wilde, she was almost twenty and far too young for me, since I was fast approaching thirty at the time. And no, I never looked at her like that until she came into her own when she hit twenty-one. I remember a shy, pretty teen who never smiled because she was worried about what people would say about her braces. Watching her come into her own has been hard because ever since she hit adulthood, I’ve been attracted to her.

The faceless, nameless women I’ve wined, dined and bedded can’t hold a candle to her. Only… Rayne would kill me. He’d draw and quarter me, then leave my body out in some desert to be eaten by predators. After he covered me in honey and fire ants, that is. He’s fiercely protective of his sisters, as he should be, but I’d never hurt her.

“I’m sure if you talked to him, he’d understand, Sebastian.” Her melodious voice washes through me and I feel my body reacting.

“Kind of like my nose the way it is, Jussie,” I tease, calling her by the nickname I gave her years ago.

“You haven’t called me that in years!” she exclaims, her eyes lighting up.

“You’ll always be my Jussie,” I vow. Even if it’s never the way I want her to be, she’s always going to have a piece of my heart. Deciding enough is enough, I take the bull by the horns and ask, “Do you want to have dinner with me? Just the two of us?” I’m sure I can find a plastic surgeon to fix the damage my nose will undoubtedly sustain when Rayne finds out.
