"You better do! I will not let you off!" She warned, making him laugh. "I need to return to the party before people start asking where I went. Take care Nat!" She said before hanging up.

Putting the phone back on the floor beside him, he was thinking about the event which had transpired last night, trying to see if he could have made better choices. That was the definition of life. Think, act, make mistakes and do better. Nathaniel was trying to apply that very concept.

He had already destroyed all of the clothes that he had worn last night. Even if he did not think the investigation was going to go in his direction, it was always a good course of action to hope for the best but prepare for the worst. One of the reasons Marc survived this long was because he always prepared for everything. He died only because he was not prepared to be abandoned by his own country in the end. Everyone had a weak spot, for Marc, it was his patriotism.

Thirty minutes had passed since Madison had hung up when he heard his mother calling him.

"Nathaniel? Can you please come here." Mary shouted.

  "Coming mom!" He shouted back.

Getting up from his seated position, he was shirtless, wearing only blue sweatpants with white socks. He had no habit of wandering around shirtless even in his home but earlier today he had made several rounds of push ups and agility exercises making him sweat so much that he had taken his shirt off.

Leaving his room, he could see that Mary was in the entrance of the penthouse. Coming over, he saw that the door of their home was open and Karine was outside talking with a brunette. Standing beside Mary, he arched an eyebrow to ask what was going on. Turning around and seeing her son was there, Karine started to smirk quickly followed by his other mother. Nathaniel was starting to have a bad presentiment.

"Ah sweetie, you are here. This young woman here claims to know you." She said with a smile, moving to the side to show the girl in question.

The girl was a very hot brunette with long hair, she had a pretty face with gorgeous green eyes. She was around 5"6" and was wearing a skimpy black dress going to the middle of her legs and high red heels finishing her attire. The girl was drop dead gorgeous and Nathaniel knew who she was. He knew her very well in fact.

"Madison? Why are you here?" He asked, surprised.

Madison did not seem to have heard him and was looking at his body with her mouth slightly open. She had never seen him shirtless and the sight was something to behold. She never thought that Nathaniel was that muscular as she always felt some geeky vibes coming from him. Looking at the girl who was frozen looking at their son, Mary turned her head to the side, hiding a laugh while Karine put a hand on her shoulder, shaking her out of her trance.

"Madison is it? I believe the eyes of my son are a little higher than that." Karine said playfully, making Madison turn red.

"Ah uh yes! What did you say?"

"I was asking why you were here and not in your house sorority party." Nathaniel repeated.

"The party was kind of lame so I prefered to come here instead."

"The starting quarterback is still trying to nail you?" Nathaniel laughed.

"Yeah, it's starting to get annoying." She sighed.

  "Come on in." Nathaniel invited.

Letting her enter his home, he began to lead her inside of his room. He could see that she was looking at his home with attention but not with awe. Madison came from a rich family so it was not that surprising that she could look at the huge penthouse without much of a reaction. Nathaniel was going to close the door to his room when the voice of Mary was heard.

"Nathaniel please put a shirt on and keep it civil in there. I don't want to enter the room and see something that I could never forget."

Hearing that, even Nathaniel could not hold back a blush. Passing his head through the still open door, he looked at his mother with an aggravated expression on his face.

  "Really mom?" He asked.

The only answer that he received was an echo of laughter. Shaking his head, he finally closed the door and put a shirt on which was nearby. Madison had already seated herself on his bed, her purse on the carpet. She was watching him put a shirt on with a sad expression on her face, making him laugh.

  "Sorry, the show is over."

"Just for that, it was worth it to take a cab over here. You hide yourself well, I would never have thought that you were this ripped."

"Yes, I don't like to show off my body but I work hard enough to be in good shape."

"Good enough shape." She snorted. "You are more muscular than the quarterback of our school."

"What's up with him by the way? He can't take no for an answer?"

"He hooked up with two of my sisters while he was chasing me and the more I turned him down, the more he wanted me. It's starting to get grating. I know that he had sex with my sorority sisters just to get me jealous but I don't care at all. He is just proving that he is not the kind of man I want."

"And what is the style of man you want then?" He asked, sitting beside her on the bed.

"I want you Nath." She said locking eyes with him, a hint of vulnerability showing in them.

Hearing that, Nathaniel completely froze. He had not expected things going in that direction at all.

  "Madie..." He tried.

"I know you want to take things slow but I want to be with you Nath." She confessed, taking his hand in hers.

"This is not that simple Madie. First of all, I'm sixteen and you are twenty, this is not a small age difference."

"Come on, you know I don't care about that. Moreover you are looking more like an eighteen or nineteen old and you have the demeanor of an old man. It hardly matters!"

"Wait! You are saying I'm old now?" He asked laughing.

"No, of course not. Just you are more mature and composed than a lot of our pears that I talk to. Stop laughing! This is serious!" She exclaimed, hitting him on the shoulder.

"Ok I'll be serious, stop hitting me! Tell me what you want." He asked, making a show of massaging his shoulder.

"I want nothing serious. Just be together and enjoy each other's company and if one of us wants to stop for any reason just tell the other, but I want to be exclusive."

"I can agree with that but what about your family? What about your sorority sisters? What about my…." He was questioning her until he could not speak anymore, because she was kissing him.

  Chapter 73: :

Nathaniel could have stopped her multiple times when she was closing in on him but he did not. Even he was not sure why at that moment. Maybe it was because his emotional state was in turmoil after what happened last night and he wanted some affection. Maybe it was because he really liked her, but most likely it was the both combined.

At first he did not do anything as he was too surprised to react but her passion soon got him moving along and he began responding to it. Putting his hands on her hips, he started taking her to him while she was putting her arms on each side of his head. The kiss began to deepen when Nathaniel's brain started to work again and he separated with her.

"Madie, stop… we need to talk about this." Nathaniel said, taking her shoulder and keeping her at arm's length.

"No, we really do not. I want you and I know you want me so what is there to talk about?" She asked with a hungry look in her eyes.

"But… I worked out earlier and I'm still smelly."

"You smell great Nath so if that's all, kiss me again please."

"No, I want the answer to an important question first."

"What is it?" She asked, calming a little when hearing him saying something so serious.

"Do you like pizza?" He asked seriously.

  "What?" Madison asked dumbfounded.

  "Pizza, do you like them?"

"Yes, of course I do. My favorite is the one with pineapple."

Hearing that, Nathaniel seemed to ponder her words, his face contorted in a grimace until he finally told his opinion on the matter.

"I can work with that." He decided, ta
king her hips in his hand he threw her on his bed and a second later he was on her, his mouth on hers.

An hour and a half of making out later, they had finally left his bed. Madison was busy fixing the position of her dress and her hair while Nathaniel was putting on jeans and a shirt. The show was not lost on Madison who was looking at him still with hungry eyes. Their making out session did nothing to calm her, on the contrary. They had kissed until Nathaniel ended up shirtless beneath her and the top of her dress came undone, showing her lacy red bra when he had finally put a stop to it. The two of them were breathless and hot.

Even if she was frustrated by this outcome, she could see that it was for the better. With his mother on the other side of the wall, she would have to stop thinking about continuing further than that eventually. Normally she was not that forward but with Nathaniel it was completely out of her control. He had a magnetism and even a scent that drove her crazy and even now she had to stop herself from tearing his clothes off. She was used to her boyfriend having that feeling but now that the roles were reversed she was lost in what to do.

Once Nathaniel was dressed, he was hugged by Madison at once which made him smile.

"I don't want to leave." She confessed in a small voice.

"I dont want you to leave too but this is for the better. Come on, I'm escorting you home." He comforted her.

  "Really?"

"Of course, let's get going. We need to face the music now." He said.

Disentangling himself from her and opening the door of his room, he exited it, Madison quickly following behind. His two mothers were sitting on the couch and were watching a movie when they saw them leaving the room. Looking at each other smiling, they got up from the couch and made a show of looking at both of them with rapt attention.

"We behaved ourselves moms." He said right out of the bat. Looking at their smile, he knew he had made a mistake.

"Really sweet? Then why are both of you blushing? I can not help to notice that the hair of Madison is quite disheveled as well." Mary said.

"You also have lipstick on your mouth and neck and I believe the mark of a bite on the right side. Well, I didn't take you as a biter Madison." Karine continued.

At that point Madison wanted nothing more than to be swallowed into the ground and Nathaniel was blushing so fiercely that he was ready to catch fire at any moment. Taking Madisons hand in his, he started dragging her across the penthouse until they were leaving it. Just before the door closed, he shouted back at them.

"I'm going to escort Madison back home, I'm coming right back after that, bye moms."

After that, he kept running with her until they were out of the building, both of them laughing. They were walking on the street hand in hand for a moment before Madison started speaking again.

"I understand where you picked up your playful nature from, your moms are quite something. I also understand why you are so respectful when you look at me and my sorority sisters. Your mothers are completely gorgeous."

"That they are but do not be fooled, they are sweet in private but they are beasts when working. They both have quite a reputation in their workplace."

They kept talking with each other, ignoring everything else as they were lost in their own little world until they ended up in front of the sorority house where the party was still raging. Even Nathaniel who had a keen awareness of his surroundings was surprised to be here that early. He knew it was a twenty minutes walk and for him only five minutes had passed since leaving his home.

"Are you sure you do not want to come into my room?" Madison asked another time, putting her arms around his head.

"You know I want to but not yet." He said kissing her which she responded happily, kissing him back.

"How can you be so good at kissing, you are supposed to be inexperienced in this." She sighed dreamily.

Nathaniel did not respond at that and just smiled at her. In fact he was doing his utmost to hide how skilled he was at kissing because it would cause her to second guess him. Looking behind her, he could see that their arrival had gathered a few stares, two of which were the best friends of Madison, Hayley and Emma.

"I believe you are going to need to explain yourself Madie." He said, designating her friends with a move of his head.

"I believe you are right. Stay with me and I will make it worth your while." She said a last time, with a big smile.

"I will not fall for your trick little devil. Go see your sisters and tell them all of what we did tonight, make them jealous." He said, kissing her again.

"You know I will." She added, kissing him a few times more.

"Goodnight my little devil, sleep well." Nathaniel ended with a peck on her forehead.

Coming home, he was welcomed by his two mothers who were waiting beside the door. Seeing their curious and excited face, Nathaniel could not restrain a laugh from coming out of his mouth. Sitting on his piano chair, he made a hand movement to get his mothers to start asking the question that they wanted to ask.

"It was the Madison who had given you her number on the back of the flyer, right?"

"Wow she is so pretty, she could be a model."

"Yes this is that Madison and yes she's gorgeous. She did some modeling as a matter of fact."

"I'm not really surprised. So sorority girl hum? I told you so." Karine said happily.

Nathaniel could only shake his head. He knew that 'told you so' was going to be brought up in this conversation.

  Chapter 74: :

New York, FBI Building. 12/10/2012. 14:45.

Tom Sarland and his five top agents were meeting in a conference room on the 25th floor. Since the attack took place friday night, it was pretty much all hands on deck and they were still working on it on sunday. All of the agents around the table could be found with dark circles under their eyes, proof that they did not get much sleep since Friday night.

"What is the status of the wounded people who have been taken to the hospital?" Agent in charge Sarland asked.

"The ten lightly wounded are recuperating well, four of whom have already been sent home. Of the critical wounded the final account is not that good. From the six, two have died from the gravity of their injuries. One was a trader who had been hit in the crossfire between NYPD and the attackers, the other was a cop. He left behind two young daughters and a widow. The press is already on it." Agent Williams answered with a grimace.

"The NYPD is not going to take it well to have lost another officer."

"You are right, they already started turning upside down the whole island. So far they have found nothing, it was useful however in freezing the drug trafficking. Some have started to blame it on us." Agent Canis added.

"So basically nothing new. Do we have a complete report of what happened in the hotel?" Tom Sarland asked.

"Yes sir, at 23:06 friday night, the two security guards of the Kim family who were guarding the back door were killed by throwing knives to their throats. Following that six perp entered the building splitting into teams of three. One neutralized the power of the building while the second was breaking into the pc security of the hotel. They killed the two security guards using their swords and destroyed all the equipment there. Once done, they gathered up again and attacked the four security guards of the Kim family that were guarding the lobby." Agent Williams said, taking a pause to drink water.

"Now we are going to talk about the two Lyndon bodyguards. They were in a black sedan surveilling the back door when they saw the attack, they immediately called 911 and entered the building after gearing up. They managed to hit the six attackers on the flanc when the first patrol arrived on the scene. The two of them succeed in killing two of the attackers before getting injured when the ex-legionaries Jean Martin jumped in front of a child to protect her. Even injured, they continued to pin down the attackers until the NYPD finally overwhelmed them."

"What is the status of the two Lyndon bodyguards now?" Sarland asked, truth be told he was quite impressed with the
two men.

"They left the hospital saturday morning without any problems. Jean Martin took a knife to the shoulder and left after being stitched up. Amal Rockéa was diagnosed with two cracked ribs after taking a bullet in his kevlar vest. They both refused to take painkiller drugs. Those two guys are badass." Agent Williams finished his report with a hint of respect in his voice.

"Now, Coffen did you check with the DOD if the two of them really have the authorization to carry and use military grade weapons?"

"Yes sir, they did. No idea how they got it approved however." Agent Coffen answered.

"Money Coffen, money. Their employer has a lot of it. Now that the easy part of the attack has been cleared out, can anyone give an explanation about what happened on the tenth and twelfth floor?"

The four agents started to look at each other for help until Williams cleared his throat.

"The evidence so far hinted that the 6 attackers were taken out by only one person."

"You are telling me that one guy took out the six alone when a dozen NYPD officers plus two ex special forces had a hard time taking out only four?"

"The evidence indicates that this was the case. The unknown person took one out from behind, crushing his trachea and snapping his neck. Ballistics show that the bullets were coming from the same gun but we didn't manage to find it at the Hotel. That unknown attacker used six bullets to kill five men. Five shots in the head and one in the heart. That level of mastery and accuracy is not something you can obtain in a shooting range. We are looking for a black ops."

"And where the fu** did this black ops guy come from? Do we have any evidence to find out who it is?"

"So far we found nothing, it's like he's a ghost. No fabric, no DNA and no murder weapon were left behind, it's going to be next to impossible to find out who our mystery guy is."

"What about the body of the twelve assassins, did the coroner find anything?"

"Nothing, except that they were all south korean. They have no record in any database and their fingertips have been burned. The only thing that the coroner found was a lot of scars on them. Whoever trained them, it was brutal and ruthless training." Williams added.
