Her words came out in a breathless manner, and he already knew what that meant. “I’ma eat that pussy up. Don’t even worry,” he reassured her before soothingly rubbing up and down her back. Her skin was so soft, he couldn’t help but touch on her.
Hours, a few drinks, and a blunt later, the couple had returned home. As promised, Lano kept his word and had his head buried deep between her chocolate thighs. Spread eagle on their couch, Anika’s head was swimming. She wasn’t sure if it was because of the drinks or the tongue lashing her man was giving her, but she was losing her mind.
“Ooooh, shit. Yes! Yes! Eat this pussy up, baby,” she encouraged.
Thrusting her hips, she wanted him to lick every inch, and Lano had no objections. Letting his tongue dance across her clit with rapid flicks, Anika’s legs twitched uncontrollably. Pulling her more to the edge of the couch by her thighs, her ass hung off as he mercilessly feasted on her goodies. Sucking her pearl into his mouth, Lano sucked hard while locking his arms around her legs.
“Don’t run now. Slurp! “I thought you wanted me to eat this sweet pussy?”
“I diiiiid,” Anika cried out as he sucked harder. “Ahhh, my gosh. Shit, DeLano!”
His name being screamed from her lips always drove Lano crazy. From the first time he placed his lips on her lower set, he made a promise to always have her calling out his name as if she needed him to save her.
“DeLanooo, oh my gooosh! Baaae. I’ma cum,” she belted out deliriously, on the brink of exploding all over his face.
Nastily, Lano twirled his tongue and sucked on her pussy at the same time. The action caused Anika’s back to arch so far off the couch, her body slid to the ground, but Lano didn’t let up. Pressing her thighs back against the plush carpet, he dipped his tongue inside her gushy walls eliciting a moan and words so inaudible from Anika, he almost chuckled. But, there wasn’t shit funny about his head game. It was serious as fuck and almost made his boo pass the hell out.
Finally, he came up for air and hovered over her trembling body. Anika’s entire frame was shaking like she was having a seizure. Her eyes were squeezed tight, hands balled into fist, and mouth slightly ajar. Lano rubbed up and down her thighs, helping her come down or return back to the planet her soul floated away from. When she sniffled as if she were crying, Lano let out a chuckle.
“Bae?”
“Hmm?” she moaned softly.
“Open your eyes and look at me while I slide this dick up in you,” he commanded in his sexy baritone.
“I-I can’t move anything,” she whined.
Her eyelids were so damn heavy, Anika could have fallen asleep butt ass naked right there, and she wouldn’t have cared. Wrapping his lips around her erect nipple, Lano spread her legs more. Slapping the head of his heavy dick against her clit, her juices trickled out some.
“You so damn wet,” he groaned, sliding deep inside and pulling out.
The sight of his long pole glistening with her juices had him ready to nut already. With a hand on her hip and the other holding her leg up, Lano slow stroked the pussy making Anika fall deeper in love with every thrust. Her eyes finally peeled open as she felt herself getting emotional.
“I-I love you so fucking much, bae,” she cried out.
Lano’s hands dropped to her nipples and tweaked them. “You love me, or you love this dick?”
“Both of ‘em.”
Her words came out jumbled, making her sound like she said ‘boffum’ and Lano smirked. He knew she loved him, but hearing it always felt good. Anika was his blessing. One he didn’t know he needed. She popped into his life at a time where he was battling the type of enemies who haunted you in your sleep. She was his peace, fuck what everybody else needed.
Kissing her lips, Lano said in a hiss as her muscles contracted around him, “Shit. I love you too. Keep cumming all over this dick. Can you do that for me?”
“Yes, Papi. I’ma cum all over it just how you like,” Anika purred making his dick even harder.
Pumping into her, Lano took in her beautiful face as it displayed all the emotions she couldn’t release through words. Today may have been his grandmother’s birthday, but Lano felt like it was his too with extra cake on the side. Only Anika could make him feel that way and his birthday wasn’t anywhere near.
Chapter 5
Had Anika not let it be known to Monroe that this was her first time taking professional photos, she would have thought she was lying. With each pose Anika struck, she looked like a natural. She’d been up since early this morning prepping for her big day. Though she didn’t need makeup, this occasion called for some and all those nights of watching YouTube videos had paid off. Her makeup was flawless, lashes full, and confidence on one hundred.
“Gosh. These are going to turn out so good,” Monroe said, giving her a big smile.
“Really?”
“Girl, yes! Talking about you’ve never done this before,” Monroe laughed. “I sure as hell can’t tell.”
Anika was in her zone as Monroe lifted the camera to capture more flicks. The shoot was scheduled for two hours with three outfit changes. She was on the last outfit and killing it. The baggy distressed boyfriend jeans hung low on her wide hips, while a royal blue cropped Crenshaw hoodie sat atop her upper half. Wanting to go for a more street style look, Anika pulled it off effortlessly as she gripped the drawstring in the hood, widened her stance, and focused on the lens of the camera.
“She’s a natural at this,” Zoe, Monroe’s assistant, and sister said.
Monroe nodded as Anika continued to pose looking like she hugged the block for a living.
“I’ma go grab some food before your next shoot. You know how demanding he is,” Zoe groaned.
“Giran can be a little demanding, but he's good people. His artists never give me any trouble.”
“Except for that one who came in here mad at the world. You remember that?” Zoe asked.
Monroe had a good business relationship with majority of the street dudes in her city. When she was on the come up and looking to make a name for herself, she’d go to shows and capture pictures and videos for promotional content. When her name starting buzzing, those same folks she did favors for put money in her pocket and brought business from all over her way. Giran was one of those people.
Every month or so, he’d personally drop money off for a few local artists who he wanted to help expand under his peoples record label. Or, he’d have someone drop money off to Monroe. At first, she thought he was trying to get at her, but realized he was just looking out for his people.
“Yeah, he was tripping. I heard he got killed though. That’s sad.”
“Damn,” Zoe uttered. “That is crazy. He was just in here a few months ago.”
“Right. These killings are getting out of control. Where you getting some food from?”
Zoe gave Anika a smile as she grooved to Mac Dre who had started playing over the speakers. In a second, she was going to bust out and start Thizz dancing.
“From Tio’s. Want your usual?”
“Yes. Extra sour cream.”
Zoe nodded. “Okay. Oh! I have to stop by the bank too, but I promise not to take long.”
“Please don’t.”
Taking a few more pictures, Monroe called Anika over, so she could look at a few. She was super nervous when she first arrived but calmed down some once she got in her zone. Wide-eyed, she looked from the picture on the screen to Monroe and shook her head.
“Girl. I look good,” she laughed.
“I told you! We won’t keep all of them for edits, but I’ll upload some to a flash drive or email you a folder of them once I’m done.”
Anika nodded her head, unable to contain the smile on her face. “Yes, please. I can’t believe these are really me.”
“Believe it girl. This is just the beginning.”
Client responses like the one Anika just had were the reason Monroe loved what she did. Even the slightest boost of someone’s confidence can c
hange the way they view themselves from a picture alone. She captured their vulnerability, seeing what they couldn’t see behind the lens.
“I’m so hype,” Anika said doing a little twerk just as the front door chimed.
“I am too.”
Standing straight up, Anika tugged on the waist of her jeans and let her eyes do a slow roam of the group of men who had just walked in. Her eyes landed on Giran’s first, and he shot her a grin. The crew of four men were dressed plainly in all black looking as if they were about to hit a lick on someone. Giran strolled smoothly over to where the women were standing.
“What up. I’m on time today,” he said making Monroe chuckle.
“That you are. You’re early too. It must be about to snow.”
He chuckled lowly. “I was late one time and you still holding that over my head? Let it go, Ma.”
“Mhm. I see you got a new crew with you today,” Monroe said, eyeing the rugged group of men who stood off to the side.
“Yeah. You know how this shit go. We just keep running into each other, huh?”
His question was directed to Anika who was trying not to stare at him. The gold chain dangling from around his neck, black skully covering his head and smell of his musky cologne had her tripping.
“I guess so. I’ma get out y’all’s way though. Don’t want to steal anyone’s shine,” she said hitting him with his own line.
Giran stroked his beard and smirked. “Nah. You’re not yet.”
Anika didn’t know what he meant by that, but she gave him a soft smile anyway, not wanting to be rude. There was one thing to have a casual conversation with someone, but she knew he was lowkey flirting.
“Is the dressing room unlocked?” she asked Monroe who nodded.
“Yep. It should be still. Just come back out when you’re done.”
Telling her she would, Anika headed toward the dressing room. She was still in awe at how successful Monroe was for her age. To not only have a studio, but a dressing room with an office too was legit. Baby girl had her priorities right on together and was motivating Anika to boss up.
As soon as she stepped in the dressing room and closed the door behind her, Anika flopped down on the couch and took a deep breath. She was overwhelmed with emotion right now and for good reason. Grabbing her phone out of her purse, she went to her recent call log and tapped on Solai’s name. After the third ring, she answered.
“Heeey!” Solai answered happily.
“Girl,” Anika chuckled. “You must just got some dick.”
“I wish hell. Juvie left up out of here this morning without giving me some. Me and Suryha was waiting on you to call. How’d it go? I know you killed that shit.”
Anika smirked and stood to her feet. “It went so good. Remind me again why I haven’t been doing this? I swear I’m on a high right now.”
“Yes!” Solai squealed. “That’s what I’m talking about friend. I’m so happy for you.”
“Thank you, girl. She kept saying I was so natural at it and I’m just like really? You sure?”
The two laughed, and Anika placed her on speaker, so she could change.
“I don’t know why you be doubting yourself. It’s only up from here. When will you get them back, so I can see?”
Slipping the hoodie over her head, she snatched up her t-shirt and had one arm in when a knock at the door resounding throughout the small room.
“Hold on Lai,” she called out before sticking her other arm in and walking over to the door. As soon as she turned the knob, the door was roughly shoved open, knocking Anika in the face causing her to lose her balance and stumble to the ground.
“What the fuck!” she yelled out as her hand shot to her now bloody nose.
“Anika!” Solai screamed, hearing her friend in distress. “What is going on?!”
Stepping inside the dressing room, Giran and two of the four niggas he came with barged in behind him and closed the door with a lock following. Anika’s stomach dropped to the soles of her feet as she looked up at them with blurred vision.
“If y’all came in here to rob me, y’all dumber than y’all look.”
“Anika! Who the fuck—”
Snatching her phone up, Giran hung up in Solai’s face and powered it off. There was no need to break it. When he and his niggas were done handling business, he wanted Anika to call on her punk ass man. Lano had been vying for some attention it seemed, and he was about to give him some. Chuckling, he licked his lips and stepped over to her. Anika wasn’t about to go out without a fight, though she was scared as hell. Balling her fist up, she went to stand from the ground but was punched so hard across the face with the butt of Giran’s gun, her head snapped back as blood profusely poured from her instant head wound.
“Bitch, ain’t nobody here to rob you. You and that nigga of yours dumber than y’all think I am.”
When her eyes settled on his and realization of what was about to go down settled in, Anika panicked, but it was too late. Giving his boys the signal with a head nod, they rushed Anika and commenced to beating her ass. Trying her best to fight back, Anika kicked, punched, screamed, and clawed at her attackers.
“Aaaaah! Help!” she screamed with fear evident in her shaky voice.
So many punches and kicks were being delivered, she gave up and curled into the fetal position. Giran stood back and watched with a smirk on his face. For weeks, Lano had been taking out his niggas, and he had yet to retaliate. He wasn’t even going to make his presence known until the smoke settled some, but the opportunity presented itself the day he walked in and saw Anika at the studio.
Unbeknownst to Monroe, the interest Giran showed in Anika a few hours after he left that day was for one reason only. He peeped the tags on her Jag and knew for a fact she had to be affiliated with Lano. When Monroe confirmed that she had just moved down from KC on some normal conversation type shit, Giran felt like he had hit the lotto. He was stuck on seeking revenge in a slow, torturous manner or a quick punishment instead. Killing her would be no good. He needed Lano to be right on the brink of losing his fucking mind before he took his life.
“P-Please. No,” Anika muffled out feeling herself about to pass out.
Body battered, bloody, and bruised, the last thing she wanted the men to do was take something from her she gave them no access to. As her jeans were roughly yanked from her frame, Monroe and Zoe had just barged through their front door. One of Giran’s boys made up a lie about the police writing a ticket for Monroe’s car just to get her out of the studio. Someone had placed something on her car, but it was just a party flyer for the weekend. Once she was out the door, he locked it behind her and guarded it. The only reason he had moved was because Zoe used her key to unlock it while Monroe aimed her sister’s gun at his head from outside. The man moved not wanting his life to end over a bitch he couldn’t give a fuck less about.
“This bitch ass so fat,” one of the men growled, before smacking her on the ass.
Anika’s eyes blinked slowly as she lay flat on her stomach and head mashed into the cold, tile floor. Her hearing was fading in and out as well as her consciousness. Only when one of the men snatched her purse up and dumped all its contents out, did she try finding her voice again.
“N-No. Leave it,” she called out hoarsely.
“Nah. This hoe too icy,” the man chuckled as he and Giran stared at the diamond watch in his hand.
Had it been Anika’s she wouldn’t have cared, but it wasn’t hers. It belonged to Saon. In the midst of being damaged and humiliated, she was still trying to protect her man. The watch was significant to Lano, and she knew he’d be crushed once she told him they stole it. Not as crushed as he was going to be about her brutal attack though.
“A’ight. That’s enough,” Giran called out with his back pressed against the door.
“Open this fucking door!” Monroe screamed, banging her fist against it.
Tears, snot, and blood trickled down Anika’s face as she tried her best to st
are him in the eyes. They were cold. She now knew why he had that teardrop on his face, and his image would forever be embedded in her mind.
“I hate it had to be this way Ma. If yo’ nigga thought I was hiding, tell his bitch ass to come and find me now,” Giran spat evilly before sending her a wink.
Coughing, blood splattered across the tile and Anika hissed lowly, “Fuck you.”
“My mans already did,” Giran chuckled before pulling the door open. He was met by fists to the chest, but he ate them shits and walked right by Monroe.
Seeing the blood decorating the men following behind him, her eyes swelled with tears. “W-What’d you do? What the fuck did you do to her!?” she screamed at his back but didn’t receive an answer.
“This shit was personal, shawty,” one male said, wiping his bloody hand against his black jeans.
Zoe was the first to break down seeing the damage they had done to Anika. She looked unrecognizable from all the blood and swelling. Rushing into the room, Monroe’s steps halted at the sight before her. Her lips trembled, and tears fell at a rapid pace.
“W-We gotta call the police,” Zoe’s cracked voice called out.
Anika’s breathing slowed down, but the word police somehow registered to her brain before she passed out and said, “No police.”
If this was personal like the guy said, Monroe knew getting the police involved may not have been a good idea. She wanted to save her business, but what he and those boys did to Anika deserved jail time. Hell, death even. A slow one.
“What are we going to do? We can’t just leave her like this,” Zoe said, wiping the tears from her face. “Do we call the police?”
Turning Anika on her side, she prayed her injuries were only on the surface. Grabbing a towel from the table, she laid it across her lower half as Monroe thought quickly on her feet.
“I’ll call someone. I know someone,” she said lowly, scrolling to a friend, or associate rather, contact information. He owed her a favor from a few months ago, but Monroe didn’t think she’d ever need it. Thankfully, he was a real nigga and would come through for her in the clutch.
