“You went overboard with the gifts, didn't you?”
“Harvey… no amount of gifts will ever match the gift she gave us.”
I just look at him and voice the words that mean as much as they meant the first time I said them.
“I love you!”
“I love you too, husband!” His lips meet mine, “Come on… let's hurry so we can meet our little Harveys.”
And hand in hand, we walk into the elevator that takes us down to the main floor. We walk to and from the parking lot, and as we are back in the waiting room, we hear our last name being called, and we walk past the double doors that are about to show us our future.
We get to the room, we open the door, and there we see Lamar with our babies in her arms, as she makes squeaky little noises and talks to them.
My children will have the best godmother they could ever ask for, and I'm about to have a life and family with the husband I love and the two little troublemakers I already adore.
I never thought my life would be what it is right now. I don't know what I did to deserve it, but whatever it was that put such a treasure in my path, I hope I continue to do it until my last breath.
I fought so hard to convince myself I wasn't gay, yet here I am with a husband who is the father of my children.
Does it make me, Harvey Andreas Breevort, gay?
Undoubtedly... and indeed.

ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS
Thank you Harvey and Tobias. Thank you for existing within me and getting me off the bed—after midnight—to write down that last sentence of chapter one, and create a whole story that started when a little voice in the back of my brain said...
“Nice to meet you. I’m Mr. Pompous Asshole; the owner that couldn’t care less.”

Not So Straight
Brandon and Seb fight by day and play with fire at night, but neither is willing to dig deep into what they feel building within them. One fights his desire to be with a man for the first time, the other sees it all as a new adventure.
Can they walk away after they try?
When I Choose To Wake Up
My name is Liam Tanner Everell. I have a girlfriend—or three. I don't quite remember and honestly? Who even has time to count? I left home for college two years ago; a year ago, my little sister decided to go to the same college. And what do you know? She ends up dating my roommate. That wouldn't bother me if she didn't run to my mom—figuratively, of course—to tell her everything I do that she would disapprove of, which is pretty much all I do every minute I'm awake.
I was lucky enough to have wealthy parents; it doesn't hurt that they are also decent people. Of course, that means I'm used to getting what I want, when I want it, and because I want it. I have a simple job to help me finish my degree—communications. That was my bright idea; getting a degree in communications when I can barely stand talking to the people I already know.
Why do I tell you all this about myself? Because within the next few months, that guy will die... and I will be born.
About The Author
Lara Hale
After a back injury, Lara Hale started writing in 2018. That gave her enough time at home to find a new passion. She has written many stories on platforms such as Wattpad, Inkitt, and Chapters Taptales; this one is the third story to be published.
Lara loves writing all types of Romance novels. Still, she feels a higher drive toward writing LGBTQ+ stories, mainly MM Romance that mix the desire the community has for true acceptance and love, along with the pain they suffer in the absence of that happiness. Her characters are flawed, damaged, and mostly stubborn, but in the end, they represent all we are.
Some of her favorite authors are Brooke Blaine, Ella Frank, Kendall Ryan, Riley Hart, Penelope Ward, and VI Keeland.
Lara lives with her two dogs, Thunder and Lightning, and her bearded dragon, Goku. Their favorite game is ‘who can sleep the most?’; Goku remains the undefeated champion.
