ABOUT THE AUTHOR
CJ Cooke lives in Nottinghamshire England, with her husband and son. She drinks more tea than could be possibly healthy for you and dances to her own internal song. She swears more than is probably socially acceptable and yes, she’s a bit of a weirdo, but as her husband always says, she’s his beautiful weirdo.

NOTE FROM THE AUTHOR
Thank you so much for taking the chance and reading my debut novel! I really hope that you liked it, or at least didn’t hate it. I never understood just how daunting the process of writing a book could be. When you originally get to the point where you decide you’re going to do it and you finally say “I’m going to do it, I’m going to write a book”, you have no idea all of the extra things that you’re going to need to do on top of “just” writing that book.
I am so sorry about the cliff hanger ending! It was really hard to find a place to end the first book. Please forgive me! I promise that the next one will be coming out as soon as possible.
There are very few people who will fall into a “thanks” section because I was so nervous about writing the book that I didn’t have the courage to tell anyone that I was writing it. But, of course, I want to thank my wonderful husband, who was the only person I told that I was going to do this. You really are my best friend and I would never have got this far without you standing right beside me.
I wanted to take this opportunity to speak to all of you out there that are thinking about writing a book of their own. Have courage, take a chance and write the story that’s rattling around in your head. At the end of the day, what do you really have to lose by doing so? Put pen to paper and give it a shot. Even if you don’t tell anyone about it. It’s a long and stressful experience but when you finally finish and you see a finished book in your hand, it is definitely worth it.
