“Jerome, ooh, fuck!” I moaned into my palm before biting the skin.

Grabbing the back of Jerome’s neck, I brought his lips to mine, sliding my tongue into his mouth and tangling it with his. His movement slowed as he kissed me back. Breaking the kiss, his forehead lay against mine.

“You feel so good,” I breathed out as he thrust hard, causing me to gasp. He slid out slowly then came back fast, hard. “God, yes,” I panted as my arms wrapped around his shoulders, and I pulled myself up. I wanted to fuck him so bad. My mouth went to his ear, biting the lobe before sucking on it. “I wanna fuck yo’ dick so bad.” I bit his lobe and received a groan from him. “Sit in the chair and let me.”

Jerome pulled out of me and moved back. He grabbed the chair and sat in it. Pushing his legs together and turning my back to him. I reached between my legs and grabbed his dick, bringing it to my soaking tunnel then slid down on it.

“Mmm, shit,” I moaned while taking hold of his knees.

My hips rolled and ground into his lap, my pussy throbbing around his thick shaft. My ass came up then went back down his erect monster, taking him deep inside my pulsing box.

“Fuck!” We moaned at the same time.

“Gotdamn,” Jerome grunted as he squeezed my ass. His hand came down on my booty before he rubbed the stinging cheek. “Don’t play with it, fuck that shit.” He slapped my ass.

Smiling, I gripped his knees tight and started bouncing on his shaft. The friction of his dick stroking my inner walls was mindboggling, causing my pussy to milk around him rapidly. “Ooh, ooh, ooh, fuck, baby!” My ass bounced faster, moving desperately to reach that orgasmic high my body ached for.

“Ah, fuck! Gotdamn, Nessa,” Jerome grunted, squeezing my ass in a vise grip. “Shit!” His hands grabbed my waist tightly as if trying to stop my movement. “Nessa, fuck, slow up. Gotdamn, fuck!”

Letting go of his knees, I took hold of the desk. My hips rolled then ground onto him. Jerome reached around and grabbed my left breast, squeezing, then pinching the nipple before his other hand found its way to my swollen clit. He started playing with the pearl.

“Mmm…” My teeth sank into my bottom lip, and I started bouncing once again. “Ah, ah, ah. Ooh, shit!” The muscles in my ass jumped, and my pussy squeezed around him as I reached that mindboggling, orgasmic release. My body twitched, and my pussy pulsed as I continued to bounce on his dick, riding out my orgasm.

“Ah, fuck. Gotdamn, Nessa! Shit!” Jerome’s arms went around my waist, holding me tight to his pelvis and stopping my movement. “Fuck!” His arms loosened on my waist as he went limp in the chair. “Gotdamn, Janessa. Fuck…” He grunted while rubbing his hand over my ass. “Shit.”

My head was against the desk, my body high as could be, but I was done for. My lungs burned from all the moaning and panting I had done. I couldn’t move; I was completely spent.

Jerome shook my booty and groaned before stopping as my pussy responded by squeezing around his dick. “You straight?”

“Mhm.” The loud shrieking of his phone alarm going off had me groaning. I didn’t want to move. I just didn’t have the energy to do so.

“You got to get yo’ shit back on,” he said and tapped my butt.

I was freaking exhausted. “I know.” Letting out a heavy breath, I got up, causing him to slide out of me. Bending over, I grabbed my pants leg and panties.

Jerome’s hand stroked over my ass before spreading my cheeks. “Yo’ pussy glistening. That mothafucka pretty as fuck.”

Laughing at his lazy voice, I stepped into the right side of my pant leg then pulled my track bottoms up. “Thank you.” After fixing my breasts back into my bra, I turned to face him. He was still leaned back in the chair, his dick still out and glistening. Leaning over him, I pressed my lips to his. “Get up before somebody walks in here and sees you like this.” Kissing him once more, I straightened up.

“Ah, fuck,” Jerome grunted as he fixed himself in his jeans before he sat up in the chair. Rubbing his head, he stared at his feet for a minute.

My brow rose as I zipped up my jacket. “You okay?” I asked while stepping into my white Vans.

He grabbed the cup of coffee off the floor and sat up, staring at me. “Yeah, I’m good.” His eyes held mine for a long while before his head shook, and he laughed. “Fuck.” He hopped up out the chair and stretched.

I laughed to myself because I knew he was just as exhausted as I was. “I’ll be back,” I told him as I headed for the door.

  “Where you going?” he questioned.

Stopping at the door, I turned to face him. I motioned over my coochie. “To get cleaned up, and I forgot my bag.” I pointed to my tote beside the desk. Jerome grabbed it and brought it to me. “Thanks—I thought that was mine.” I pointed to the coffee that he had drunk out of.

He cocked a brow at me. “Why the fuck would you think that?” He took another drink.

“You always bring me coffee in the morning. So, why wouldn’t I think that?” I asked, reaching for the cup, but he pulled it out of my reach.

“That’s what you get for assuming shit. And had yo’ ass not been ignoring my damn calls this morning, you would have yo’ coffee. Gone get cleaned up.” Smirking, he turned away from me and went to his desk.

  “Asshole.”

I heard him laugh as I walked out of the classroom.

“He’s definitely an asshole,” Jonell said with a knowing smile wide on his face. “Morning.” He nodded then walked around me.

“Good morning.” Giving a sheepish smile of my own, I turned away from him and went to the bathroom.

It was so damn scandalous to have Jonell standing outside the room door while his brother and I had sex. My face grew hot, and I groaned in embarrassment. I went into a stall, grabbed my wipes, and started cleaning my lady parts.

Once finished, I left the bathroom, only to run into Rochelle. “Hey, babe. How was the weekend with your sister?” I asked while hugging her.

She returned my embrace. “Fun and tiring. Girl, I haven’t drunk so much in my entire life. I still feel hungover.” She groaned, holding her head.

Laughing, I nodded, knowing the exact feeling. “Listen, you don’t have to tell me about that. I know the feeling.”

Her brows shot up at that. “How was your weekend exactly? Was it hot and steaming?” She grinned mischievously.

I broke out laughing. “Not at all. It was crazy as hell, though. We’re doing lunch, right?”

She nodded. “Of course. I have to fill you in on my hot and steamy weekend, and you can tell me what was so crazy about yours.”

  “Okay…”

“Good morning, Janessa,” Dion spoke to me with a smile. He glanced at Rochelle and nodded at her.

“Morning, Dion.” I returned his smile and waved at him before I turned my attention back to Rochelle. “We’ll talk at lunch.”

“Alright, babe, go ’head.” She waved me on. “Oh! Nessa.” Rochelle called, causing me to turn back to her. She looked me over. “You’re wearing that ain’t you?” She smiled, motioning up my body. My face immediately went hot at her compliment. “You look really good, babe.”

My hand rubbed down the new jogging suit I had just gotten. “Thanks, sweetie.” Compliments were something I really had to get used to. With my face still hot, I turned away from her and headed toward the classroom.

“How was your weekend, Janessa?” Dion asked, walking beside me.

Smiling at him, I shrugged slightly. “It was… fun, actually. How about yours?”

“It was i’ight. Could’ve been better, though.” He pulled the classroom door open for me. “And your friend is right. You look good dressed down,” he stated, taking me in. “You don’t look so… serious like this. You seem more relaxed, not so pent-up, a bit unbothered, and comfortable as hell. It’s definitely a good look on you,” he observed, still staring at me seeming… amused somehow.

My brows knitted, and I looked down at myself, trying to se
e what everyone else saw. “So… you assumed all that from my clothes?” I found it humorous, actually, because I didn’t feel that way. Yeah, I felt lighter, having let go of everything. I felt relieved.

He laughed at that. “No, it’s everything together.” He motioned to the high ponytail on top of my head, then to my face. “The hair, the bare face, your appearance doesn’t seem so forced like before.” His eyes squinted, and he looked away from me. Dion rubbed his brows and laughed awkwardly. “Ignore me. You look nice, though. Whatever you’re doing, keep at it. Go ahead.” He nodded for me to walk into the class.

“Thanks, Dion.” I gave his arm a slight squeeze and walked into the room. I didn’t realize how obvious my stress had been in my appearance. It was so crazy to think I was hiding everything so well, only to find out that I wasn’t at all. That sucked. I guess if my kids could see through the façade I had been putting on for years, I shouldn’t have been surprised that everyone else would too.

Yeah, it sucked that I was so readable to people, but I didn’t feel bad about not looking so stressed and feeling relieved about my future.

“You late. We should’ve locked the door on yo ass,” Jerome spoke out, which caused the room to chuckle.

I looked at the time. It was only 7:58. “Actually, I’m not, Mr. King. I came right on time,” I stated as I walked to the front of my desk. Seeing the cup of coffee, I smiled. Clearing my throat, I turned to face the class. “Okay, now that we got that understood,” I shot a glance at Jerome, who smirked, “we can get started.” Mentally rolling my eyes and holding back my smile, I paid attention to the class. “Good morning, I hope you all had a great weekend but slept in on Sunday. That way, you don’t sleep in my class, Rayshawn.” My knuckles rapped hard on his desk, waking him up.

“I wasn’t asleep. My eyes hurt; I’m just resting them.” He sat up and folded his arms over his chest. Even so, his eyes were still closed.

“Well, I hope you’re listening because I won’t repeat anything. So, don’t ask me at the end of class what needs to be done, Ashely!” I yelled to the back of the room. He tossed up two fingers but didn’t lift his head. Leaning against my desk, I folded my arms under my chest. “The packet on your desks are assessment tests. They’re similar to the one I gave on the first day of school—and Jerome, I hope you’re not asleep and just resting your eyes, like Rayshawn and Ashely are!” I yelled, and Jonell hit Jerome, who had fallen asleep.

“Why the fuck are you so gotdamn loud this morning? Damn, we can hear you, fuck,” Rayshawn snapped, irritably.

“Just making sure y’all can hear me is all. Like I said, I’m not repeating anything, especially if I know you weren’t listening. Now, as I was saying…” I knocked on Jerome’s desk. He had his head in the folds of his arms. The nigga was snoring loud, so he couldn’t tell me he wasn’t sleeping.

His snoring stopped. “I’ight,” he replied.

“I want to see how much you’ve improved from the first day to now. These, you can’t take home. I will need them today. Don’t dwell on the problems you don’t know. Skip it, and if you have time, go back to it. Once you finish with the packet, you can start on the assignment written on the board. That, you can take home and finish, but it has to be brought back tomorrow. Also, grades were posted last night, so you can log onto the site and check them. For those of you who don’t have a computer at home, I can print them for you, just ask. Y’all can get started,” I told them as I made my way back to the front of the room. “I’m going to assume that Friday’s homework is already on my desk, if not, get it there before eight-twenty. I won’t take it after that.” I stated as I sat in my chair.

Dion was the first to put his work on my desk. I laughed as they all got up to do the same. Although they were grown, hell, it was still like teaching high schoolers.

We had two hours left until class was over, and I was actually surprised by how many of them had finished the assessment test. I didn’t know if the answers were right, however. My eyes slid to Jerome. He hadn’t finished his. Hell, he didn’t do anything except sleep. As if that wasn’t bad enough, he had the nerve to be snoring loud as hell. He wasn’t even trying to hide the fact that he was sleeping. I kept seeing Jonell trying to wake him up, but he was out of it.

The sudden knock on my room door grabbed my attention. Nick, the security, stuck his head in. Seeing me, he pushed the door fully open, and a skinny, white man carrying a bouquet of pink roses and stargazer lilies walked in.

  “Ms. Watson?” the man asked.

Slowly, my head nodded. “Yeah…” I spoke softly, trying to mask my confusion.

He set the flowers on my desk then held out a small clipboard toward me. “Sign here?” He held out a pen for me.

“You sure you have the right person?” I was so damn lost.

He pulled the clipboard back and looked at it. “Janessa Michaelson?” he questioned, and I nodded. “Then, I have the right person.”

I picked up my own pen and grabbed the board. “Who sent them?” I asked while signing my name.

“I don’t know. I think it’s a card, though. You have yourself a good day.” He nodded at me and then left the classroom.

The flowers were so beautiful. Even so, I was stuck on who sent them. I grabbed the card from its holder and took it out of the little envelope.

  Good Morning, Gorgeous

I could not let the morning go by without letting you know that I’m thinking of you.

I hope your day is as bright as the smile you’re wearing while reading this.

  Sincerely, Your Love ♥

I flipped the card over, hoping to see a name written on it, but there wasn’t one. Realizing that I was actually smiling from flattery, I stopped, well I tried to anyway. That was the second time I received flowers from someone, and for the life of me, I couldn’t begin to think of who they could’ve come from.

Trell was immediately pushed out of my mind. Although he’ll buy me flowers, he wouldn’t be so anonymous about it nor get creative with the messages like that. I was so lost as to who it could be.

“Flowers being sent to the workplace. Ain’t that inappropriate or some shit?” Robert asked from the back of the room. “You can get in trouble for this shit, right?”

Laughing, I put the card back into the envelope. “No, I can’t get in trouble for this. Why? Are you trying to get rid of me already, Robert?” I asked him as I sat back down.

“Hell yeah. You’re irritating as fuck.” The work packet on his desk was tossed on the floor. “I’m tired of doing this bullshit.”

He wasn’t one of the brightest ones in the room. “Whether I’m here or not, you’re still going to have to do the work. Plus, I’m not forcing you to be here and do any of this bullshit as you call it. I mean, you choose to come here every morning.”

“It ain’t my fuckin’ choice, you dumb bitch—”

“Yo, watch yo fuckin’ mouth before I stomp yo’ gotdamn teeth down yo’ mothafuckin’ throat. It ain’t her fault yo’ stupid ass here, nigga. Take that shit up with yo’ P.O. or the fuckin’ judge who assigned yo’ ass to this shit. Bitch ass mothafucka,” Jonell snapped at Robert.

However, Robert’s glare stayed on me. I didn’t know why the hell he was mugging me; I didn’t snap at him.

“Fuck you, and this class.” He stood up, tossing his desk over as he walked to the front of the room. His gaze never diverted from mine. “You got a smart ass fuckin’ mouth. The last bitch that got smart with me, I slit her fuckin’ throat. You better watch yo’ fuckin’ self. These niggas ain’t always gon’ be around to save yo’ ass.”

Before he could reach my desk, Jerome had knocked him to the floor. I jumped up from my chair, surprised by the action. “You gotda be a stupid mothafucka to threaten her in this bitch,” Jerome told him. “You a pussy ass nigga—”

“Jerome, let him go before a louder commotion gets started. He’s not worth you getting in trouble over.” I grabbed his arm, stopping him from hitting
Robert.

I knew the school wasn’t going to tolerate violence. No matter whose fault it was, after their second strike, they both would be thrown out of the program and get sent back to prison. I didn’t want that for Jerome.

Jerome shrugged me off his arm, and I let him go. His big hand was tightly wrapped around Robert’s throat, choking the hell out of him. The man’s face had turned red. “The last pussy ass nigga who ran his mouth like a bitch, I let my knife fuck him, turning him into the pussy ass bitch he was. You threaten her again or even look at her wrong, I got a fourteen-inch blade that’s ready to turn you into a bitch. Try me if you wanna. Now, get the fuck out of here.”

He banged his head onto the hard floor before straightening up. Jerome brushed past me and went back to his seat. He folded his arms on the desk and lay back down like nothing happened.

Robert pushed himself off the floor and stormed towards the door, not looking at me, or Jerome, for that matter. “What the fuck are you looking at?” he snapped at Dion before knocking his books and papers on the floor.

He then stormed out the room pissed.

My eyes rolled at his childish behavior. I went over to Dion to help him pick up his stuff. “I’m sorry about that. He’s an asshole,” I said while stacking his papers.

“You don’t have a reason to be sorry. You ain’t do it. He shouldn’t have talked to you like that. Janessa, he doesn’t need to be in here after this.” Dion sounded pissed.

“Don’t worry about that. He won’t be back here.”

I wasn’t stupid enough to let Robert back into my room after his outburst. He had clearly threatened to slit my damn throat. I would be a damn fool to let him back into my room, let alone the building. I was definitely reporting him. Straightening up, I went for the door.

Dion grabbed my arm so fast and tight, stopping me. “What are you doing? You’re not about to go after him, Janessa.”
