You are still reading! Thank you so much. It doesn’t get much better than that.
Has it been a year since End Days first appeared in public? The time has gone quickly and E.E. Isherwood cranked out the books one after the other to completion. I applaud his work and storytelling to deliver a most excellent tale. This worked quite well in tying together a worldwide series of storylines into a complex quilt that brought Buck and Garth across the nation.
2019 was a long year. I published five different series, personally wrote eight books, and shepherded another thirty-six through the process. That was a lot of work, but this year, I’m drawing back to publishing fewer books. That many books burned me out, to the point that I have to have heart surgery. By the time you read this, you’ll know that it was successful. But I’m still up in the air because it hasn’t happened yet. I tell you stories of today that you read tomorrow, so I guess I have to predict the future, at least a little bit.
The big question, now that you’ve finished the first four books, is when will book five be published? We don’t know if a book 5 will be written. This series has done well, sales wise, but our other books are doing better. To keep writing, we have to work on those things that bring home the bacon. However, this series has shown consistently strong sales, month over month. With the energy of this box set, it may put it over the top where both reader desire and sales marry up to create the conditions where a book 5 is an absolute necessity. I want to know where the story goes next, too. There is a great deal of opportunity to talk survival against the wildest of the wild brought through from times past.
I have a lot cooking in regards to other series and books that need written. My heart issues threw my schedule into absolute disarray. I should have had three more books done in 2019, but I was lucky to finish what I do. I have a full writing schedule for the first half of 2020, after that, we’ll go where the best winds are blowing. I need to finish three series before moving on to other things.
In the interim, reach back into the past, wish me luck, and then watch both Brian and me as we continue crafting stories to titillate, tantalize, and torment.
Here’s a timewarp for you – it’s now a few days after my heart surgery and the good doctor fixed everything. I now have eight new scars inside my heart. The swelling is just now going down so I can take a deep breath without pain. But it is healing well and I should be better than I had been than I’ve been for quite some time as my heart is now beating normally.
That’s it, now. I’m off to keep writing.
Peace, fellow humans.
