  Poseidon’s Weakness

Poseidon exhaled violently showing the discomfort he felt in his chest. The suspicion, that the situation would turn nasty, became real when the messenger from mount Olympus showed up in Poseidon’s doorstep. Earlier in the evening, gazing to the West he saw dark clouds hiding the walk of the Sun to his dormitory and he knew those were not normal clouds; he had kept the water of the seas calm so there was no humidity and the air in the sky was crispy and dry. The only thing which could explain the appearance of such dark and threatening clouds was that Zeus, the Master and Lord of all Gods and humans, was indeed very upset about something. Poseidon had his suspicion confirmed by the arrival of the Olympian messenger.

He invited the visitor to the magnificent aquarium where beautiful mermaids, brought to the Mediterranean from the great oceans to take care of all Poseidon’s needs, graciously received the newcomer. As it is proper and in line with the rules of hospitality, a range of specially prepared platters filled with delicious seafood tit-bits, was served to Zeus’s message bearer. The messenger, after satisfying his hunger with the sumptuous variety of food and his thirst with the best wine produced by the world famous Satyr’s winery in the city of Thebes, opened his gold knitted post bag and took out a dark coloured papyrus, rolled in complete symmetry and sealed with an imperial looking seal. It was unmistakable! The dreaded summons for immediate appearance in front of the disciplinary Council of Gods, under the chairmanship of Zeus himself, has arrived. Poseidon knew that Zeus became aware of the unfortunate event which took place the previous night and now the explanation was deemed unavoidable.

With trembling hands he broke the seal and slowly unrolled the papyrus. The letters of the words, bright red as if they were written with overheated iron ore, were nearly jumping out of the surface of the papyrus. It was typical of an invitation associated with a sort of stern warning, stressing the fact that possible disobedience to the instructions written will bring terrible punishment to the addressee. He read the message twice in case he missed something the first time.

“By order of His Excellency the Supreme Lord of Earth and Sky,

The Lord of Oceans and all Seas Lord Poseidon is requested to appear in front of the Council of Gods on Mount Olympus, in order to provide sufficient explanation on the event which took place three miles south of the island of Delos, residence and dominion of the High Priest of the Apollonian Temple.

The appearance of Lord Poseidon will take place no later than three days from the moment that this notification is delivered.”

For a moment, Poseidon remained silent and in deep thought, but then he got up from his royal recliner, wished the messenger a safe trip back to Olympus and headed towards the wing of the palace which housed his sleeping quarters. Three mermaids from the North Sea had already prepared his waterbed, covered with hand made bedspreads made of silk from China and top quality Egyptian sheets. But he had no intention to go to sleep. He had to think and think hard if he was to avoid what at this moment was seemingly a forthcoming personal catastrophe.

He turned his gaze to the corner of the suite where the three mermaids respectfully had lowered their eyes looking at the carpeted floor, as if Poseidon’s appearance had the same effect on their vision as the brightness of the Sun. For a few seconds he studied the outline of their angelic figures concentrating especially on Alexis’s incredibly sexy body. He was terribly proud that millions of years ago, when no other creatures existed but only gods and demigods, he was the one who suggested that the design of mermaids should permit the transformation of the tails into human looking legs, when the mermaid was out of the water, while it would revert back to its main form of a tail on the mermaid’s entry into water. Over the past millennia this design proposal of his was responsible for endless days of untold pleasure because ,truth to be told, even as a perfect God of the Seas he had one major and incurable weakness; he really adored the look of a well shaped pair of lady’s legs What he liked even more was to let his hands caress them from the back of the calf to the hills and valleys of the woman’s pleasure centres sending waves of hedonistic micro pulses to her brain and at the same time sending hot fast flowing blood to his member responsible for all his erotic pleasures but also troubles.

He pushed aside the thought of his appearance in front of the disciplinary Council, even the vision of Zeus’s distorted from anger face; he knew that when thoughts of erotic pleasures entered his mind everything else would be lost in the background hidden by the urgency he felt in his groins.

With a subtle movement of his head towards the god sized bed and the lifting of his eyebrows, he indicated to Alexis that her presence was required in the chambers for a bit longer. At the same time a slight movement of his hand gave the signal to the other two mermaids that their services were no longer required and they should retreat to their sleeping quarters. Lowering their heads respectfully, but with an understanding smile forming on their faces, they walked out of the suite. The moment they entered their dormitory, they looked at each other and broke into naughty giggles because both knew very well the good time which was in store for Alexis in the caring hands of Poseidon. They had many times in the past, both individually or at the same time with other mermaids and human participants, experienced the unimaginable erotic pleasures that Poseidon could dispense. Even long after such occasion, the memory of the intense feelings and the ecstasy in which their entire being surrendered for endless blessed hours, could not be forgotten and would make one toss and turn in bed trying to find some sort of relief from the burning desire. Nefeli, the blue eyed petite mermaid gently took her friend Melina by the arm and gently guided her to the luxurious water bed which many times provided the play-ground on which they found relief from sexual tensions. A poor of course substitute for Poseidon’s skills but nevertheless they accepted that tonight it was going to be Alexis’s lucky night and not theirs.

In the meantime, back in the chambers of the God of the Seas and Oceans, Poseidon had already surrendered every sensor of his body and every part of his imagination to the soft and sensuous touch of Alexis’s lips on his skin. Her dexterity in awakening passion and bringing pleasure to every cell of his body was something highly appreciated by Poseidon. Even the Seas as far away as the Indian Ocean sensed the pleasure in the soul of their master and their surface was trembling with excitement and anticipation. Playful white froth appeared on top of the small waves as if the sea was perspiring under the effort to delay the final explosive scene of the romantic drama. For more than two hours the waves danced joyfully to the rhythm dictated by the movements of the two bodies on Poseidon’s bed. Then, a violent swelling of the Aegean Sea sent the salty waters lashing against the rocks demarcating the shoreline and signalled the arrival of Poseidon’s sensual relief. Few moments later and all signs of upheaval disappeared. A kind of peaceful feeling spread over the now calm and relaxed oceans. The same feeling warmed Poseidon’s heart and he felt obliged to express his appr
eciation to Alexis by taking her in his arms and joining his lips with hers he gently blew into her lungs a small amount of his breath. This is considered a very special honour, bestowed upon mortals by any God only in circumstances which the deity deems exceptional. Although nobody has ever described the benefits of such honour, it is widely rumoured that the breath causes incredible feelings of hedonistic ecstasy to the recipient and if the recipient happens to be mortal or demi-god then it would be impossible for him or her to fall in love with any other mortal or demi-god. The recipient will forever remain emotionally attached to the deity who offered the kiss. Alexis did not mind at all to be kissed by Poseidon. She was already and for many years now in love with him, enjoying giving to and receiving pleasures from him. Especially the kiss was indeed something she was always looking forward to in her encounters with Poseidon.

Slowly but surely the feelings of pleasure and blissful abandon gave way to the harsh reality of life and Poseidon’s heart got heavy again when the image of angry Zeus and the sombre faces of the other gods of the Council, returned back
