William swiped the water from his head. Because of his lack of hair, it ran into his eyes again seconds later. “We need to get moving. We need to get there before the next full moon.”
As if praying, Rita pressed her hands together. “We’re sorry we didn’t tell you about this sooner. We wish you all the luck in the world.”
William spoke through his tightly clamped jaw. “We don’t need luck. We’re going to find Grandfather Jacks, and we’re going to cut his fucking head off.”
