Ragnon grasped Dennis’s hand and gave a gentle tug. Dennis grinned as they left Ragnon’s parents behind and walked toward the kitchen. Ragnon pulled out one of the chairs tucked beneath the table, and Dennis took a seat.

Glancing over his shoulder, Dennis watched Bheilf and Hokr embrace. “Your parents are so sweet,” he told Ragnon.

“They’re mates,” he said, as if that explained everything.

Dennis’s parents weren’t close. The two barely spoke, and they never showed any kind of affection. It was nice to see Bheilf and Hokr together. They really seemed to be in love.

“How do you like Noglion so far, Dennis?” Bheilf asked as soon as he took a seat at the table.

Dennis glanced at Ragnon. “I’m happy to be here.”

The male reached out and took Dennis’s hand and gave a gentle squeeze.

Hokr took Dennis’s empty plate and filled it with traditional Noglion food before placing it in front of him once again. Dennis didn’t recognize anything, but that wouldn’t deter him. He picked up his utensil and started eating. Dennis ate slowly, savoring each bite while, at the same time, comparing it to the food he’d eaten at home. The flavors and textures were different from anything he’d ever had before, but it was still tasty. Pausing between bites, Dennis glanced up and quickly realized that Bheilf and Hokr were watching him closely.

“What do you think of the food?” Hokr asked. “Do you like it?”

Dennis smiled and nodded. “It’s great. Thank you.”

The meal was a pleasant affair. Bheilf and Hokr entertained Dennis with stories of Gogrek and Ragnon. It seemed that his mates were a bit wild when they were young. Ragnon got into a lot of fights, and Gogrek liked to sneak into the flight bay and go on hovercraft rides without permission. Dennis couldn’t remember the last time he’d laughed so hard. By the end of the meal, Dennis felt as though he was part of the family.

When they were finished eating, Bheilf pushed back his chair and stood. The male leaned down and kissed Hokr before patting his stomach. “Thank you for the meal, my mate.”

“Thank you, Hokr,” Dennis added. “The food was delicious.”

“Ragnon,” Bheilf said, turning his attention to his son. “I want to show you the new engine I acquired for our hovercraft.”

Bheilf and Ragnon excused themselves and disappeared out the front door into the desert heat. Dennis stood. He helped Hokr clear the table and washed the dishes. Hokr kept himself busy, straightening up the kitchen and dining area.

“I don’t think I’ve ever seen Ragnon so happy,” Hokr said. “It’s obvious that he has strong feelings for you.”

“I have strong feelings for Ragnon and Gogrek,” Dennis told him. He hadn’t been mated long, but Dennis knew that, with more time, he could easily fall in love. “I really care about your sons.”

“Have you given much thought to having young?”

Dennis stared at Hokr’s back and questioned, “Young?”

“Children,” Hokr said. “Do you want to have children?”

“I…uh…” In truth, Dennis hadn’t given it much thought. But the idea of having a family with Gogrek and Ragnon was appealing. “Yeah,” he said. “I’d like to have children someday.”

“It’s difficult for other species to become pregnant by our males, but it has happened.” He paused for a moment before asking, “When you were on Glecerus, you received a series of inoculations, right?”

  Dennis nodded. “Yeah.”

When he arrived on the planet of Glecerus, Dennis was scrubbed clean from head to toe, had all of his body hair removed with some sort of high-tech wand, and had a language implant inserted into his head. If that wasn’t bad enough, the Glecerians gave him a series of injections on his abdomen. It had hurt like hell.

“Those inoculations changed your body chemistry so that you can get pregnant and carry a child.”

Before leaving Earth, Dennis had read about Glecerus. He knew about the population shortage and their inability to have children with their own kind. Unfortunately, he hadn’t done any reading on Noglion. Dennis didn’t know anything about the planet he now called home. Hearing this news, knowing that he might be able to have children with his mates, gave Dennis hope for the future.

“I wonder why Gogrek didn’t tell me.”

“The males don’t usually talk about the possibility of having children with their mates, especially if they’re a different alien race, because pregnancy rarely happens.”

Suddenly a thought occurred to Dennis. “Gogrek and Ragnon may never have children because of me.”

Hokr spun around and faced Dennis. “Oh, no.” He shook his head. “That’s not what I meant at all.”

Dennis tried to smile, hoping to ease some of Hokr’s anxiety. The male seemed truly upset by Dennis’s comment.

“I’m sorry. I wasn’t thinking,” Hokr chastised himself. “I only wanted you to know that you could become pregnant.” The male reached out and took Dennis’s hand. “I truly believe that you will be blessed by the gods with children.”

  “Thank you.”

Hokr smiled. “I’ll say a special prayer for you at the rain festival.”

The male seemed so genuine that he made Dennis believe it was truly possible. Maybe one day in the future he would have a family with Gogrek and Ragnon.

The rest of the day went by quickly. As the suns set and the sky darkened, Ragnon and Dennis stepped outside. Dennis paused just outside and watched as the twin suns slowly disappeared below the horizon. When the sun disappeared, the temperature changed, dropping down significantly.

Ragnon took Dennis’s hand and led him toward the hovercraft. As soon as Ragnon was on the bike, Dennis climbed behind the male. Dennis waved to Hokr and Bheilf before wrapping his arms around Ragnon’s waist and laying his head against the male’s back.

On the journey back home, Dennis closed his eyes, and the hum of the hovercraft lulled him to sleep. He woke up when the bike stopped. Lifted his head, Dennis watched as the flight bay door rolled open, exposing bright overhead lights.

  * * * *

Ragnon pulled the hovercraft into the flight bay and cut the engine. Careful of the precious cargo sitting behind him, Ragnon climbed off the bike and helped Dennis down. When the human’s feet hit the ground, Ragnon removed the young man’s goggles and helmet. Dennis rubbed his face, smearing rust-colored dust across his cheeks and over his forehead. Ragnon smiled. He couldn’t help it. Dennis was adorable.

Ragnon led Dennis through the flight bay to the changing room. He removed the young man’s clothing, dropping the material to the floor. Once Dennis was naked, Ragnon reattached the leash to the collar. The male wrapped one arm behind Dennis’s back and hooked his other arm behind the young man’s knees. He lifted Dennis up with one smooth motion and cradled the human against his chest.

Ragnon strode out of the office and left the flight deck. He held his mate, keeping the young man against his chest as he headed back home. It didn’t take long for Dennis’s breathing to slow and change, signaling that he’d fallen asleep. When he got home, Ragnon lifted his hand and pressed it against the wall. The door slid open, and Ragnon stepped over the threshold.

“Is he okay?” Gogrek asked as soon as he spotted Ragnon.

“Yeah,” Ragnon whispered. “He’s just sleeping.”

Ragnon strolled over to the sitting area. He held Dennis firmly, careful not to jostle him too much as he sat down. Reclining back, Ragnon stared down at the young man cuddled against his chest, and his heart swelled. Dennis was perfect. Reaching out, Ragnon carefully ran a fingertip over the young man’s cheek, across his lips, and down his chin. He’s mine. He’s my pet. It was still hard for Ragnon to believe that Dennis was his mate.

“What did our fathers think of him?” Gogrek questioned, joining Ragnon in the main living area.

“As soon as they met him, they welcomed him to the family.”

“I’m sorry,” Gogrek said. “I wanted to join you, b
ut I wasn’t able to get away from work.”

“It’s okay.” Ragnon knew Gogrek was busy.

His older brother spent a lot of time at work. Since Gogrek was a high-ranking government official, the male rarely took time off, but Ragnon was hoping things would change now that Dennis was part of their lives.

“Do you have a game tomorrow evening?”

“Yeah.” Ragnon leaned his head back and yawned. “I’ve got practice in the morning. I was thinking about taking Dennis. I don’t want him to be stuck at home all day by himself.”

Gogrek shook his head. “I only have a meeting in the morning. I’ll take Dennis to the stadium.”

“I think he’ll enjoy the game.”

“Just be careful,” Gogrek warned. “I don’t think our mate will be happy if you get injured.”

  “What do you mean?”

Gogrek glanced down at Dennis. “He seems attached to you.”

“I feel the same way.” Ragnon sighed. He stared down at the handsome young man in his arms. “This human is my heart.”

“You have deep feelings for him.”

Ragnon nodded without taking his eyes off Dennis. The feelings were unbelievably strong.

  “The humans call it love.”

Glancing up, Ragnon looked at his bother in confusion.

“You’re in love with him,” Gogrek said. “The king’s consort, William, told me that humans call it love.”

“Love,” Ragnon murmured. He liked the sound of that word.

“Let’s bathe him, and then we can go to bed.”

  Ragnon nodded.

The male kept a firm hold on Dennis as he rose to his feet and strolled down the hall to the bathing chamber. Using one hand, he quickly removed his loincloth. The sandals were a bit difficult, but with some help from Gogrek, Ragnon managed to strip down while holding his pet. Ragnon waded through the bathing pool. He took a seat on the bench and carefully adjusted Dennis.

Gogrek grabbed the bottle of cleaning solution and poured a generous amount of the liquid gel into his hand. The male soaped up his hands before washing Dennis’s body. Their pet moaned but kept his eyes closed and his head buried in Ragnon’s throat.

“We’ve got to wash your hair, pet.”

Dennis made an unhappy sound in the back of his throat. It was obvious the young man didn’t want to move.

“You can keep your eyes closed.”

Ragnon moved Dennis so that Gogrek could wash the young man’s hair. They took their time caring for Dennis. After washing and rinsing their pet, they got out of the tub and dried off. Ragnon strode from the bathing chamber to their shared room. He placed Dennis on the center of the bed and lay down beside the young man. Gogrek took the other side.

“He’s so warm,” Gogrek whispered, pressing his chest against Dennis’s backside.

Ragnon tucked his arm beneath Dennis’s neck, pillowing the young man’s head. He stroked Dennis’s soft skin, petting him. It didn’t take long for Dennis to fall back to sleep. The young man’s breathing changed, and his body fell limp. Holding Dennis, Ragnon closed his eyes and fell asleep to his pet’s soft snores.

  Chapter Nine

Once again, Dennis woke up alone. He rolled out of bed and strolled through their home, looking for any sign of Ragnon and Gogrek. Instead of finding the males, Dennis found a note propped up on the kitchen counter.

My mate, you were sleeping so peacefully that we decided not to wake you. Ragnon needed to get to practice, and I had a meeting. This is your home. Please make yourself comfortable. If you need anything, you can reach me by comm. There was a series of pictures drawn on the paper with step by step instructions on how to use the comm. I’ll be home after my meeting. Gogrek.

Dennis sighed in disappointment as he dropped the piece of paper to the counter. He was really hoping to talk with Gogrek and Ragnon. Dennis still had so many questions. What was he supposed to do while the males were at work? Did he need to get a job? Was he allowed to work? Or was he expected to stay at home and take care of the house?

Unsure of what to do, Dennis decided to start with breakfast. Walking around the counter, Dennis opened the refrigerator and stared at the contents, trying to figure out what to eat. Eventually, he pulled out a tray layered with meat. Spinning around, Dennis placed the tray on the counter and lit the small grill. In a matter of minutes, the momoo was sizzling. Dennis inhaled the scent and moaned happily. It smelled delicious. He didn’t know what kind of animal it came from, but it was quickly becoming his favorite dish. When he was finished, Dennis cleaned up his mess.

Dennis wandered around his new home, taking a closer look at all of Gogrek and Ragnon’s belongings. He dragged his feet as he moved back down the hallway. When he reached a closed door, Dennis paused. Lifting his hand, he touched the wall, and the door slid open, granting him access.

As Dennis stepped inside the room, the lights turned on, and he muttered, “Wow.”

The walls were lined with weapons of all shapes and sizes. Some of the weapons looked archaic and well-used while others were shiny and high-tech. If not for the bed and a few large pieces of furniture, Dennis would assume that this room was an armory. It was easy to guess which of his mates this room belonged to. Ragnon. Dennis was tempted to look through the male’s things but decided against it. This was Ragnon’s private space, and Dennis didn’t want to intrude.

Turning on his heel, Dennis left the room and continued his journey down the hall. When he reached another closed door, Dennis paused. It was most likely Gogrek’s room.

  “You can go inside.”

Glancing over his shoulder, Dennis watched as Gogrek walked toward him. The male leaned down and kissed him.

  “Hello, pet.”

Dennis smiled at the male. “Hello, mate.”

“How are you? Did you sleep well?”

Dennis nodded. “How was your meeting?”

“I thought of you constantly, and I couldn’t wait to come home.”

Aww. Dennis’s heart swelled within his chest.

Gogrek pressed his hand against the wall, and the door slid open. The male wrapped his arm around Dennis’s waist and escorted him into the room. The lights turned on as soon as they stepped over the threshold. The golden hue made the room glow, giving it a regal appearance. Dennis strolled into the room, his eyes drawn to the beautiful artwork covering the walls. The paintings and drawings were of landscapes. Some were desert scenes while others were vividly colored jungles and oceans brimming with alien animals that Dennis had never seen before.

  “These are beautiful,” he said.

“Whenever I leave Noglion and travel to another planet, I buy a piece of art for my collection.”

Dennis turned and faced Gogrek. “These are actual places?”

  Gogrek nodded.

The male walked over to one of the paintings. It had tall trees and lush foliage. It was an array of different green tones. And within the trees, Dennis spotted wooden houses, and on the jungle floor, there was a huge alien-looking cat.

“This is the planet of Vupriri. It’s covered in plants. It also has a lot of wild beasts that roam the jungle floor, so the Vuprian people live in houses above the ground in trees.”

  “Wow,” Dennis murmured.

“There are a lot of beautiful places around the universe.”

  Dennis could only imagine.

“Next time I leave the planet, I’ll take you with me.”

Dennis’s eyes widened. “Are you serious?”

  Gogrek nodded.

Dennis couldn’t stop the smile from spreading across his lips. Just the idea of leaving Noglion and traveling to another planet made him giddy. Dennis moved closer to Gogrek. He placed his palms against the male’s chest and lifted himself up on his tiptoes. Gogrek met him halfway, connecting their lips. The male placed his right hand on Dennis’s back and the other around the back of Dennis’s neck. Gogrek held him close as they kissed. Their mouths moved in sync, and their tongues connected
.

Dennis moaned. He shifted, moving his hips, grinding his hardening shaft against Gogrek. The male dropped his hands and cupped Dennis’s ass. Without much effort, Gogrek lifted Dennis off his feet. Dennis wrapped his legs around the male’s waist. The male took a few steps before dropping down and placing Dennis on the bed. As soon as Dennis’s back hit the mattress, Gogrek pulled back. Dennis groaned his displeasure.

“Hold on,” Gogrek said, his voice thick with lust.

Dennis watched Gogrek tear off his long robe, loincloth, and sandals. Naked, the male moved toward the bed.

Without saying a word, Gogrek climbed onto the bed and situated himself between Dennis’s legs. The male licked the head of Dennis’s cock, sending a tingling sensation through his entire body. Dennis cried out and bucked his hips up off the bed.

“You taste good, pet,” Gogrek murmured.

Dennis moaned. He couldn’t form words when Gogrek’s wicked mouth was pleasuring him. Gogrek twirled his talented tongue around the crown before swallowing Dennis whole.

  Dennis shouted, “Fuck!”

The male sucked hard, his cheeks hollowing as he slid his mouth up and down Dennis’s length. Gogrek bobbed his head, and Dennis knew it wouldn’t be long before he found release.

“If you keep doing that, I’m gonna come,” Dennis warned.

Gogrek slowed his movements, keeping Dennis on edge, before releasing Dennis’s cock.

  “Not yet,” the male said.

Dennis whined pitifully. His body burned, and his cock ached for release. Gogrek licked his way up Dennis’s body, placing little love bites along his stomach and chest. Gogrek wrapped one hand around Dennis’s cock, massaging the hard flesh. The male’s other hand squeezed Dennis’s ass. He dragged a sharp nail against Dennis’s puckered hole before using the pad of his finger to draw circles. Goosebumps broke out along Dennis’s flesh, and he shuddered.

“Are you ready to have your ass stretched for me, pet?”

  Dennis cock twitched. “Please.”

Gogrek leaned back onto his knees and grabbed the toy from the bedside table. He used the natural lubricant from his cock to slick up the toy. The male pressed the bullet-shaped device against Dennis’s hole and slowly pushed it inside of him. The toy moved, growing and thickening, stretching him. Dennis shifted on the bed, moving his hips. He panted. His stomach muscles tightened, and his ass fluttered.
