Imogen stopped reading and let out a breath on a sigh as Thaddeus stepped flush against her, bending to nibble at her neck. He reached around to cup her breasts as well, kneading at first, then scooping his hand beneath her neckline to tease her nipple.
“How can I possibly read a letter from my sister with you tormenting me so?” Imogen asked, a laugh low in her throat.
“There will be time to read letters later,” Thaddeus said, plucking the paper from her and tossing it aside. With that done, he lifted her off her feet and spread her across the sofa once more. “Now, where were we?” he asked before disappearing under her skirts once more.
Imogen let out a cry as his mouth closed over her. She loved her sister dearly, but if there was one thing The Secrets of Love had taught her, it was that a woman needed to be bold in the pursuit of pleasure. Whatever Alice had to say, she would learn later. At the moment, she had a husband to love and be loved by.

I hope you have enjoyed Imogen and Thaddeus’s story! So all’s well that ends well for at least one of the Marlowe girls. But what about Alice and Lettuce? Are you curious about Alice and Fabian’s Christmas wedding? You can find out all about it now in The Holiday Hussy, my contribution to the Once Upon a Christmas Wedding box set!
And don’t worry, Lettuce’s story, The Captive Vixen, is coming in early January as part of the Once Upon a Pirate box set. Which means, yes, a sexy pirate is indeed involved!

Merry Farmer is an award-winning novelist who lives in suburban Philadelphia with her cats, Torpedo, her grumpy old man, and Justine, her hyperactive new baby. She has been writing since she was ten years old and realized one day that she didn't have to wait for the teacher to assign a creative writing project to write something. It was the best day of her life. She then went on to earn not one but two degrees in History so that she would always have something to write about. Her books have reached the Top 100 at Amazon, iBooks, and Barnes & Noble, and have been named finalists in the prestigious RONE and Rom Com Reader’s Crown awards.
