Expose: A Secret Baby Sports Romance Page 3

“You want me, you want me bad. Don't you?" he asked her drunkenly.

“Yes, oh… yes…” the girl moaned. She grabbed a fistful of his shaggy hair as she screamed against his neck.

It didn't take up to a minute for Lucas to get her panties out of the way. His hands roamed up her legs, starting from her knees and as he got to her sticky thighs, he felt her shudder. He looked at her as he deftly flicked her clit and she arched her back towards me.

"Please..." She moaned. "Now. I need..."

  "Soon..." He groaned.

He trailed kisses down her body, on her breasts and stomach. He got to her wetness and delved his tongue in, biting her clit lightly. She arched against him and screamed loudly.

Lucas groaned. He was about to explode and he had more than enough of the foreplay. He needed to be inside her and the fact that she was already so wet for him turned him on more than ever.

He went lower and held her legs apart. Impatient and feeling like he was going to burst, without thinking, he thrust his unsheathed cock into her opening. Lucas was so overcome with lust and pleasure that he never noticed that she was tight. He started thrusting rhythmically and his thrusts became faster and faster and she held on to his shoulders, digging her nails in like she was holding on for dear life. She kept moaning and he felt her build up. The girl hooked her legs around his hips and moved along with him.

As Lucas thrust into her over and over again, he started sucking her breasts and she clung to his hair. They both shuddered together as they felt the orgasm crest through each of them. They came down together and in a matter of a few minutes, Lucas began thrusting into her again and she bit into his shoulder to muffle her cries. He was not done yet. He wanted her more and more. No, he had not had his fill.

In his drunken state and because of how great the sex was, the best he had had in a while if he was being honest, Lucas was oblivious to the fact that the girl he had just slammed hard was a virgin.

The exhausted pair rolled off each other and sighed in satisfaction as they breathed heavily. They were both a wet, slick mess and in a few minutes, they were fast asleep.

Sunrays filtering into the room through the half open blinds woke Lucas up. He blinked as soon as the warmth hit his face and impulsively, he raised his hand to block his face. What was going on? He wondered. He tried to sit up but then, pains shot through his head. Whoa, it had been a really wild night. He thought to himself.

The girl! As soon as the thought crossed his head, he groaned inwardly as he thought about how he was going to get rid of her. He hoped she was not going to want to stay for breakfast because he had no interest in that. He turned around and saw that the side of the bed where she had slept was empty. The only sign that someone had been there was the messy hollow. Lucas heaved a sigh of relief because he just was not in the state for a confrontation

He had woken up a night after banging a girl to find her hoping for breakfast and then, a relationship. No way, that was not it. Why could they never understand the definition of a one-night stand? They were what they were. There were no awkward goodbyes and certainly no empty promises. The aim was simply to have some no-strings attached sex and be off. If it was with a stranger it was way better. Simply put, it was wham, bang, out, thank you ma'am. Apparently, the girl from last night had gotten the message. She had not deluded herself into thinking that the hot and steamy sex that they had was the precursor to a beautiful and long-lasting relationship. That was good.

Time to get started on the day, Lucas told himself. He tried to get up again and though he succeeded this time, he still groaned from the pain pounding through his head. He staggered to the bathroom and opened the medicine cabinet. Gratefully, he threw the aspirin back with some water. When he was sure that he was strong enough to stand without falling and crushing his skull against tiles, he slipped into the shower and had a long and cold bath, something to help clear his head and help with his hangover.

Once he was dressed in fresh clothes, he stepped out and surveyed the room. The covers were messed up, reminding him of the previous night’s events and he could not help the smile that crept up his lips. He raised his hand and scratched his hair. Heck, that had been some great sex. He would not deny it. Well, enough of that, he told himself.

He left the room and headed out to the hallway. The halls were littered with beer bottles, cans, food crumbs, disposable cups, and even people, most of them his team members. He laughed heartily when he found a naked teammate and a similarly naked girl in the Jacuzzi. When he got to the living area, his eyes widened. It was as if a bulldozer had run over it. Well, it was a good thing they had a cleaning crew on speed dial. They had gotten involved in a lot of these situations and had lost count.

Lucas found his way to the kitchen and saw that a few of his teammates were already up.

"Any coffee here?" He asked as he walked farther into the kitchen. It was still a disaster zone but better than other parts of the house.

They looked at him and then, broke into laughter.

"What?" Lucas rolled his eyes as he settled into a barstool. "Anyone with a brain would know that he was supposed to stock up on coffee and not just booze."

"And you don't have a brain because you didn't mention it," Colin said and the others laughed

Lucas groaned and got to his feet, "Those morons in the hall better wake up. They seem to have forgotten that we have practice today."

"We look like hell, there is no way we can do anything about it," Huey said with a shrug.

"Then does that mean you'll just miss practice? Better to go there washed up than not go at all. You know how coach gets. I don't need to tell you. You’ve been on the receiving side of the brunt of his anger plenty of times. Gotta go, guys."

Lucas stepped out onto the front porch and before he set off the porch, he slipped on a pair of dark shades. The sun was desperate to punish him today. He crossed the lawn in long strides and got to his car. Just as he was about to unlock it, he heard quiet breathing. Lucas rolled his eyes as he could only think of one person who would be so drunk that he would sleep outside because he could not tell the difference between inside a house and a wet lawn.

He rounded his car and true to his prediction, he found Thinko there. The drunk player was holding a bottle of vodka as he snored loudly, his back against a car. Lucas sighed loudly. If Thinko emptied that bottle of vodka, then they were all in trouble. He was still feeling so wasted what more Thinko and judging from the empty bottles at his feet, the bottle in his hand was not his only one.

After ten minutes of kicking and shoving, Lucas was able to get Thinko into the house and with the help of some of the other guys; they were able to get him into the shower stall.

"Cold water should cool him down!" Lucas called as he hurried out.

If he had any chance of still getting that shot of caffeine before practice, he had to leave now. Thinko had only helped in cutting his time. He settled behind the steering wheel and shot out of Green Grove.

As he drove, his eyes flitted around as he searched for a business that would satisfy his desperation to feel a little bit more awake. He finally drove into the parking lot of a coffee shop. He pushed the glass doors open and stepped into a warm and cheery looking room, one that certainly did not match his mood. Just as he made to walk towards the counter, he caught a reflection of himself on a mirror hoisted on the door. Lucas' eyes widened as he realized how messed up he looked. He had thought he looked terrible but he had certainly not envisioned that it was that bad.

He had taken off the shades and he could see his red-rimmed blue eyes. His hair was all spikes and as he stood there, he tried to make it presentable but it was uncooperative. Just then, an image flashed through his mind. It was of a very naked someone tugging at his hair and he felt a stir in his loins. He shook his head and headed towards the counter. Now was not the time to be thinking about sex with a stranger that he was probably never going to see again. It had been what it was. Great sex with
a stranger. Lucas was someone who never liked going back to one girl. Once he was done, he was done. He didn't need to fuck that woman again but as he placed his order, he knew one thing for certain. He would tap that again if given the chance.

After standing in line for almost thirty minutes and dozing off and almost falling flat on his face three times, Lucas finally emerged from the cafe, wielding his prize- a steaming Styrofoam cup of coffee. He headed towards the parking lot and once he settled in, he took a sip of the coffee. He almost spat it out because of how horrible it tasted. His narrowed eyes flittered to the sign above the cafe he had just exited- Your Delicious Delights. So much for delicious, he muttered as he stepped on the gas. He would just have to manage with the coffee he had. Bad coffee was better than no coffee, everybody knew that.

Lucas got out of his car and looked around the underground garage of the stadium. This part of it was reserved for players, the bigwigs and staff. He looked over the cars that were there and sighed in relief when he saw that his coach's car was absent. It was one thing to go to practice hungover but to go late as well, the punishment for that was one he had experienced firsthand.

"Good morning, Bobby, how was your night?" Lucas asked Bobby Kates. Bobby worked the front desk of the stadium and he was their team’s manager as well. Lucas couldn't always help but admire his carriage. Lucas estimated that he was probably in his early fifties yet he moved like someone who was at the peak of his teen years, with an additional spring to his steps. He was more than efficient at keeping screaming fans and nosy reporters at bay. Lucas believed that he excelled so well at his job because he genuinely cared about the game and the boys and they cared for him too.

"It went very well, Lucas. And judging from the way you look, you got more than enough fun last night," Bobby said in a voice somewhere between sternness and amusement. Lucas could never really tell what he was thinking.

He chuckled nervously as he scratched the back of his head. Although he had not seen the car, he still wanted to confirm, so he asked, "Is he here yet?"

"Ward? Oh no. He is probably taking his dear sweet time knowing how wild you all can get on weekends," Bobby said with a shrug.

"Right, right..." Lucas said and started heading off but Bobby's voice cut through the air, stopping him.

"I'll be introducing you to someone later. Don’t forget!"

Lucas could not remember what the man was talking about because there was a part of his brain still muddled with alcohol. As Lucas headed to the locker room, it dawned on him that he really did not know so much about Bobby Kates' life. He didn't think any of the guys actually did. All they were hundred percent sure about was that he was not married and Lucas had to attribute that to being a personal decision. With the way Bobby looked, he was still a catch for the ladies- he had heard whispers- there was no doubt he had been a heartthrob when he was younger. So why hadn't he gotten married? Bobby did not seem like a player but hey, he could not really tell about back then, could he?

Lucas pushed open a door and mentally slapped himself. Here he was, soon about to be grilled by the coach and he was thinking about Bobby's life.

Lucas entered the locker room and his mouth almost fell open. Most of the guys had not even tried to look better. It was just a select few, including him who had tried to make themselves presentable, yet they still looked a mess, and there were more of those who had not bothered making an attempt. Lucas sighed out of exhaustion as he found a space for himself on a bench. He felt too tired to even warm up.

He looked around the room, at the shaggy heads of hair, at the red-rimmed eyes and some desperate attempts to hide them with shades, and he took in the slumped and lazy postures of the guys. Uh oh, coach was going to love this.

As if on cue, the door to the locker room suddenly flung open and the players hurried to get themselves in better position. The large man who entered the room looked around with narrowed eyes and Lucas groaned inwardly as coach pointed his thumb in the direction of the field. They all knew what that meant. They were to head out and wait for the next commands. They didn't have to be told that they had to obey quietly. Silence and obedience was the watchword.

As soon as they were all out on the field, the torture began. In few words, being a man of few words himself, Coach made his intentions known to them. He was going to drill them until they vomited. Without hesitation, they began. And vomit they did.

  Chapter 4

  Amanda

How could you be so stupid? Amanda asked herself for the umpteenth time that morning. Her hands shook as she raised the mug of coffee to her lips. It took all her efforts to keep the liquid from spilling over onto her hand. The previous night was very much unlike her. She was usually coolheaded and never made such impulsive decisions; heck, that was May’s job. No, she had not actually been saving her virginity for marriage or anything like that; it was just that, she had certainly not planned to lose it to some stranger, someone that she had never met before, a random guy that she doubted she would ever see again.

Wrapping her arms around the mug, she closed her eyes as she thought over the events of the previous night. As much as she would love to put all the blame on the alcohol that she had, she knew it would be unfair, to her and to the drink. The truth was that she had wanted the stranger every bit as much as he wanted her. He had completely turned her on. The only difference was the liquid courage brought about by the alcohol. On a norm, she certainly would not have easily opened up to some random stranger and allowed certain fantasies come true but with the alcohol, she had been completely relaxed. She would not deny the fact that she had felt like eating up the stranger as soon as she saw him. She had just denied her feelings because, one, she was desperately in search of the player she was supposed to be shadowing back then and two, it was completely out of character for her to voice how much she liked a guy-which was not very often- so she had kept her mouth shut.

After a night of hot and steamy sex, they had both fallen asleep. She had woken up in the early hours of the morning and did, what was it called? The walk of shame? Yeah, that was it. There was no way she could have faced him in the morning without some of that liquid courage, she knew herself. And she was no alcoholic. And she did not need to confuse things. No matter how great their sex was, no matter how much they moved in sync when fucking, it remained what it was, a one night stand. She had not thought that it would lead to anything beyond that when she had spread her legs for him. But she had still thrown caution to the wind. Maybe for one night she had decided to be wild. She groaned. Why had she not stayed in her comfort zone? Why didn’t she stay within her niche? That was way more comfortable for her.

“A penny for your thoughts,” May said and Amanda jumped up. She looked at her sister’s amused face and glared at her.

“You have got to stop doing that, May. The shock you cause me one of these days might just be the death of me,” she reproached her sister.

“Don’t talk about death so lightly,” May said as she settled into the bar stool next to her sister’s. Amanda opened her mouth to say something but May interrupted her, changing the topic. “So how was the party? Did you get to see the quarterback that you were after? And what time did you get back? I went to bed around two am and you still weren’t back. You must have had a lot of fun.”

Amanda jumped to her feet and picked up her plate and her mug, heading to the sink and dropping them inside. She made a fuss of turning on the tap and she started rinsing them out. She had to keep her back to her sister. May could always see right through her and would know something was up the minute she saw her face. So, she settled for the offensive.

“What is this? Twenty-one questions?” she asked in a grunting tone.

“Nope. Just me trying to know how your night went. You were so nervous that I was pretty worried for most of the night,” May replied sounding a little concerned.

Amanda paused and then, she shook her heads, “Sorry I got you worried, sis. The night was okay. And no, I di
dn’t get to meet him. The place was packed with people. I never stood a chance, especially since I had no idea what he looked like.”

Amanda heard the sigh in her sister’s voice as she said, “Only you would forget that very important detail. Anyway, how was the party then? Did you have fun? I hope you didn’t spend most of the night sulking and feeling sad that you couldn’t find him.”

“Oh no, not at all. That was actually the last thing on my mind,” Amanda blurted out.

“What?” May asked, a brow quirked.

Amanda spun around and dried her hands on a napkin, “I’ve got to tell you, sis. There is no way I can keep this to myself. I feel so guilty and I need someone to tell me that I haven’t just made the worst mistake of my life.”

“What happened, Mandy?” May asked, her face shrouded in concern. She pulled her sister towards her and sat her on the stool next to her. “Did you kill somebody?”

“Oh for crying out loud, was that the only thing that crossed your mind? Seriously?!”

“What?” May shrugged. “I intend to come and confide in you the day I hit someone and run, and I would not mind if that someone is Harrington Schmidt.”

Amanda rolled her eyes. Harrington had been a very infuriating professor of May’s. When they were in college, there was not a day that went by that May did not mention the man’s name groaning and lamenting about how mean he was. It was a happy day in Amanda’s life when her sister saw her results for Harrington’s courses. Finally, she had thought to herself, one year of being tortured, listening to complaints concerning him was finally over. And now, the name was back in their lives.

“I think everyone would suspect that it is you, it is public knowledge that you hate him,” Amanda told her.

“You think? Well it is not a good idea then. Anyway, if it was not murder, I doubt it was theft. So, what did you do?” As she patiently waited for her answer, May poured a glass of juice for herself and raised it to her lips to take a sip.
