A Time of Deceit: Revelation Page 9

by William Cushing

Bill, Sheila and Mary had wrapped what remained of Higby and Luther with heavy duty plastic and duct tape. They loaded the bodies onto Bill’s truck and drove out to a remote area of the Nantahala National Forest in western North Carolina. After digging a deep whole they dumped both bodies in and filled it with earth. They pounded the earth down until the grave was level with the surrounding ground and then placed leaves and fallen branches over the grave. Nobody was going to find the grave.

Bill’s wife had talked Sheila and Mary into staying with she and Bill for a while. They all knew that it was too dangerous to return to D.C. They were now thinking about joining the group.

Congressman Higby’s disappearance did not make the nightly news. What was reported is that Congressman Higby had been diagnosed with a terminal illness and had retired from Congress. The Governor of California quickly appointed a replacement. Of course the replacement was an alien. He moved right into Higby’s former residence.

Feldman’s former cable news employer quickly appointed a replacement. Again, an alien. He was assigned to the same editor that Feldman had been assigned to.

The disappearance of Higby, Luther and Feldman got the attention of the Leader, but he had more pressing issues on his plate.

Queen Madeline and the other underworld leaders knew that the Leader would be striking back at them and the Ghouls. They were preparing themselves. They had decided to be offensive rather than defensive.

The Leader was busy preparing his revenge on the underworld leaders. He knew he was running out of time. His survival was at stake.

The Supreme Council called Sara before them. They wanted to know how the Leader and she were going to guarantee control of a Country whose citizens owned over 300 million weapons. The Supreme Council knew that it would be difficult for them to prevail against that many weapons if the citizens acted together against them. They were concerned that the underworld creatures would form a new Alliance with the humans. They knew that would destroy their control in that Country. It could contaminate the rest of the world.

The Council’s final question to Sara was, “Why did the Leader act to destroy the underworld leadership?”

Sara’s response was, “I do not know.”

The secret group within the intelligence community that was monitoring the aliens had decided that it was time for them to be more aggressive. They had quietly followed the aliens for decades and had documented that many humans in government, academia and the media had been knowingly working with the aliens. That was treason. It was time to systematically eliminate the traitors. Special assassination teams had to be put together.

The Deputy Director of the FBI was continuing his efforts to locate the men who had taken the women from Higby’s place. He was getting close. He had to quickly put this to bed and eliminate the men and women. Some of his staff were beginning to ask questions about his order to locate the men and women. They wanted to know why. The women were missing persons. That was normally handled locally. The men had not done anything criminal. So why the need for a high powered search. The Deputy Director made up a flimsy national security argument for them. It didn’t hold up under scrutiny. His staff continued to ask questions. He knew time was running out on this. He would have to shut the search down soon.
