Wrapped Page 7

by Viola Grace

Wrapped hadn’t ever been used as an example before. It felt weird. They followed Made, but she was moving at an alarming speed. Forecast was leaving a trail of blood.

The sentence drifted back to her. “Anything for the team.”

Forecast, from their briefing, could see her own timeline. If she was willing to fight this hard in a trial, there was no doubt that she would be a monster in a fight.

As they followed the other two to medical, she fell into step with the other ladies, and she knew what it felt like. She knew the sensation. They were a team, and each step was bringing them closer to working as a unit.

They were going to be closer than family. Wrapped could feel it.

  Author’s Note

So ends the 4th book of Team Eight: Origins. Whew. These are going fast.

Weirdly enough, I am working on rushing these because I want to lock in my universe before the new series comes out in late July on amazon prime. I don’t want to conflate my superheroes with their superheroes. I want to still feel good about supers. Without that, this all falls apart.

See you soon for Mini Max.

  About the Author

Viola Grace (aka Zenina Masters) is a Canadian sci-fi/paranormal romance writer with ambitions to keep writing for the rest of her life. She specializes in short stories because the thrill of discovery, of all those firsts, is what keeps her writing.

An artist who enjoys a story that catches you up, whirls you around, and sets you down with a smile on your face is all she endeavours to be. She prefers to leave the drama to those who are better suited to it, she always goes for the cheap laugh.

In real life, she now is engaged in beekeeping, and her adventures can be found on the YouTube channel, Mystery Bees Apiary. Just look for the cartoon kittens.
