Once again, she was unsure of what to say, so she remained quiet. Ollie was embarrassing the hell out of her, talking to her like that.

“You hear me, baby? You want me to lick your pussy? All you gotta say is yes or no.”

“Yes,” her voice came out a little hoarse.

Ollie smiled and lowered himself until his face was directly in front of her love box. He licked from the bottom to the top in one movement and her body jerked. He did this again before he really went to work. He was sucking and licking her like crazy. She tried to suppress her moans, but when he started kissing it like he did the other night, she couldn’t take it anymore. She bit her bottom lip, but somehow a moan still escaped. Her body shook with pleasure as her fluids escaped her warm tunnel, coating his lips and chin.

“Umm, that’s that shit,” Ollie said with her pearl still in his mouth. The vibrations from his voice made her body tingle even more.

When he sat up, he wiped his mouth and positioned himself on top of her. Although he didn’t want to use a condom, he got one anyway. He fucked around a lot, and he didn’t want to raw dog her and taint her innocence. He tapped the inside of her thigh with the head of his dick.

  “Open up for me, Phoenix.”

She scooted back and spread her legs wider.

Ollie slid the first few inches in and she squeezed her thighs closed. He forced the rest of his dick in while holding her arms down to the bed.

“Oh Fuck… ah shit… umm, damn baby.” Ollie was moaning like crazy. He tried to hold it down a little because he felt like a bitch, but her pussy was too fucking good. It was gripping every time he slid in and out.

He stroked her body slowly, trying to get her accustomed to the fit. When he looked down at her face, she had her eyes closed, so he made her open them. She looked at him as he moved in out of her body.

Phoenix wrapped her arms and legs around his body and pulled him to her. They were chest to chest as he rocked her body. The pain subsided some, but it still didn’t feel good. She wanted him to hurry and finish, but she enjoyed being in this position with him. She was finally starting to loosen up when she felt his muscles tense.

“Fuck!” he yelled as his body jerked subtly.

Phoenix’s eyes were glued to him. She wanted to see this. After he got himself together, he pulled her to him and kissed her forehead.

“I’m definitely bodying that nigga you was with now.”

Phoenix didn’t even say anything. She closed her eyes, squeezed her thighs together and fell back to sleep.

  Chapter 5

“Y’all niggas wild as fuck! Why the fuck would y’all even do that shit?” Zino asked Tone and Ollie as they all sat in the living room playing the game.

“I got mad when they started shooting. Hell they thought we were? Shooting at us like they had some fucking rank,” Ollie ranted.

“This ignorant ass nigga here. I was just covering for his crazy ass.” Tone threw the game controller on the sofa and took a swig of his beer.

“What y’all talking about? What did y’all do?” Phoenix came down the stairs and into the living room with the rest of them.

The room got quiet as she took a seat on the sofa. They weren’t about to tell her shit and she knew it. They never talked about blood fests with her. She was too fucking dramatic and they didn’t have time for that shit today. Tone looked over at Zino and Ollie and shook his head no.

  “Oh, so I can’t know?”

  “Hell nah.”

“Forget y’all then. I don’t care.” She tucked her feet under her body and ice grilled each one of them.

Ollie watched her glare move across each of them, pausing at him and Tone. “I know whatever it was, it was y’all two and Tek’s wild ass. Where that nigga at anyway?”

“Hell if I know. His ass left early as hell this morning,” Tone said

“You didn’t ask where he was going?”

“Nah, that’s a grown man. We don’t need to know his whereabouts.”

Phoenix waved them off and picked up her phone. She had an incoming call from Jamar. She hesitated for a minute, but decided to pick it up just before it hung up.

  “Hello.”

“I swear I ain’t think you was gon’ pick up.”

Phoenix held her head down so the boys couldn’t see her blush. “Stop that.”

He laughed a little before speaking again. “What’s going on, gorgeous? How you feeling today?”

“I’m good, just chilling at the house with my brothers.”

“Oh, tell them niggas I said what’s up.”

Phoenix laughed at that. He was crazy as hell if he thought she was about to do that. She tried to stop laughing but she couldn’t. When she looked up, she wished she had controlled herself because Ollie’s eyes were on her. She could see the fire behind them as he stared at her.

Looking away, she and got up from the couch. Halfway up the stairs, she could hear them saying something about who she was on the phone with.

“Jamar, you’re silly. What you doing today?”

“I want to see you, but I got a few runs to make. Can you make time for me?”

“Umm, I don’t know. My brothers just got back in town, so they’re going to be here all day. It may be a little hard to sneak away.”

“Come on, Phoenix, five minutes. I just want to see you.”

  “Five minutes?”

“Just five, maybe a kiss too, but if not I guess I’ll have to be okay with that for now.”

Phoenix smiled again. “Okay, call me when you’re ready to meet.”

  “Bet.”

Phoenix hung up her phone and set it on the counter. She was bent over, looking in the refrigerator when she felt someone pressed against her butt. It had to be Ollie. Nobody else in the house would have done no shit like that.

“You ain’t gon’ stop until I kill that nigga for real, are you?”

“What are you talking about, Oliver?”

“I know that’s who you were on the phone with. I guess I didn’t go deep enough last night, if you still feel good enough to talk to another nigga.”

Ollie pulled her back and closed the door to the refrigerator. With her face lying against the cold door, he pressed his body into hers before grabbing her hands. He held one, while pulling the other one behind her and placing it on his dick. She squeezed it lightly before rubbing up and down. He leaned down so his lips were on her neck and kissed it.

  “Stop talking to that nigga.”

  “Why?”

  “You don’t need him.”

  “How do you know that?”

“You got me.” He sucked on the back of her neck, leaving a dark red mark on it.

“Not really because we can’t be together.”

Ollie’s body went frigid. She’d obviously hit a nerve because he dropped her hands and stepped away from her. When she turned around to look at him, he was frowning.

  “What’s wrong, Ollie?”

  “That’s how you feel?”

  “Is what how I feel?”

“Do you feel like we can’t be together?”

Phoenix stood silent for a moment, trying to gather her thoughts. She looked all around the kitchen, trying to figure out what to say next. This sounded too much like a trick question.

  “Answer me.”

“I mean, I want to, but Tone—”

He cut her off before she could say anything else. “Fuck all that shit, tell me how you feel.” He was leaning against the counter with his arms folded across his chest.

  “I want you, Ollie.”

She could see his body relax some before he nodded his head.

“Well quit that nigga and wait on me.”

“Wait on you? Do you hear yourself?” Phoenix turned around and went to the sink to wash the dishes. Ollie had life all kinds of messed up. They couldn’t be together. Why he couldn’t understand that was beyond her.

  “Fuck it then, do you.”

  “I will.”

>   Ollie stormed out of the kitchen and went back downstairs. Phoenix’s attitude was the worst. For her to be so sweet and innocent, her ass could be downright mean. In his mind, breaking her off with her first piece of dick would have her doing whatever he said, but clearly that wasn’t happening. Now he was even more frustrated with himself because he’d opened her to a whole different world. She’d had sex with him, so now she might have sex with that fuck ass nigga she’d been talking to. Ollie punched the wall as he hopped down the stairs.

“Aye y’all niggas wanna hit this basketball game at the rec?” Tone looked around the room, waiting for responses.

“I’m with it. I bet it’s going to be hella bitches out there.” Zino rubbed his hands together and smiled.

“That’s all you care about, Twin,” Phoenix grabbed the vacuum from the closet and walked to plug it up.

“Shit, that’s all he needs to care about. It’s hot too, it’s about to be ass and titties everywhere. I’m in that bit.” Ollie dapped Zino up.

Phoenix’s eyes turned into slits as she rolled them at him. Ollie knew she was pissed, so he kept going.

“I’m trying to find me at least two or three of those hoes to fuck. Maybe we can get us a little three-way action going on.”

Tone got up from the floor and slapped hands with Ollie. “Now that’s the shit I’m on right there.”

“Y’all so disrespectful it don’t make no sense.”

“See, baby sis, that’s why we try to keep you on such a short leash. Niggas ain’t shit.” Tone made all of the men laugh.

Phoenix, on the other hand, didn’t find anything funny. She moved Tone’s arm off of her shoulder and turned the vacuum on. She needed to drown out their childish foolishness. Ignoring everything they were saying, she commenced to cleaning up until she felt a pillow hit her in the back. She flipped the vacuum off and turned around to look at them.

Bear was smiling his biggest smile. “You coming with us, Fe?”

“So I can watch y’all drool over half naked, busted weave having, Chinese store tights wearing ass hoes? Thank you, but I think I’ll pass.”

The men were laughing at her hysterically. “Damn, baby sis, you just went in quick as hell.”

“I’m for real, Tone. I’m not going. Y’all always do that shit. Have me tagging along with y’all like I’m a kid. I never have fun when we’re out. Bitches be eyeing me like I’m sleeping with all of y’all, and the niggas be scared to even glance my fucking way. I’m not going.”

Phoenix turned her back and continued to vacuum. They all stared at her for a minute before laughing and making jokes behind her back. She didn’t care though; all she knew was she was staying her ass right at home.

  *****

The street leading to the rec was packed to the max. There were so many cars lining both sides of the road that they could barely get through. The sidewalk was jam packed with people. Some were standing off to the side or in the grass, while others were in the middle of the street like they were right. Various tents were scattered around with smoke coming from them. They had coolers and lawn chairs here and there for people to sit on.

Phoenix looked out the back window of Tone’s black on black Titan as they searched for somewhere to park. The music beating from his truck could have been heard a mile away. That’s why she wasn’t surprised when she noticed people turning around to see who was coming. Some screamed their greetings while they received cold stares from others. Same shit, different day, Phoenix thought as she watched a group of niggas dressed in blue eyeballing them. She shot their asses a bird and rolled her eyes. Today was not the day, anybody that wanted it would get it. How she’d ended up down here anyway when she’d continuously told them she wasn’t coming was still a mystery to her. Somehow, she always let them talk her into chilling with them.

“It’s packed as shit out here,” Tone said as he maneuvered his way into the parking space.

“Hell yeah. It’s almost too fucking packed,” Ollie said.

When Tone killed the engine, Phoenix was the first one out. She closed the door and pulled her shorts down. They had gathered between her thighs while she’d been sitting down. She looked in the window and fixed the headband around her head. She’d wand curled her hair and pushed it back with a band. It was big and curly, the way she liked it. The lavender colored crop and dark blue shorts were fitting her body. Her flat stomach and long legs were on full display. Once she was satisfied with the way she looked, she walked over to Tek’s red old school cutlass. It was sitting almost as high as Tone’s truck because of the big ass rims he had on it. He, Zino, and Bear had ridden together, while she rode with Tone and Ollie.

“What’s taking so long for y’all to get out?”

“Gotta strap up. You know this.” Tek’s gold grill was shining as he talked.

“Oh okay. Let me go make sure these fools are doing the same.” She walked back to Tone’s truck just as he and Ollie were getting out. She was about to ask them did they have their heat but stopped when she saw Ollie pulling his shirt over his gun, and Tone sticking his in the holster on his ankle.

“You got your piece, Fe?” Ollie ran his hand across her stomach.

“Yeah, in my bag. I’m about to grab it out the back.”

She opened the back door and retrieved her small leopard print mail bag purse and her shades. Her glock had been packed in there since she’d finished getting dressed. After applying a little more lip gloss, she slid her shades over her face and closed the door. The boys were standing in front of Tek’s car waiting on her. Once they were all set and ready, they headed across the street. Tone, Ollie and Zino were in front of her while Bear and Tek held up the rear.

“Baby sis, come walk up here by us. I don’t have time to rock one of these niggas for being slick.”

“Her lil’ hot ass probably want these niggas to look at her.”

Phoenix shot Ollie a bird before stepping between him and Tone. “Fuck you, Oliver.”

“Damn nigga she hit your ass with the government.” Zino laughed.

They were all laughing and playing until they approached the court. Everybody in the city knew the Zoo Crew, so when people moved out of their way as they walked, or whispered under their breath, it didn’t surprise Phoenix. Tone made sure they kept their game faces on at all times. He was always going on and on about not letting any potential opponents see your weak side.

As they headed to the back of the court to sit on the empty bleachers Phoenix took in the scene. Being with her brothers always made her feel invincible. Appearing untouchable was what she liked the most. Anybody that got out of line with her was biting the dust, and that was a fact. All the bitches envied her and all the niggas probably feared her simply because of her association with the crew.

“Y’all want to sit right here?” Phoenix asked when she saw two rows of empty bleachers.

“Y’all go ahead, I’ ma stand right here,” Bear stood off to the side so that he had the perfect view of the entire park.

They hadn’t been sitting down for a good ten minutes when a group of women sauntered by. The dresses they had on looked terrible as hell. They were all too thick, and their asses were too fucking big to have on those little ass clothes. Even though their attire was wack as fuck, in Phoenix’s opinion, they were kind of cute. Just thirsty as all hell. They had brought their big asses and stood directly in front of her, now she couldn’t see the court.

“See, this is why I didn’t want to come. These thot pocket ass bitches too fucking thirsty.”

Zino egged her on. “Which ones, twin?”

She pointed at the girls. “Them hoes right there. Clearly they want y’all to see em’, but they act like their made out of fucking glass. I can’t see shit around all that cellulite hanging out them ugly ass dresses,”

By now, Phoenix was fuming, and the crew was getting a kick out of it. They were laughing and shit like she was a comedian.

“Well, tell them to move then, baby
sis.”

She looked back at Tone and smiled before looking at all of them. They were all looking at her, waiting for her to start some shit.

“This is why I can’t fuck with y’all. Y’all niggas love to see me act up.” She was smiling at them, but had just gotten up to walk over to the girls.

She looked behind her and all of their messy asses were smiling and waiting for her to approach the girls. She swore sometimes they put her up to shit just because they knew she could throw the hands with anybody and come out on top. For her to be as small as she was, she was a beast when it came to that fighting shit. When she was close enough to the girls, she tapped one of them on her shoulder.

“Umm, can y’all please move? Y’all came and stood right in front of me, and now I can’t see the game.”

The one with the long pink weave looked at her frowned. “Bitch you better gone with that shit.”

Her sidekick with the ugly red lipstick joined in. “Don’t nobody care if you can’t see. You better get your ass up and move.”

“Y’all bitches must not know who I am.”

“We don’t give a fuck who you are. You don’t run shit over here,” pink weave answered.

Phoenix chuckled before turning around to face the Zoo. She held her hands up in the air and smiled. “Y’all niggas ain’t even right for sending me over here to fuck with this rat pack.”

She and her boys were laughing like crazy, making a mockery out of the fear people had of them when pink weave punched Phoenix in the back of her head. Before she could land another punch, Phoenix had turned around and wrapped her arm around her neck. She used her foot to trip her up, and they both went to the ground. She grabbed a handful of the pink weave and began punching her in the face. The girl was trying her hardest to claw at Phoenix’s face, but she couldn’t because Phoenix was sitting on top of her.

“Talk your shit now,” Phoenix screamed as she punched her again.

“Get this bitch off me,” Pink weave yelled to nobody in particular. Not even her friends were trying to help.

Phoenix stood up and kneed her in the face a few times before she felt herself being lifted in the air. She didn’t even bother to see who it was because she already knew it was Bear. She could smell his cologne. Aside from that, she already knew her boys wasn’t letting anybody outside of the Zoo Crew put their hands on her. While she was in the air, she smiled and held her arms up, pretending to flex her muscles.
