Aqusate Province – Southern Coastal States. Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana, with a panhandle that includes some of Arkansas.
Aradia Province - The new capitol province. It holds the Royal Palace Sarrendius and is now inhabited by the king. Includes Lower Washington State, Oregon, and parts of Idaho, California and Nevada.
Arbormida - Situated in Arbormontis, upper northwest area of Washington State, where all of the trees are thickest and overlooking the Pacific Ocean.
Arbormontis Province - Ruled by Duke Benedict, one of the King’s closest friends. Located on the west coast, pacific Northwest. Florence, Oregon North to Alaska.
Belverantay Province – A large area that is home to Felgar. In this dimension it is comprised of Maine, Vermont and some of New Hampshire.
Benkdeno Province – Home to Dullhurt, one of the smaller Provinces. Consisting of Ohio and part of Pennsylvania
Castra – Barracks of the Regius Custos, it surrounds the entrance to the dungeons and also houses the elite training center for the guard.
Derakidus Province – Ruled by a family with strong nymph blood Duke and Duchess Fordinku, they lend support to the nymphs should they need it. In our dimension, this land is made up of Florida, Georgia and half of South Carolina.
Dimensions – An alternate universe existing in the same space and time as the one inhabited.
Dullhurt – A small village in Benkdeno Province, it’s run by Lord Varendos. In this dimension, the village is close to Cleveland, OH.
Dux – People with noble blood in Mortisali. The dux have the authority to become the balance of law. Comprised from the Lords, Barons and Dukes of the Mortisalian Provinces. They enforce the kings laws on his behalf. Guardians of the land, but they act privileged and above it all. Most are arrogant, but it’s a system that’s been in place for centuries.
Elements – Each element, Earth, water, wind and fire are needed for the worlds to survive, each must be present and balanced to keep the worlds from falling apart. Each nymph holding an element helps maintain the balance. When one is too predominant, black magic begins to fill in the spaces.
Felgar – A small town in Mortisali that resides in the Belverantay Province. (comprised of New Brunswick, Maine, Vermont and New Hampshire in this Dimension). Where Damon grew up.
Grenalide – Known in this dimension as New Zealand, only land not claimed by the Monarch’s of Mortiasali. Known as Thánatos’ lands, and has been since he was banished there by Layland.
Inscribed – for Vis Liberi, means a mental connection that can help them zero in on one another, especially in a time of need or while experiencing heightened emotions
Latros – Thantos’ foot soldiers, they are children of his children and his children’s children. They’re a large loyal force that follow his every rule. With nothing to give them compassion, they are cold and empty killing machines. Normally distinguished by their red masks.
Loraline Province – It’s the capital province of Mortisali. Under the monarch’s rule and holds the most wealthy and well looked after denizens. In this Dimension the province is made up of Michigan, Wisconsin, Illinois and Part of Indiana.
Nymph – Nymphs came from Mother Nature herself, and she offered each of her four elements to her children as a gift. Every nymph inherited a more predominant element than their sister, such as fire, air, earth, and water, and to expand that balance in nature, they began breeding with Gods, the Gods’ genetics ensuring the offspring would be wholly nymph.
Nysa – Valley of the Nymphs, located somewhere in Greece. It was a safe place for the nymphs while the Gods still ruled.
Medicus – Ancient nymph healer. Normally associated with earth or fire nymphs
Moderatus – Humans that are possessed by the Veneficus. If viewer has a foot in two worlds they can see the puppet master with a ball of light. It’s dark magic, used to push the consciousness of the body away so they can steer.
Mortisali – Alternate universe. It’s the dimension Acantha was pushed into by Apollo, same age as our world with no technological advancement (by choice)
Palace Brendaro – The king’s royal palace, situated in Loraline province. The Capital of the Kingdom. The palace is located near Ann Arbor in this dimension.
Praefectus – It’s the highest most commander in the king’s army. The word in this dimension is derived from Praefectus Castorum - direct translation Camp Prefect - IN Roman terms the senior commander of the Roman legion after the legate of the senior military tribune.
Prophecy – A foretelling. A fate or destiny that can’t be avoided.
Psychopomps - are creatures, spirits, angels, or deities in many religions whose responsibility is to escort newly deceased souls from Earth to the afterlife. Their role is not to judge the deceased, but simply to provide safe passage. (Wiki)
Regius Custos - The kings (Monarch’s) personal guard and body guards. They are the elite and compromised of Vis Liberi so they can stay close to the king.
Salarakis – Known in this dimension as Key West at the tail of Florida. The Nymphs have been gifted it as a colony, where they thrive. It is not linked to Derakidus on the main land, it’s inhabited only by nymphs.
Sarrendius Palace - Located on an island in the middle of a lake that was made by a crater, Sarrendius is a stronghold with only on way on and off the lakes island. It is located in the Aradia Province.
Suasors – Teachers/advisors to the king.
Translocate – Move between dimensions using the elements.
Underworld Nymphs – Also known as fire, and fire bearing nymphs. They inhabited hell, mostly associated with Hades and Persephone. Although not inherently evil, they have the most feral tempers.
Vates – A nymph prophet, is cursed with visions of the future. These visions come to them in riddles that they speak while under the thrall of these visions. Not all are literal and seem open to translation. More often than not associated with the earth element because of the nymphs connection with the earth.
Venificus – These are Thanatos’ personal soldiers, the ones that are closest to him. Over the centuries, they have been comprised of his kin, mainly because they are strong of magic – His and the nymphs. Distinguishable by their white masks.
Vis Liberi – Rough translation, Nature’s Children. They are the children of nymphs and humans. They help keep the balance and can restore order. Also known as guardians. A private army for the king (Volunteered) can pass between dimensions and use their elements to communicate.
Watchers – Vis Liberi that reside in Mortisali are paired with the Vis Liberi in this dimension. They watch their backs and battle anything that comes to pass on their side of the dimensions (aka when a veneficus has a moderatus under his control)
