“Exalt was a disaster, all records of it should be eradicated.” One of the others interrupted. The head man shook his head.
“No, it is too important. It may have been released prematurely but the third stage is still achievable with some more testing, Edgar here, is proof of that. It will only be a matter of altering the formula. We should begin working on Exalt X so we can get back on track as soon as possible.” The head guy said as he pointed over to Edgar. Edgar removed his hand from his mouth and nodded. It was that easy to convince the humans to redestroy their world. Maybe Louis was right, maybe humans were meant to remain ignorant. That wasn’t his decision though, he was created to ensure the success of Exalt, whatever version they decided to work on.
“Let’s being testing immediately.” One of them announced “The lab in Los Alamos was blown up but the samples were removed from the premises, earlier that day and are being prepped at a new lab in another classified location. So, do we all agree then? Continue with Exalt, making this new product Exalt X?” The guy asked. Everyone cheered and nodded, before the guy turned to Edgar.
“So, what do you think Edgar? You ready to go supervise the new testing lab?” He asked. Edgar sat forward with a grin.
“Wipe their memories. Continue the trials.”
