Support Bards are rare, as are Bard healers, outside a raid group as the character class is not very powerful when played solo. But in groups, a Bard’s abilities truly shine. The bigger the group, the better!
Spiritual Bard: The healing focused Bard build. Uses musical instruments to cast healing music and on the rare occasion, to attack enemies. They have very few offensive options and instead must rely on their party to take down enemies.
At level 10 they get an aura that increases the effect of all healing by 5% (10% at level 13).
Metalhead Bard: The support focused Bard build. Can do some minor healing but this build’s main focus is in providing buffs to the rest of the party. Can run buffs to health, damage, Mana, Inspiration and Stamina regeneration all at once. Has some offensive capabilities including two AOE spells.
At level 10 they get an aura that increases all party stats by 1 (by 2 at level 13).

WARRIOR
Warriors perform to vital roles in Aralia Online. That of melee DPS and off tank or as the primary tank for a group. While Steadfast Blademaster tanks focus largely on AOE threat, Warrior tanks excel at single target threat building, thus making them the premier raid tank. Combined with their ability to wear the toughest armor in the game (plate), they also have slightly increased health than any other class.
Other than Mages and Rogues, they are the most popular class to play and possibly the easiest to master.
Shield Warrior: The premier raid tank in Aralia Online. Excels at single target threat and has the highest physical damage reduction of any class. A Shield Warrior is the only playable build that can use Tower Shields. They have some AOE threat abilities, but they are weak in comparison to a Steadfast Blademaster.
At level 10 they get an aura that increases a parties physical damage reduction by 5% (by 10% at level 13).
Barbarian Warrior: Sometimes called “a Rogue in plate” these melee damage dealers are to be feared. They excel at single target DPD, though have a few abilities that can inflict group damage. They can either duel wield weapons or use two-handed weapons and are the only class with access to “great” weapons. Great Swords and Great Axes are the most common in use by players, though there are other Great weapons in game.
At level 10 they get an aura that restores 6 Mana/Inspiration/Stamina per minute (12 at level 13).
OTHER CLASSES WILL BE REVEALED UPCOMING BOOKS!
About the Author
Riley Morrison is an Australian writer who primarily writes in the fantasy, science fiction and post-apocalyptic genres. Because it is hard for him to write in only one genre, it would be easier to say he writes Speculative Fiction.
An avid reader of all things doom and gloom, Riley enjoys reading about how our civilization is close to collapse and how we are all going to have to get used to living in caves again. A dull and gloomy cave with no Internet, Twitter or cats.
Other things Riley likes include history, bushwalking, cats, vegetable gardening, procrastinating, oddball slapstick comedies (Bruce Campbell FTW!), video games, and countless other things. And cats.
Riley is old enough to have written some semblance of a story on a Commodore Amiga 500 but not old enough to have used a typewriter. Sadly, it has taken him around 25 years from writing his first story to sit down and actually finish something. While hardly unique in this, Riley can at least boast he has actually finished writing something.
Take that crazy ex first flat mate!
