Hollywood Fairytale (Fairlane Series Book 2) Page 15

by Harlow Layne

“Oh, come on! We know that you’re in love and all, but seriously dude, you’re making the rest of us look bad.” Jason groaned.

“Too bad,” I answered back before I threaded my fingers through Luke’s hair and pulled him into a kiss.

  Hot, wet, and deep.

  Everything faded away.

  No friends or family.

  Only me and Luke.

  23

Luke strode into the bathroom as I was putting on my final swipe of blush. I’d gone all out with my makeup for the night. No one would tell me exactly what the plans were, and it was making me slightly nervous. Standing beside me I watched him put some gel in his hair that was getting a little longer and wanted to flop into his eyes. I loved it longer and wanted to run my fingers through it, but I knew our time was running short. Soon Taylor and Anna would be here for our night out.

“What’s wrong?” he asked, washing his hands of the gel.

Jumping onto the counter, I sat with my legs splayed so that Luke could stand between them which he promptly moved to do. My dress slid up my thighs, and Luke’s hands followed the fabric. His thumbs swept the inside of my thighs making my core start to thrum with want.

“Besides that, we have to spend the night apart?” I huffed and stuck out my lower lip. “Stupid traditions.”

A small smile spread across his face as he looked down at me. “Did I not please you enough today?” he chuckled knowing what he was doing to me.

Luke wore a pair of dark jeans that fit him perfectly, molding against his ass and thighs, along with a pair of black boots and a dark grey button-down shirt that he hadn’t bothered to button yet.

My hands skated across the ridges of his abs up to his pecs where they rested naturally as I looked up at him.

“Not now with what your fingers are doing to me,” I answered breathless, my hunger for him evident. “Along with the thought that I can’t have you later. There will be drinking tonight, I’m going to get horny, and you won’t be there to help me.” Scrunching my face up as I realized something. “In fact, I won’t even be able to pleasure myself with Taylor in the room.”

His blue eyes turned stormy at my words. “Do you need one last orgasm for tonight?”

“Yes,” I answered, my hands falling down to his belt to start unbuckling, only for him to stop me.

“Hey, we don’t have time for that. Let me help you.”

Without giving me a chance to answer, Luke’s hand caressed down to my calf, kissed the arch in my foot, and rested my foot against his shoulder.

“You wore panties.” His voice deep and gravelly made me instantly wet.

“I thought it would be smart if I was drinking and wearing a dress. I don’t want to flash anyone and have it all over the internet.” I moaned as he moved them aside and pressed his thumb firmly to my clit.

  “Smart girl.”

Lifting my other foot to the edge of the counter, I splayed my legs wider giving him more access. One hand grasped his bicep while the other stayed firmly planted.

Sliding two fingers inside, he pumped in and out with a slow tempo as his thumb rubbed circles over my bundle of nerves. I’d already had three orgasms since I woke up, and one less than an hour before, but that didn’t stop me from wanting Luke or being ready to go off almost the moment he started to touch me.

“Luke,” I moaned low in the back of my throat. “More.”

Faster and harder Luke’s fingers pumped as his tongue swept into my mouth like a summer storm. It was intense, strong, and short. Tasting and nipping my lips before leaving me gasping for air.

Reaching up to bring him back to my mouth, I stopped when he knelt to the ground and brought his mouth to my aching core. His tongue felt divine. Soft and smooth compared to his thumb. Circling and sucking, his fingers curled, hitting my magic spot and sending me soaring.

“Oh, God. Luke,” I moaned. My legs shook as they clamped around his wide shoulders. My fingers fisted his gelled hair.

Leaning back against the mirror, I sighed out. “God why can’t we do that all night?”

Dipping down, Luke sucked on my bottom lip before murmuring, “Beautiful, we’ve got an entire week of doing that day and night. In a little more than twenty-four hours I’ll ravage you from sun up to sun down.”

“That sounds like a plan. What about you though?” I asked eying the erection pushing at the zipper of his jeans.

Adjusting himself, he grimaced. “I’ll be fine.”

My fingers traced along the denim. “You don’t look fine.” Peering up at his messy hair, I bit my lip. “I messed up your hair. Let me fix it.”

Looking at himself in the mirror, he smirked down at me. “You don’t like the just fucked hairstyle?”

“Personally, I love it, but I’m not so sure I like it when you’re going out without me.”

Closing my eyes, slowly I tilted my head side to side. “My legs feel like jelly. I don’t think I can even put my shoes on.”

Without saying a word, Luke left and came back with the heels that I’d set out to wear for the night. They were black and sparkly just like my dress. Instead of kneeling, he raised my leg to place on his shoulder, leisurely slipping my shoe on.

“You’re the best,” I declared as I wrapped my arms around his neck and kissed the dimple in his chin. “Tomorrow you’ll be my husband.” I couldn’t help but smile.

His eyes sparkled as his full lips curved up into a smile. “And tomorrow you’ll be my wife.”

Looking down, I started to button up his shirt. “Does it bother you that I’ve been married before? That you’re not going to be my first husband?”

Stopping me from buttoning any further, Luke wrapped his fingers around my wrists. “Maybe if you had married him out of love, but no, it doesn’t bother me.” Letting go he used one finger to tilt my chin up to look at him. “I think it bothers you. You wish I was your first.”

Tears instantly sprang to my eyes, my chin trembled as I spoke. “It isn’t fair. You deserve to be someone’s first husband, the father of their first child. Your special and I want you to feel how special you are. Not…”

His lips pressed to mine as his arms wrapped tight around me. It wasn’t a passionate kiss, but one of comfort. Our lips rested against the others, eyes closed. “What we have is special. Don’t ever think differently. I don’t care that you’ve been married before because I know that we’re going to stay married until the day that one of us dies and forever after that.”

With everything in me, I held myself together. I couldn’t cry. Not now when I was supposed to leave in only a few minutes and my makeup would be ruined. Opening my eyes, I was met by Luke’s Caribbean blue’s staring back at me. “You can’t say such sweet things to me and not expect me to cry.”

Looking down at me the love he held for me swam in his eyes as a soft smile tipped his lips. “But do you feel better?”

“I feel better.” I answered. He had made me feel better, but I was still an emotional wreck. Tomorrow Luke would be my husband and I couldn’t wait. I felt as if I’d waited my entire life for him. “I love you.”

His eyes softened at my words. Something I noticed they did every time I told him I loved him. Sometimes it was still hard for me to believe that he was just as affected by me as I was him. “And I love you, beautiful.”

We heard footsteps only a second before Taylor appeared in the doorway. She bit her lip, trying to hide a smile. “Hey, I thought you’d be ready.”

I couldn’t stop my smile. It was likely she knew exactly what we’d been up to.

“Almost. Luke is putting on my shoes and then I’ll be ready.” Dangling my other shoe by my fingertip, Luke shook his head, but took it none the less.

“What are you guys up to tonight?”

Hiking my leg on his shoulder, Luke ran his hand up from just above my knee to the arch of my foot. “Don’t know. They wouldn’t tell me.”

Taylor laughed, her voice tinkling. “Sounds familiar.

  “Indeed.”

My head moved back and forth between them, my hands resting on Luke’s chest for balance. It made me beyond happy that they got along so well. If they hadn’t, I didn’t know what I would’ve done because I desperately needed them both in my life.

“Are you sure your mom’s okay with watching all the kids?”

Turning his head in Taylor’s direction, Luke slipped my heel on. “Positive, she loves kids and wants to get to know Mason. She’s tired of waiting for us to have kids and is ready to take on her grandmother role. I think she’s hoping Alex will get pregnant while on our honeymoon.”

A choking sound came out of me, but both Luke and Taylor ignored it.

“So…” Taylor bit her bottom lip, clasped her hands behind her back while looking at anything but us. She was nervous for some reason. She took a deep breath and met both our stares. “I wanted to give you a heads up for tonight.”

Luke growled a foreign curse under his breath, his arm wrapped around my shoulder.

My brows furrowed. I didn’t like or understand the tone the room had changed to. “What is it?” My voice shook. Luke’s hand squeezed my shoulder.

“It’s got nothing to do with the parties.” Taylor blurted out and then spun around where she stood, stopping to look hesitantly back at us. “I don’t want to cause any problems, but Luke, I wanted to warn you that Jack will probably try to persuade you to change your mind about the prenup.”

Pulling away, he stood rigid in front of us both. His tight jaw ticked every few seconds while he kept his eyes closed.

Sliding off the counter, I stepped toward him and wrapped my arms around him. For one-second, I was afraid he’d reject me, but his arms instantly wrapped around me as he buried his face in my hair. I stood rubbing my hands up and down his back as he slowly relaxed in my arms.

One last squeeze and he took a step back. “It’ll be fine. He’s made his opinion clear on what he thinks I should do, but don’t let it ruin your night. I’ll politely let him know that I’m not going to change my mind.”

  “Luke, maybe…”

“Not going to happen.” He interrupted, eyes blazing. “Now give me one last kiss before you become my wife.”

“You like saying that word,” I mumbled as I stood on tip-toe to kiss him.

“Very much so. Now kiss me, my soon to be Mrs. Sandström.”

“I’ll give you guys a minute. I’ll be out in the hall.”

I kissed along his jaw until Luke picked me up, bringing me level with him. Wrapping my legs around his waist, I placed a chaste kiss to his lips and smiled.

“Don’t tease me,” he growled playfully.

One hand slipped into his hair as the other cupped his cheek. His eyes darkened with lust as I smoothed my tongue across his bottom lip. He opened for me. Our tongues moved against each other’s in a sinful dance. It was always so easy to get lost when I was in Luke’s arms and his mouth on mine.

“Um…” Taylor interrupted sounding embarrassed. “I’m sorry to interrupt, but it’s been five minutes and we really need to get going.”

“Right,” Luke smiled devilishly at me. Giving me one last kiss, he put me down. “I’ll see you tomorrow. I’ll be the one waiting for you at the end of the aisle.”

I couldn’t help but reach up to give him one last kiss on the dimple of his chin. “I can’t wait.”

“Okay, I hate to be the bad guy, but we’ve really got to get moving.” Turning to Luke, Taylor spoke as she pulled me out the door. “I’ll take good care of her.”

“I love you!” I called from outside the bathroom door. “Don’t have too much fun!”

Stepping out of the bathroom, he replied, leaning against the door frame as he watched us, lips tipped up. “I love you too, beautiful.”

“I can’t believe you’ve been in Hawaii for over two months and haven’t been to a luau until now,” Taylor whispered from her spot beside me.

My eyes were glued to the men juggling fire sticks and dancing. I couldn’t believe that I hadn’t been either. Mason would’ve loved it. I’d have to make sure we all came to one when we visited again.

Leaning toward her, I kept watching. “Luke was too busy filming otherwise we would have. I’m kind of bummed that Mason didn’t get to see one.”

“Honey, you’re marrying a movie star. If you want to come back once a year or hell even more, you can. You’re not going to be stuck in Missouri. You’re going to travel to places all over the world and you might even find one you like better than Hawaii.”

  Maybe.

Sipping my drink, I eyed our surroundings. “This is pretty tame for a bachelorette party. Not that I’m complaining.”

Anna looked from her place across the table at me with a knowing glint in her eye. “Do you think this is all we have planned?”

“How am I supposed to know when everything was kept so hush-hush?” I whisper-yelled.

“We don’t have anything planned too crazy in case someone takes pictures or videos. We’re keeping it all private, but we thought we should at least feed you first.” Anna winked, turning back to watch the show.

“Do you know what the plan is?” I asked Taylor.

Without taking her eyes from the ladies whose hip action I was instantly jealous of, she answered me. “Of course, I helped plan it.”

  “And?”

“And you’ve got nothing to worry about. Now finish your drink and relax.”

Down the table from us, Stella, Luke’s sister, yawned. Our party consisted of Anna, Taylor, Stella, Gabi, and Jessica Kelly. Jessica played Luke’s vampire daughter on his show, Night Shadows. I’d met her when I visited the set and loved her instantly. It was easy to see how close she and Luke were. He got along with the other actors, but for some reason they were a little standoffish when I was there. All except Jessica.

Where I only had five people in my party, Luke had almost three times the amount of people I did. While we had Anna, I had a feeling that if anyone was followed, or filmed it would be Luke’s party since they had Colton, Reeves, Liam and Luke.

I stopped questioning them and enjoyed the show, food and drinks. They were all amazing. I could have sat there all night watching and drinking and been perfectly content, but Anna and Taylor pulled me from my seat and to our waiting car.

The moment we pulled up in front of the resort, I looked around the car to see knowing smiles on each of their faces. Since I didn’t want to annoy them by me continuing to ask questions, I kept quiet. These were my friends, and I was going to trust them.

Taylor draped her arm around my shoulders as she guided me into the resort’s bar. A small band was playing, but the only people besides them were the bartender and us. Without saying a word, the bartender started to pour us each a drink. I had no idea what it was, but it was tailor made for me. It was sweet, with some rum and had a slice of orange and cherry on top.

The band played all my favorite songs from Imagine Dragons to The Chainsmokers, The Lumineers to Maroon 5. By then I’d drank enough that I didn’t care what we were doing. I sang loud along with the band, but my jaw dropped when Gabi walked over and took the microphone. At that same moment the bartender pulled out a bunch of penis straws placing them in all our drinks. His cheeks flushed pink, and I couldn’t help but laugh. Taylor took that as her opportunity to place a crown on my head that lit up.

“I’m honored to be here to celebrate Alex’s last night as a Sloane,” Gabi said from up on the stage. “I met Alex a few months ago when I was doing a guest spot on Luke’s show and we hit it off right from the start.”

“I love you, Gabi!” I pointed at her and yelled, swaying on my seat.

“I love you too, Alex. Bartender get her another drink! Get everyone another drink!”

The bartender already had a pitcher of whatever he made for us and filled each of our glasses to the brim. I took a sip of my drink through my penis straw as did everyone else, each of us laughing at the absurdity.
r />   “The day I met Luke and Alex, I was walking back from makeup when I spotted them dancing outside the studio. A song was drifting out from another sound lot, but you would have thought they were playing it just for them. They didn’t even notice me as I walked by. They were in their own little world.

“When Luke asked me if I’d sing at their wedding, of course I said yes. He told me the song that Alex had been dreaming of hearing at her wedding. He also told me that every day they’re together they dance to at least one song. How fucking sweet is that?”

“Go ahead and swoon, ladies. I got a good one.” I bowed, nearly falling off my stool.

Everyone yelled back different versions of the same thing. “Yeah, you did. And Hell, yeah.”

“I’m not going to sing your dream song, but I wanted to sing one of your favorites.” Gabi whispered to the band and they started Maroon 5’s She Will Be Loved.

It was one of my favorites songs and I knew Luke had told her. I wanted to tell him how much I loved him and that it was so sweet of him to tell Gabi about our dancing.

“Ladies,” Stella called, as she stood from her stool when the song was over. “I need to go powder my nose. Who’s going to join me?”

“I shouldn’t,” I groaned, standing up. “Once you start, you can’t stop, but I need to relieve my bladder.”

After asking the bartender where the bathroom was, we all stumbled to the bathroom each taking a stall.

After washing my hands, I swiped on another layer of gloss. I watched as each girl came out. Stella wrinkled her nose, lifting her arm to smell.

“I hate to be rude, but we stink like… I don’t know. The luau maybe?”

Gina narrowed her eyes at Stella but didn’t say anything.

“I’ve got some perfume in my purse. Maybe if I spray it around the bathroom…”

Gina interrupted her with a firm shake of her head. “Not happening, I’ll be waiting out here.” She thumbed towards the bar.

“What’s her deal?” Stella asked as she dug in her purse trying to find her perfume.
