Marlo pushed his hips back, impaling himself on Fane’s cock and Fane looked down. When Fane became completely aware again, he found himself lying on his back with Marlo cuddled against his side, his head on Fane’s chest, with Marlo fast asleep. He couldn’t remember untethering Marlo or them moving, but Fane wouldn’t linger on the thought, he was too content lying there with his mate, his true, claimed mate at his side.
Fane looked down to his side and found the scratches there and smiled. They were basically healed, were still a bit red and tender, but he knew that would pass and all that would be left behind would be four small, light scars, proving that he and Marlo were indeed true mates, just like the matching bite marks that would now and forever be visible on their necks for all to see.
He looked down at Marlo’s neck and found his bite and Fane sighed. They had done it. They had completed their mating and were now bound together for all eternity, and he couldn’t be happier. Fane reached up and gently touched the spot that Marlo had bitten, and a shiver of desire raced through him. Suddenly his cock was hard and wanting again. Damn, he had no idea their bite marks would be such a hot spot.

Hi Everyone, Maggie here, before I write those two words, THE END, I wanted to let you know that there will be more coming in Marlo and Fane’s story. After I sent this book out to the editor, something kept nagging at my brain. I couldn’t put my finger on it but it was driving me crazy. Did I leave a hole somewhere? Did I forget something important? It really drove me nuts. That night at 12:34, after only sleeping for 1 hour, I woke up, sitting straight up in my bed, with Marlo screaming at me that he wasn’t done. I tried to go back to sleep but he wouldn’t let me. Suddenly a whole bunch of new scenes and ideas for their book hit me, but damn it, I had already sent it off to the editor. But it didn’t matter, they were talking, A LOT, so I knew to add what they were saying to this book it would have been too much. So, I grabbed my laptop, opened it up and started typing. For the next 4 hours my fingers and mind never stopped until I had almost 9,000 words written. I was finally able to go back to sleep (for an hour until I had to wake up my girlie for school), but right after breakfast I started typing away again.
That means that Marlo and Fane’s story is not done. Once in a while a couple will come along that just wants more. Today I received this book back from my editor and…the other book is a chapter away from being finished. It will be off to the editor on Monday and a new cover is being made right now. So over the next few weeks, look for “Alliances” book 5 in the Tundra Wolves Series.
