Lockaways: Forced into group homes, state orphanages, reeducation facilities, repurposed boarding schools, etc. They have nowhere to go but to where they're told to. Often they escape to become Runaways.
The Broken: The Broken were pushed too far by a reality that was too cruel to them. To them the Outside was story, the Grey Hell, a bad dream. Some reject reality so intensely, that if their connection to their world is broken they became nearly catatonic.
The Stolen: The Stolen were the rare, well adjusted individuals, who had been the "good" ones. The ones with good parents or legal guardians, the ones who had real jobs and happy lives. Until their lives were stolen and sold to the Grey Hell.
Collaborators: People from the Outside sent to watch, hidden among us, for purposes not even they aware of.
Nilum:They are spirit without soul, instinct without thought. When destroyed they dissolve back into the spirit world. When they are strong enough, they recreate bodies out of the world around them. When they attack they consume the spirit and some of the body bodies to grow stronger.
