Prologue
Kelly—Graduation Night
I had no idea when I left my family party for the tree house, my life was going to change so drastically.
When Roxie had first shown up at the foot of the tree five years ago, I didn’t want Carter to let her in. It was our place. Now, I couldn’t imagine life without her. She was the piece that kept us connected, and the person we turned to when no one else understood. At least that was how I thought of her, one of my best friends.
She wasn’t there when I arrived, but we were all pretty fluid when it came to showing up when we could. Tonight was different, though, because I was leaving for football camp and I wouldn’t get to see anyone for the next six months to a year.
“What’s up, Jay?”
“Just chilling until everyone gets here.” He’d loosened his tie from earlier, but still had his dress clothes on.
Wade poked his head up through the hole in the floor. “Sup, bros?”
I laughed at him. Wade always acted like he was tough, but we’d been there for him when things went a little sideways. He was a good guy, but there was no way I could convince my parents of that.
“Do we know why Roxie wanted to see us?”
“Celebration. We deserve to let down our hair. We graduated,” Carter chimed in as he made his way inside.
He plopped onto one of the bean bags we’d dragged up. It wasn’t a glamorous place, but it was a safe retreat from our parents and the world outside.
“Roxie said something about losing our virginity, but I’m not sure what she meant. It’s not like she can sleep with all of us or that we’d want to share.” I crinkled my nose at the thought.
“Why not?” Wade argued. “Any one of us would date her if she gave us the go-ahead, so why not let all of us date her and see who comes out the winner?”
“You’re serious?” Jay’s face had turned ashen. “That’s not normal.”
“Since when do I do normal, Jay?” Wade grinned at his discomfort.
“He’s right. But why would Roxie go for something crazy like that?” I argued.
“She could have us all instead of having to choose which one of us knuckle heads she was going to pick.” He got up and stuck his head down the hole.
“Hey, you coming up?”
As she appeared through the opening, I held my breath. She was wearing a sundress, showing off all her assets. It figured that she’d get all dressed up just when we were going to leave her.
“Hey, gorgeous.” I couldn’t believe I’d actually said that out loud.
Roxie turned that brilliant smile toward me, and I forgot what I was going to say.
“You all came.”
“Of course we did, Roxie. How could we not come?” Carter offered her the bean bag.
I guess seeing her dressed up made us all suddenly on our best behavior.
“What you did was kind of sneaky,” I accused, sitting beside her on the floor.
“Sneaky?” She raised an eyebrow suggestively. “No, I was warning you.”
“Were you planning to sleep with us in shifts or all at one time?” Wade asked boldly.
I don’t think I heard anything else as I contemplated the idea. There was no way that she would choose just one of us, and if I had to share her, it was better than nothing.
My attention was focused on her as she stood and slid the straps of her dress off her shoulders. I’d seen pictures of naked women. Heck, what normal guy didn’t have a stash hidden under his bed? But the real thing was so much better.
Roxie wasn’t one of those stick figure girls whose bones were only covered by a thin layer of skin. She had curves and an ass that was perfect for grabbing onto…what was I thinking?
She twirled slowly in just her panties, and I found myself panting from the dessert menu she was showing us.
Down boy, she’s not just yours tonight. She’s a girl that you like, not a piece of meat.
Roxie began walking straight over to Jay and took one of the throw pillows from the couch for her knees as she crouched in front of him.
“Do you guys mind if Jay goes first?”
My head shook from side to side as I watched her focus on the shyest member of our group. As her head dipped down to lick his dick that she’d released from his slacks, I couldn’t believe this was the girl that had been our friend for all these years.
Without thinking about it, I took my pants off and moved up behind her, reaching around to touch her breast. Her hand felt up my leg until she was holding my throbbing cock.
Wade had moved in behind her as well, and was moving his finger through her virgin folds. He seemed to know what he was doing because she groaned around Jay’s cock.
Carter and I mimicked each other, sitting on either side of Jay so that we could fondle her chest. I reached out to touch her nipple, and wanted to pinch myself to prove I wasn’t dreaming.
Leaning forward, I hesitantly licked her, and then began to suck as I cradled her breast.
Her hand continued to move up and down our shafts in time with her mouth on Jay’s cock. She never took her eyes off Jay as she managed to bring me right to the edge, just before she let go and swallowed every drop from him.
Wade waited until she was finished. His fingers, seeming to have hit the right spot, caused Roxie’s entire body to tremble.
Carter and I had the perfect angle to watch her expression as she came all over Wade’s hand.
“Let’s do this on the mattress. I want a taste of that pussy juice,” I teased her with a kiss on the cheek.
As she laid back on the bed, I noticed that we were standing over her in a circle, all holding our cocks out to her. Not really wanting to concentrate on the fact that we were all naked together, I kneeled down and ran my hands up her soft, smooth legs.
I spread them apart and leaned in to get my first taste of her. I
d never done this before, but I wasn’t about to stop from making her come all over again.
Her hands were full of the other guys, and I was enjoying exploring her inner lips for the first time.
“Kelly, I need…” she groaned, trailing off as I found her clit.
Carter leaned over and grabbed a condom from the box sitting on the floor.
“You heard the lady. She wants it, so wrap it up,” Wade ordered.
I didn’t have to be told twice. I slid the condom down my hard shaft and placed it at the entrance of her folds. It was the most wonderful moment in my memory. Unlike the stories that were always going around, I didn’t encounter any resistance to my cock. I moved faster, spurred on by her groans.
Enveloped in her tight entrance, I knew that I wouldn’t last long, but that was okay because I wouldn’t have wanted it any other way for my first time. She tightened as I pushed deeper, the motion causing my balls to tighten, and I let go with a loud groan.
Carter took my place as I pulled away to clean up.
Roxie was lying there with a look of happiness that I’d never seen on her before, even when I knew she’d been in a good mood. As Carter slid his member inside her, we made eye contact, and I knew that no matter what, I was always going to love this girl.
Chapter One
Kelly
I’d come home early for Christmas, but there was just one problem: my parents. They’d planned this whole trip to go skiing for the month with me and my brother. I needed to be home with Roxie, to tell her that things had changed, but there hadn’t been time.
All of my time had been taken up by my family, and then it was time to move into the dorms. Other than a few text messages, I hadn’t had a chance to really talk to Roxie or the other guys.
Roxie was the only girl that I’d ever loved. That any of our group of friends had loved, really. None of us had ever made a move because we didn’t want to make her choose between us, but instead she’d managed to include us all. I still wasn’t sure how all of this was going to work, but when I’d dropped in on her and Carter in the dorms, everything seemed to slip into place as we’d shared a moment together.
My brain was so occupied with the lovely, full-figured girl we’d nicknamed Mouse, that I almost missed my bus stop. This was all unfamiliar territory, and I didn’t want to mess up on my first day at a new campus.
I checked the map on my phone that would take me to the registrar’s office, where I had to give them a check and go over my schedule.
My mom had helped me with the first semester last year, but she didn’t know that I was going to a new school this semester. In fact, I hadn’t told anyone yet, because the fallout from my decision wasn’t going to be well received.
A career in football had always been my goal. To play and be a star that would get drafted to an NFL team one day. Then, when I was forced to retire, I could teach at a high school or college, doing the one thing I’d learned to love. After one season of college football, though, I didn’t have the same dreams anymore. Teaching kids and making their dreams come true would be my new goal, but I had to find a way to keep my parents in the dark just a little longer.
Stepping up to the cashier’s window, I handed her the check I’d been able to draft out of the account my parents had opened for my education. Thank goodness they wouldn’t be looking at it on a regular basis, because she filled in the blank with the school’s stamp.
Even without my football scholarships, this school was so much cheaper that I didn’t have to worry about my savings fund stretching to cover the semester. My account held enough for the next three years if I continued to work for the academic scholarships.
“Take your receipt over to the next office and they’ll assign your dorm room and meal plan.” The frazzled clerk pointed for probably the hundredth time that day.
“Thanks,” I acknowledged, and made my way to my next stop.
While the process seemed to take forever, it wasn’t nearly as long as what I’d done at the larger college. I was now free to drop my bags off in my dorm and find Roxie. I just hoped that she was happy to see me.
I remembered the way to Roxie’s room, but my feelings of loneliness were growing as friends shouted to each other in the hallways or exchanged greetings, excited to see each other.
Standing in front of her door, I hesitated to knock, feeling inadequate. The last time, I’d just let myself in, but it had been weeks ago since that moment, which now felt like forever.
A pretty, tall redhead approached. “Were you going to knock or just stand there all day?”
“Um, I’m not sure if I have the right room,” I stammered nervously.
“Well, while you figure it out, could you open the door for me since my hands are a little full?”
Blushing, I turned the knob and opened it for her.
“Is this Roxie Berry’s room?” I managed to ask as she walked in and put her stuff on the bed.
“Yeah, she should be here soon. She texted me that she was running late. She had to get everything ready for her mom and aunt before she could head this way.” She eyed me as she started putting up her stuff.
“What happened to Carter? Did she send him back in the subscription box and you’re his replacement?”
“Oh, sorry. No, I’m one of her friends from high school. I just transferred here and wanted to let her know since Carter took an internship in Texas that I’d be around.” I gave her a tight smile. “Not a subscriptions service, but I guess that might work for some people.”
She glanced at me while making the bed with fresh sheets. “Which one are you?”
“I’m Kelly Hudson.”
“Ah, the football player, which explains the tan lines and muscles even though it’s winter. You can wait if you want, or come back later to surprise her.”
“Guess I’ll go unpack too. It’ll give me something to do until she gets here.” I was reluctant to leave, but it wasn’t like I could stay in the room with her roommate until she got there.
“FYI, we’re going to dinner at about five thirty if you want to be here a little beforehand. Then again, Roxie may not want to eat food when she sees you.” Sarah winked as I closed the door hoping that I wasn’t blushing again.
I was unsure as to why I was suddenly so shy. I mean, if she was Roxie’s roommate, then she had to know that there were more of us hanging around. From her insinuation, she knew about the more intimate details of our situation.
It was probably because I was nervous and wouldn’t have Carter around as a buffer this time. I was going to have to be with Roxie all by myself, and I hadn’t done that since before graduation last May.
After our unconventional group sex in the tree house, I’d gone online to read up on relationships that had more than one person in them. It wasn’t as unusual as I’d been led to believe. I mean, my parents would never have thought about something like this, but it made sense rather than trying to make all of us lose something precious by choosing.
Polyamory: having multiple, consensual sexual partners in a relationship. We’d all consented that night, but now making it a working relationship was going to be more difficult. I could see why most people chose to be monogamous because of the jealousy. But on the other hand, there were a lot of benefits as well.
The most common form was Polygamy, but I didn’t want a bunch of women in my life. One was the perfect number for me because I couldn’t imagine being so nervous while trying to date each one. Sharing her with my best friends hadn’t been bad so far, but we hadn’t all been since that night.
I shook my head to clear my thoughts. No use in worrying about the future. I still had to graduate without my parents noticing that I’d switched schools. I couldn’t let my relationship with Roxie disrupt the long-term plan, but I hoped that she’d be on board with it.
Then I saw her brown bobbed hair and couldn’t help the rush of air that left my lungs.
“Roxie!” I yelled, running toward her.
Her head came up and a huge smile lit up her face as I picked her up with a squeal, twirling her in a circle.
“Kelly, what are you doing here?” she asked breathlessly when I finally put her down.
“Funny thing. I transferred this morning, and now I’m going to be here whenever you need me,” I gushed, forgetting my nervousness.
“What?”
“Look, it’s a long story and the wind’s getting colder. Let me help you get your stuff up to your room, and then we can grab a coffee.”
Flustered, she looked at the suitcases on the ground next her. “Sounds good. I’ll have to let Sarah know I’m back. I can unpack later.”
“Is this all you have?” I grabbed the two suitcases while she picked up the computer case and her backpack.
“No, I have my bedding and a few groceries in the car.” She looked up as a few snowflakes started to come down around us. “We’d better hurry before the snow really starts coming down.”
Even though I was carrying both suitcases, Roxie managed to slip her arm through mine, and all thoughts of the cold vanished.
“I already met Sarah.” I almost blushed again just thinking about it. “What does she know about us?”
“That you’re my guys. I’ve told her about each of you, and how you’re the family I never had.”
“Which is why she knew I was a football player.”
“I had to tell her something. With all of you texting me, it meant my phone was always going off. Plus, I’m proud that you got a football scholarship.” She grew quiet for a moment before asking, “Wait, does that transfer over to this school?”
