One year later…
* * *
Jack walked in through the open back door, cursing under his breath. The snow had drifted in and covered most of the kitchen floor. Grabbing the snow shovel, he scooped as much back outside as he could manage.
He had so much to do if he was going to make the ranch ready for visitors for Christmas. A motorcycle club had seen his advertisement.
Their president was coming to talk to him about it and he had a lot to do to get ready. He didn’t need extra snowdrifts inside. There were enough of them outside.
The last of it sat melting into pools of water as he marched through to the playroom. “Holly,” he said, putting on his firmest voice. “I want a word with you.”
She was decorating the Christmas tree, wearing the onesie he’d found at Betty’s for her birthday. He was glad of her choice of outfit. It would make punishing her much easier.
“Did I do something wrong?” she asked, the bauble in her hand starting to tremble as she looked anxiously back at him.
“You left the back door open again. It’s freezing in the kitchen and I just had to shovel a load of snow back outside.”
“I’m sorry,” she said with an impish grin. “I guess I forgot.”
He folded his arms. “You told me I’ve been spending too much time on the farm the last couple of days and not paying you enough attention. Is this your way of changing that?”
“Maybe.”
“Here, now.”
“But I still have your presents to wrap.”
“They can wait. Assume the position.”
They both knew what they were doing. The boundaries and guidelines of the relationship had long been worked out. Holly knew what was expected of her and knew what would happen when she broke one of the rules.
She was on all fours a second later, looking back over her shoulder at him as he unbuttoned the ass of her onesie, exposing the buttocks he still hadn’t tired of staring at.
“Six, I think,” he said, bringing his hand down to smack on her ass. “And no ice cream at supper if you do it again.”
“Aw, please, Daddy. I want ice cream.”
“Then remember to shut the door.” He spanked her again, loving the way she responded, the sharpness of her breathing, the way her body responded, pushing back against his hand.
The spanking ended the same way it always did, him rubbing cream into the burning redness, leaving the flap dangling from the onesie as he sent her to continue decorating the tree.
He headed upstairs, leaving her to think he was still annoyed. It would make the surprise all the more worth it.
Glancing at the time, he pocketed her gift, heading back down in time to find her finishing the tree. “Come sit with me,” he said. “Time for a Christmas movie.”
They sat together as the hours went by. He stroked her head, still marvelling at the fact they were together. It was hard to believe he’d found the one, the woman who completed him. He hoped she’d like her present.
“I’m letting you stay up late,” he said as midnight ticked by on the clock, “because I wanted to give you your first Christmas present as soon as I could.”
“What is it?”
“Open it and find out.” He pulled the gift wrapped box out of his pocket and handed it over.
She tore open the wrapping, lifting the lid of the red velvet box to reveal the sparkling diamond ring inside. “Is this what I think it is?” she asked, grinning up at him.
He slid off the couch onto one knee, taking out the ring, holding it up to her. “I have loved you since I first set eyes on you in the bar,” he said. “I knew from that day that you were the Little for me. Holly Hardacre, will you make me the happiest man in the world and be my wife?”
“Yes!” she squealed as he slid the ring onto her finger. “Of course I will. Oh, Jack. You’ve made me so happy.” She began to cry, admiring the ring as he stood up and hugged her tight. “I can’t believe we’re going to get married.”
“Doesn’t mean you get to leave the back door open,” he said, wagging a finger at her.
“Why not?” she replied, turning around and bending over slightly. “You left this back door open.”
“That’s different.” He suppressed a laugh. “Snow doesn’t get in that way. At least, I hope it doesn’t.”
They stood by the lights of the tree, looking out together at the softly falling snow outside the window. “I can’t think of anyone I’d rather spend Christmas with,” she said, reaching up to kiss his neck.
“Not regretting working here instead of at the sandwich shop?”
“I only have one regret.”
“And what’s that?”
“I just got you one present.” She turned to face him. “Would you like to know what it is?”
“Of course.”
She pressed his hand to her stomach. “Guess.”
You don’t…you’re not…are you?”
She nodded with a smile. “Six weeks today.”
“We’re having a baby!” He squeezed her tight, kissing her over and over.
“You’re happy?”
“It’s the most perfect Christmas gift I could have wished for,” he said, taking her into his arms and carrying her upstairs. “Happy Christmas, my little girl.”
“Happy Christmas, Daddy,” she replied.
Outside the snow continued to fall softly, blanketing the entire ranch in white. It was freezing cold out there. Inside, it was getting warm as the fire in the hearth glowed bright.
Upstairs in the bedroom, the temperature was rising fastest of all.

F.A.Q about DDLG
WHAT DOES DDLG STAND FOR?
DDLG = Daddy Dom Little Girl. DDLG is a form of consenting relationship involving a dominant partner (Daddy) who nurtures and caregives a submissive partner (Little).
The submissive partner chooses when to regress to a younger/simpler state of mind while giving up control of parts of their life to their partner. DDLG relationships are also referred to as age play or ageplay.
IS DDLG DIFFERENT FROM ABDL?
ABDL = Adult baby diaper lover. In a DDLG relationship, the Little can “play” any age they like. In ABDL relationships, the Little regresses to the age of an infant, being dressed in diapers, using pacifiers, being fed milk from a bottle, rocked to sleep etc.
WHAT IS LITTLE SPACE?
Little space is the mindset of the person whilst they explore a more youthful or simplified time of life. It can happen naturally or be triggered by external stressors. Picture a stressed business owner sucking their thumb whilst home alone at night. Little space is a way of leaving adult problems behind for a while.
A dominant partner could punish a submissive partner for entering little space at an inappropriate time. An example of this would be if the submissive partner gets overexcited upon seeing an ice cream truck, enters little space, runs across a busy road without looking, almost getting run over.
IS DDLG A KINK?
Although elements of age play are no
n-sexual, consenting partners may choose to introduce other kinks such as spankings, bondage, or orgasm denial as forms of punishment or reward.
The submissive partner may be expected to obey their dominant partner’s demands within the safe limits of a negotiated DDLG relationship.
Advance conversations about soft and hard limits and boundaries should be had before and during a relationship of this sort. A safe word which if said brings any activity to an end immediately without repercussions is vital to ensure the safety and comfort of both participants.
WHAT HAPPENS IN A DDLG RELATIONSHIP?
DDLG relationships can exist solely in the bedroom or can expand into the daily lives of the participants. They can be sexual or non-sexual or a mixture of both. Non-sexual age play is most often used to reduce stress or deal with childhood trauma (regressing).
Non-sexual elements include setting out rules for the submissive partner such as when bedtime is, no cursing, using manners, limiting snacks, providing chores. The dominant partner may assist with toilet visits, showering, brushing teeth etc or simply supervise playful activities such as interacting with toys or coloring in pictures.
Punishments may be given by the dominant partner, again these can be sexual or non-sexual. From taking away toys to wearing a buttplug in a public place.
Rewards may also be sexual or non-sexual. From visiting toy stores to providing a new outfit from the submissive’s ‘wish list.’
The Little may call their caregiver “Daddy,” and speak to them using simplified language or behave in a bratty way by misbehaving and refusing to obey agreed upon rules.
DDLG relationships involve giving up some degree of control to allow the dominant partner to take care of the submissive, making decisions for them and playing with them. There are no specific rules but the most important thing to remember if you are considering this lifestyle is consent and negotiation between you and your partner. No partner should ever feel forced into this lifestyle against their will.
CAN I EXPLORE A DDLG RELATIONSHIP IF I’M SINGLE (OR MY PARTNER ISN’T INTERESTED)?
A single person wishing to explore this kink could, for example, purchase little clothes, enjoy fun movies, have a stuffie collection or indulge in reading the latest Daisy March DDLG romantic novel!
If your partner has no interest, you can still enjoy elements of the lifestyle without it impacting negatively on your relationship with your partner. You can go into little space whilst you are reading, or whenever you like, to leave the stresses of adulthood behind.
