"Oh, Liam," she throws her hands out to first grab the sheets and then grabs onto me. She pulls me closer to her than I already was and I swear I feel her heartbeat through my own chest. "Oh my God, baby, I'm cumming."
Hearing her call me baby is enough to have my dick shooting off again. This time the sensation is so much stronger than before. It's like the tip of her cervix is sucking and kissing the top of my cock and it makes my balls draw up swelling full of baby juice just for her. If she wants to be a mother than that is exactly what I will spend my waking moments trying to make her. Anything for my little Christmas angel who changed my world the moment I looked up and saw her.

I roll over and throw my arm around my husband. We've been married for just a hand full of days. He gave me and my mom and Mel a Christmas we will never forget. We woke up to a whole tree full of special gifts that were perfect for us. All picked by Liam days before so we could wake up on Christmas morning with them under the tree. One of the gifts was a big fluffy white dress that made me look like a princess. It swept the ground as I walked down the aisle to meet my gorgeous husband. I don't know how he did it but somehow he managed to give me a fairytale wedding on Christmas evening. Just a few people were actually at the wedding. My mom and his, Mel, who was our flower girl, and some close friends.
It was set up in a garden with fresh snow on the ground and a bright red runner for me to walk down. It really was a magical moment with little tea lights hanging from trees and lighting the way for me to meet him in front of a minister. We flew to a beach for the next few days with Liam promising to bring me home by the time New Year's Eve came so we could celebrate with our families. I've had days of being Mrs. Paige Owens and being stuffed full of my husband over and over again. Liam knew he was going to try to marry me as soon as possible so the PO on the stocking he gave me with my engagement ring in it was for Paige Owens.
It will be odd to go back to school a married lady. I still don't respond quickly when someone calls for Mrs. Owens. My husband shifts in his sleep and reaches for me. He seems to always be reaching for me, something I love. I never thought when I went to the mall with Mel that I would meet the man that holds my heart and makes my dreams come true. The Santa that makes me want to give him anything he asks for.
When his beautiful blue eyes open to look at me I can't help but think how lucky I am to have him in my bed and in my arms. The scratch of his beard tickles my throat and makes me giggle.
"Is my young wife ready for more love?"
"You know we will have to actually get out of bed soon right. We can't watch the ball drop with our families if both of us are naked and loving all over each other."
"Yes but we have hours for that to happen and I wouldn't want you to forget who you belong too, thus the big ass ring on your little finger."
I don't need a big ring to love Liam. He had my heart when I heard him ask, "What do you want for Christmas this year, little girl?"

Mason Pierce wears his heart on his sleeve for the world to see. He’s always tried to do the right thing; keep his family away from the craziness that comes as results of him being a rock star, fighting for a lady’s honor, and standing up for weaker people. Yeah, he’s taken a lot of shit for it in the media and yeah, he’s got more than one black eye or busted knuckle from it but it feels wrong not to fight for what is right. And he knows the minute Cora walks through the door of his hospital room asking for his billing information that she is right for him. Nothing is going to stop Mason from chasing his own Happy Ever After - except maybe the career he loves.
Will Mason chose fame over love or can he find a balance that won’t leave him with a Pierced Heart?
We’re back at the Hospital and this place is serving up more romance than a RomCon. Come find out if Mason and Cora get their very own happy ever after (ugh, spoiler-they absolutely do). If you are ready to fall in love with a smooth talking, alpha singer who knows what he wants and is willing to do anything to get it, you are going to love Mason. ;)
Chapter One
____________
Cora
Two more hours to go before I can leave. I just have to make it through two more hours. Then I can go home and not people again for another five blissful hours. My big plans for the night include going home, taking a bath, and hitting my bed harder than a MMA fighter hits an opponent. I've been on my feet for the past twenty hours.
This hospital, although small, is my company's biggest employer. We do all the billing and accounting for the entire building and most of the visiting doctors that use the hospital to do their operations. I work here almost entirely. So much so, I've started to wear scrubs as an everyday uniform. And no matter how cute they try to make them, scrubs are not sexy unless you're a geriatric patient with a heart problem - then you kind of have a guarantee if you blow your heart out during sex they can at least revive you.
Tonight can't end fast enough for me. So far I've had a gang member bleed on my shoes, a kid puke in my hands, and an older man who had chest pains pinch my ass every time I got too close to him. I have one more room to go before I can sit down for the night and start winding down.
I enter the room and look at the chart hanging on the end of the bed. And die a little. Before I can stop my mouth from running away, I've already spit out what I'm thinking.
"Oh my god, your Mason Pierce."
"That's what they tell me. Can we hurry this up?" He doesn't even look up from his phone.
Mason Pierce is sitting in the same room with me. The same Mason Pierce who is the lead singer for the band Pierced Hearts. I have been a fan of his for so long. His voice is amazing and he writes his own lyrics so it's like he sings about things I feel and he understands me. Not to mention he's drop dead gorgeous with blue-green eyes and a brownish-blond faux hawk he wears just a little long on top so it always swings down into his eyes making him look like a cute rascal just needing love to fix up his jagged edges.
"I'm so sorry, I'm sure you get that a lot. I'm a big fan but you must hear that all the time too. I just...really love your music." I'm stammering all over myself. I never act like this. How the hell does he make rolling his shoulders look like an invitation to sleep with him?
"Yeah, you and about thirteen hundred other people tonight."
Wow, wasn't expecting him to be such a prick. I try to tell myself it's probably got more to do with him being in a hospital late at night than anything I actually did. Or maybe it's the fear something will leak out to the press about his injury. I check his chart and see that he came in for lacerations from a 'bar fight'. Holy shit, Mason Pierce was in a bar fight!
I'm not sure why I'm shocked, this hasn't been his first one. Hell it isn't his first fight this month. He just hit someone in an airport not two weeks ago over a girl. He even has a signature scar bisecting his right eyebrow he got in a bar room brawl before he got famous. I guess having the realization he really does fight and is rough instead of it being in the papers is a little surreal.
I was really hoping he wasn't going to be a dick but Dr. Andrews, one of the new doctors on call tonight comes in to check on him, and he's just as stand-offish and prickish to him as he was to me. Maybe more so since he actually looked at him but dismissed him almost immediately to go back to his phone. I go through the motions of setting up his billing and getting him ready to leave when I hand him the electronic pad to write his name for me. He finally looks up.
His eyes rake over my shapeless scrubs and I wait for him to dismiss me the same as he did with the d
octor, but he doesn't. Instead, heat comes into his eyes and I'm treated to the famous Mason Pierce smolder.
"Aren't you just the cutest thing ever." He leans forward to read the name tag conveniently located on my left upper breast. "Cora, a lovely name for a lovely woman."
That would have made my panties spontaneously combust before he was a jerk, and okay, so they're still wet but I have no room in my life for jerks or guys who hit on everything in the room with a pulse. But only when it suits them and on their own time. I don't even show he's affected me like he has as I try to hand him the pad again. "Sign, so I can bill you and then you can go home."
He makes me wait for a few more minutes before he eventually takes the pad and signs without even looking at it.
"Listen, I'm sorry I was such a bastard before. It's just hard to have fans come up to you in a hospital when you're trying to get patched up and you want to go home." I'm sure it is.
I flip to a new screen, "Sign those and you can go home." I look at my watch, "And so can I."
"Uh, since you are going home after me you want to maybe stop and have a drink together? Maybe grab something to eat."
"No," so much for him just wanting to go home. What a load of crap.
My refusal seems to take him by surprise at first, but then he brushes it off and gives me one of his patent smiles that makes ladies one to ninety-one swoon.
"You want to maybe go out sometime when you're not just getting off from work?"
"No," I pack up my shit as quick as I can and before I leave I can't help but throw him one last barb, "but I'm sure one of the other thirteen hundred people that told you they loved you would be more than happy to go out with you. I'm sure you can find one of them to keep you company." I go through the door and let it swing shut behind me. God it feels good to be a bitch sometimes.
So much for hero worshiping a rock star. The guy sitting in there wouldn't understand an authentic emotion if it crawled across the table and blew him.
***
Its way too early for my phone to be going ape shit with a call. I stumble out of bed and try to remember where I left it last night but it stops ringing before I can find it. Shit! Before I can turn back around and go back to bed it rings again. This time I find it under the couch and see that my best friend in the whole world is calling. Demi and I have gotten so much closer since she met and married her husband, Max. He used to work at the hospital but has a private practice now. He still uses the hospital to do most of his surgeries though, so I still see him some.
He's always been super chill and doesn't get caught up in the politics of small town hospital drama. They're good for each other too. Demi looks so happy and now they're expecting their first baby. My best friend is going to have a baby. I croak out a hello and get one of her bright signature laughs.
"You sound like shit, what happened?" Always a bright spot in my day. The corners of my lips start to rise in a smile just from talking to her.
"Gee, thanks Demi. I'm so glad you called and I picked up. One of my better decisions really."
"Wow, really bad day, huh? Want me to bring ice cream and have a marathon of movies that we totally don't cry over?" We totally cry over them but me and Demi aren't in to admitting that we might not be able to kick the world in the balls, so we lie and say it's because of allergies and other stupid shit excuses.
"Nah, it's alright. I just...you know Mason Pierce?" Demi is uncharacteristically quiet, but she says a little yeah, so I go on. "He came in today, to the hospital and..."
"What happened?"
"Demi, you know I can't tell you that. I'm probably not supposed to tell you he came in but I'm not employed by the hospital, my boss is, so fuck it. Don't interrupt; I'm going on my tirade." She gives me a little giggle and I continue on. "Anyway, Mason Pierce is a big fat jerk. He was rude to the doctor that treated him, he was rude to half the nurses, and he was a dick to me until he realized I had a pussy he hadn't hit yet. He hit on me! Can you believe it? I guess knowing that there is one pussy out there he hasn't been balls deep in was just too much for him, and he had to try to score, or he wouldn't be able to keep his sexed up rock star card or something. I don't know. I guess I'm just pissed because I thought he was...well it doesn't matter what I thought he was because clearly he isn't that."
I have to check the phone because Demi is so silent. I figure I would get at least an agreement about what a douche the guy was. She likes his music too.
"Um, Cora." She seems hesitant like maybe she doesn't want to tell me something. "Do you know why Mason chose to come to that particular hospital?"
That's a weird question. "I just assumed because it was close to the fight he got into."
"He got into another fight?" this is getting too weird. Demi isn't acting like a supportive friend, and she's acting suspiciously like she knows Mason on a deeper level than just a fan of his music.
"What aren't you telling me, Demi?"
She huffs out a sigh before she goes on, "Max is Mason's brother. He's my brother-in-law." Demi rushes through the explanation in typical Demi fashion. And I'm left stunned.
"No, that can't be right. Max isn't a Pierce his last name is Palmer." Take that, oh so delusional Demi.
"Mason took his mom's maiden name to keep some distance between him and his family." I still can't believe it.
"He wasn't at your wedding." Yet another fact that proves Demi is confused.
"He was on tour and couldn't make it home. He had a contract to fulfill." She sounds so sad about it that I know she's telling me the truth. I mean I remember they said Max's brother was working and couldn't make it but I thought he was another doctor like the rest of Max's family. I thought he was in Africa curing a communicable disease not shaking his ass on a stage in front of a shit ton of screaming fans.
"Why didn't you tell me?" I'm more than a little hurt. We weren't close to start with but I thought since Demi's sister tried to start shit and I helped to shut that shit down she would trust me more.
"It wasn't my secret to tell." And that's why everyone loves Demi. She's loyal one hundred percent of the time.
"I guess I can understand that. If I was in a situation where I didn't want something told I would totally love you for keeping my secret. But you better make it up to me, Preggers."
She giggles, "Tell me how and I will."
"Shit tons of ice cream. Like make a dent in Max's fat ass bank account kind of shit tons."
More laughter follows my request. "I'll be over in an hour. Start queuing up the movies."
***
Sometime around eleven we take a break so Demi can talk to Max before she goes to bed for the night. They're so cute I want to puke. I also crave it like the cookie dough ice cream I finished off two hours ago. I want someone to love me like that and want me to call them. I want someone to miss me. I want more cookie dough since I depressed myself again. My phone rings but I don't recognize the number, I'm about to ignore it when something makes me answer instead.
"Hey is this Cora." It's almost screamed into the phone and the background noise is so loud I can barely understand the voice.
"Who is this?" I think the person is maybe at a club or something.
"It's Mason Pierce." The den of the noise gets just a hair quieter like he found a spot that wasn't so crowded.
"How the hell did you get my number?" What the hell is he doing calling my phone? I look over to see Demi has hung up with Max and is very interested in my conversation with her dear brother-in-law.
"You know most women would kill for me to have their number."
"Then call one of them." I hang up on him. I can't believe that ass just compared me to every woman out there that wants to fuck him. I catch the look Demi is shooting me and understand somewhere deep down inside I do not want to talk about it. Not with her. Not now. Maybe not ever. "Wrong number."
I can tell she isn't buying my brand of crap by the mischievous gleam in her eye, but she lets it drop, and we go back to ou
r girl night. These are so rare for me and her that I'm not letting something like Mason Pierce take up another second of my time.
