The Weekend Surprise (The Cannon Brothers, #2) Page 8

by Jade, Ella

“I’m willing to go all the way.” She slipped her hand inside his boxers. “You have to help me get there.”

“Ahh... You seem to be doing fine all on your own.” He closed his eyes when she wrapped her fingers around his massive erection.

“This is good?” She moved her hand back and forth, feeling encouraged when he moaned and bucked his hips forward.

  “It’s real good.”

She settled onto her side, placed her head on his chest and glanced down, mesmerized by his beauty. She’d seen pictures of guys, but she’d never been up close and personal before. He twisted his fingers in her hair as she quickened her pace. His length was long, smooth, and much larger than she could have imagined. She pushed back the anxiety over that particular body part fitting inside her. It had to work, right?

“Umm, sweetheart... Maybe you should...” He tightened the grip on her hair before placing his other hand on top of hers. “You have to stop.”

“Why?” She looked up at him. “I want you to feel good.”

“I feel fuckin’ fantastic.” He halted her motion. “I’d be more than happy for you to finish what you started, but if you do then we’re going to need to take a break.”

  “Oh.”

She let his words sink in. As much as she wanted to bring him pleasure, she also wanted him to make love to her. There would be time for other things later, but right now she needed him to relieve the craving she had experienced all night. She needed him to fill her the only way he could. The only one she’d ever want in that way.

“I want to stop.” She moved her hand away from his. “I’m ready for us to—”

Before she could finish, Tyler stood and reached in the drawer of his nightstand. Her stomach fluttered with a bout of nerves when she saw the foil packet. This is really happening, she thought as he tore open the wrapper.

He pushed his pants and boxers down his hips, revealing his full glorious excitement to her. She sat up and watched as he sheathed himself in the thin latex. His form was rigid and defined. All of his hours in the gym had certainly paid off. She’d never seen such perfection.

“You can’t imagine how much I want this.” He leaned down and kissed her. “How much I need you.”

He propped the pillows behind her and guided her to lay back.

“This may not be my first time, but I promise you this is the first time I’ve savored the moment. The only time I’ve put this much thought into a sexual encounter.” He moved on top of her, stroking her cheek. “I know we’ve only known each other a short time, but I’ve cherished every moment we’ve spent together, and tonight is only the beginning.”

Any worry over what was about to happen had disappeared with his words. “I believe you.”

“Good.” He kissed her jaw, moving lower to her throat and then her breasts. “I’ll never hurt you.”

She lifted herself on her forearms when he slithered lower, never taking his lips away from her skin. What was he going to do? When he put the condom on she thought they were going to—

“Whoa,” she whispered when he spread her entrance with his fingers and darted the tip of his tongue out, running it along the inside of her slit. “I’ve never—”

“Shh,” he murmured. “Let me make this easier.”

  Easier? “Oh God!”

The heat of his breath caused her to quiver as he moved his tongue to her clit. His actions were tender and gentle as he brought her to the verge of madness one more time. He pushed his fingers in and out of her as his tongue teased and tortured her folds, concentrating on her lower lips, licking and sucking them until she could take no more. For the second time tonight, he had managed to slowly bring her to the brink, and in a matter of seconds she came crashing down, fast, hard, and mind-blowing. After experiencing three Tyler-centric orgasms, there was no doubt in her mind this man knew exactly and precisely what he was doing to her.

As she gripped the sheets beneath her, shuttering with a burning sensation, an anticipation that there was more to come, he sat up on his knees, never withdrawing his fingers from her. Still expertly playing her from within, he wrapped her legs around his waist, spreading her entrance as wide as he could.

“I’m going to be gentle. I can’t promise there won’t be some pain, but I’ll try to minimize it.”

He had to be the sweetest, sexiest man alive. No woman could be this lucky. Certainly not her.

“Take a deep breath, baby.” He pressed the tip of his cock inside her. “You’re so wet I should be able to...”

“Ahh.” She tightened her hold on the sheets, sucking in her breath and waiting for him.

With one swift thrust of his hips, he was buried deep inside her. There was no time for her to protest or reject his intrusion. It was done.

“Breathe, gorgeous. You have to breathe.”

She let out the breath she had been holding, opened her eyes, and stared into his. He smiled at her as he lifted her backside, pushing into her. He lowered himself onto her, being careful not to lose their connection. Once he was closer, she moved her hips in time with his slow motions. After a few minutes, the awkwardness pushed away and all she could focus on was the fullness his cock created inside her.

“You’re so tight,” he whispered into her ear. “It’s never felt this good before.”

Her nipples hardened under the heat of his chest as his skin grazed them. When she tightened her hold on his waist with her legs, he moaned her name. She reached up and touched his lips, swiping her thumb along his mouth.

“Kiss me,” she said. “I need you to kiss me.”

“Whatever you want.” He lowered his mouth to hers, kissing her with everything he had.

She nearly lost her breath when he increased the speed of his thrusts. Within seconds, his control spiraled into a free fall of lust. His kisses were harder as his hands moved over her breasts, squeezing them and tugging at her nipples.

“Baby, I can’t.” He spoke against her mouth. “I’m going to—”

A warm rush of fluid pulsed into the condom as he mumbled her name. He tangled his hand in her hair and held her face to his as he frantically moved his hips.

“Hell.” He let out a loud breath as he collapsed on top of her. “That was the best.”

  “Really?”

“Couldn’t you tell how much I liked it?” He took her face between his hands. “How much I enjoyed being with you?”

She nodded, not wanting to let her insecurities get in the way, but he was probably used to much more in a sexual partner.

“Trust me when I tell you that was a very different experience for me.”

  “I’m sure it was.”

  “Thank you.”

“Why are you thanking me?” she asked.

  “For trusting me with you.”

“In my dreams, it was never this perfect.” She kissed him. “You made everything right.”

“I told you, it’s only the beginning.” He stroked her cheek. “There’s so much more and I’m going to show you everything. I’ll give you anything you want.”

  “I want you.”

  “Done.”

TYLER ROLLED OVER AND stretched out his arm, reaching for Sammy. The room was dark, but he sensed she wasn’t in bed with him. He hadn’t been asleep long, but he had fallen into a deep slumber, relaxed and feeling better than he had in a long time.

When he glanced over at the clock, he made out her form, sitting on the chair by the bed. He propped himself up on his elbow and waited for his eyes to adjust to the dimly lit room. She gazed out the window, wearing his white dress shirt. Her knees were pulled into her chest and she looked deep in thought.

“Hey.” He reached out his hand for her. “Are you okay?” He’d do anything to make her comfortable.

“Hi.” She leaned forward and took his hand. “I’m perfect.”

“What are you doing out of bed?”

“I couldn’t sleep, and the view is spectacular from up here.” She motioned toward t
he window. “This really is the city that never sleeps. Look at all those cars and people out there in the middle of the night.”

“I’d rather look at you.” He abandoned her hand in favor of caressing her inner thighs. “Do you feel all right?” They’d talked before falling asleep, but he wanted to make sure she was good with what they had done. “I know it was a big decision. I don’t want you to have any regrets.”

“Regrets? I don’t feel any regret over sharing what we did.”

  “I’m a lucky man.”

“I never imagined I could feel this good.” She watched as he moved his hand higher, under the shirt to touch even more of her delicate skin.

“It gets better.” He grinned. “Now that we’re over the stigma of the first time.”

“As far as first times go, I’m guessing that was pretty awesome.” She smiled, and even in the dim room he could see her sparkle. “At least it was for me, but I had an attentive, experienced, and caring guy to get me through it.”

“Baby.” He brushed the back of his hand over her thigh. “It was really good for me too.”

She arched her back and closed her eyes when he stroked her.

“Come back to bed with me.”

She got up off the chair and made her way to him, but he held up his hand. “Let me rephrase.”

She stopped and crinkled her nose, indicating her confusion.

Adorable. “Come back to bed the way you left it.” He arched a brow and ran his gaze down her body. “You’re too formal.”

“Oh.” She giggled as she slipped his shirt from her shoulders, letting it fall to the floor before crawling in next to him. “What do you want to do now?”

“I can think of a few things.” He rolled on top of her, capturing her face between his hands. “Unless you’re too tired.”

“I think that’s why I couldn’t sleep.” She looked up at him with those wide, innocent eyes. “I didn’t want to wake you.”

“Rule number one, sweetheart.” He kissed her. “Never let me sleep when you want to have sex.”

  “I’ll keep that in mind.”

“It’s a very important rule.” He took her hands and held them above her head as he continued to kiss her long and slow. “One I’ll have to help you remember.”

  Chapter 8

“Shouldn’t we get dressed?” Sammy asked as she cuddled deeper into Tyler’s chest. She had no intention of moving. They had spent most of the rainy Saturday in bed, talking and getting to know one another.

“It’s a miserable day. I say we stay in, snuggle, and watch movies in bed.” He leaned against the headboard, appearing comfortable and very tempting. The sheet was draped across his lap, but the rest of him was on display. She was convinced she would never get bored of looking at him.

“You’re too good to be true.”

“That’s what I think about you.” He moved her up between his legs, her back pressing against his solid chest. “I’ll order us an early dinner. I didn’t let you sleep much last night. I can’t guarantee you’ll be sleeping much tonight either, so a low-key afternoon might be a good idea.”

“I’m happy I can keep up with such a pro.”

“Hmm...you inspire me.” He wrapped his arms around her waist. “If you’d rather go out, we can do that too. I want to be with you. I don’t care where we are.”

“I’m good staying here.” His home was spacious and relaxing. “This place is amazing. My whole flat could fit into your bedroom, and let’s not even get started on that tub. You could swim in there.”

“I’ll go for a swim with you.”

Taking a bath in his tub was something she looked forward to. She only had a shower at her place, and it was barely big enough for her to shave her legs in. Soaking in such a large tub with him was something fantasies were made of.

“The house you grew up in, was it big?”

  “Massive.”

“I grew up in a two-story row home. Our neighbors were in and out all the time, always asking my grandparents questions. They constantly needed to borrow sugar or an egg.” Ever since moving to the city, she missed the old block. Most of the residents were older, but she always felt like they watched out for her.

“Neighborhoods always intrigued me,” he said. “We grew up in a suburb in Connecticut. My mother still lives there. It’s in a gated community. Not many houses on our street. I didn’t move to the city until after college. I lived upstairs with Spencer, but when this place became available I took it.”

  “Do you like living alone?”

“I’m not really alone. Spencer and Coda are always popping in. I eat with them a few nights a week, especially when we need to meet a deadline.” He ran his thumb along Sammy’s hip bone, swirling over it as he spoke. “What about you? Do you like living alone?”

“Not really.” She missed her grandparents, but knew they were better off in Florida. “I didn’t have much of a choice.”

  “What happened?”

“A few years ago, my grandfather had to have surgery on his back and he was never the same physically. The winters were getting too hard for him here. My grandfather’s sister relocated to Florida about ten years ago and she loves it. They didn’t want to leave me, but I told them I’d be fine. They waited until my sophomore year to go. My grandmother wanted to make sure I was settled.”

  “Do you see them often?”

“Not as often as I’d like.” She longed to see them, but with school and work she couldn’t hop on a plane. It wasn’t like any of them had extra funds floating around either.

  “Why not?”

“Florida isn’t around the corner.” She shrugged. “They come home in December, and they’ll be here for my graduation next May.”

  “That’s in a year.”

“I’ll try to get to them around Thanksgiving, but we’ll see how my school schedule is.” Airfare was expensive. Her grandparents helped when they could, but she often split the fare with them. “I talk to them on the phone a few times a week. I know they’re happy.”

“You have a beautiful soul.” He moved his hand along her stomach. “When I was your age, I don’t think I could have been so rounded and together. I wasn’t.” He laughed. “I got into trouble on a regular basis.”

“We come from different places. My grandparents sacrificed so much to raise me. They didn’t have much. They were dealing with a daughter who couldn’t fight her addiction and they did the best they could for me. I’m an old soul. I liked hanging out with my grandparents and their friends.”

“It must have been difficult for you when they left. I can tell by the way you talk about them that you’re close.”

“I was settled in school, so it only made sense for them to go to Florida. I really miss them.”

“You have me now.” He moved his hand up and caressed her neck before guiding her head back so he could look into her eyes. “You don’t have to be alone anymore.”

“I never knew how alone I was until I met you.” She trailed her lips along his jaw. “How much I needed you.”

“I feel the same way.” As he kissed her, he snaked his hand down her stomach and between her legs. “Almost like I don’t deserve you.”

“Don’t say that, Tyler.” She turned in his arms to straddle him. “It’s the other way around.” How could she explain to him everything he meant to her? “I never expected you. I wasn’t looking for you, but you happened. I get so overwhelmed and I worry that I can’t be everything you need.”

“Hey.” He took her face between his hands like he always did. His touch sent calming vibes through her, making her feel warm and cared for. “How did this conversation turn so serious?”

“Last night and this morning were amazing. I didn’t know people could have these intense feelings.” The words coming out of her mouth made her sound silly. In her head, she knew what she wanted to say, but she wasn’t doing a very good job of expressing herself.

“I don’t know about other people, but I know
what you mean. I never expected you either. That’s a good thing. We’re on the same page.” He guided her to his lips, almost touching, but not quite. “Nothing I ever experienced before last night seemed real to me. Sex, relationships, women, you name it, everything was a game. My money and status provided me with whatever I needed. It wasn’t until last night that I realized none of it was what I wanted.” He kissed her slow, taking his time exploring her lips. “Until now. You’re everything I could ever want.”

Her breathing increased when he tangled his fingers in her hair and rolled her over so that he was on top. “I don’t want you to over think whatever this is. I want you to go with it. Put any doubts out of your head. Forget about what you think I deserve. What you think you can’t be.”

She nodded, knowing now there was no turning back. For the first time in her life, she had found a place. Her place. It was in the arms of the most caring man she’d ever met.

“I promise you are everything.” He kissed her neck and jaw, moving to her ear. “You’re mine. No one else can ever have you. Not the way I have you.”

“No one,” she whispered. “I don’t want anyone else.”

“Good, because I’ll lose my mind without you now.”

TYLER LOOKED UP FROM his computer screen when Sammy tapped on his office door. He glanced at the clock, noting it was a few minutes before noon.

“Hi.” She smiled. “I brought something for you.”

He took in her perfect form as she stood there holding a rectangular container. Her navy skirt stopped just above her knees, hugging her hips in a way that revealed her soft curves. Her white blouse was tucked neatly into the skirt and she’d left the first two buttons undone, teasing him with what he now knew was hidden under those clothes.

He hadn’t been able to concentrate all morning. She’d left his apartment late Sunday afternoon because she had to study for exams and rehearse her concert piece for an upcoming recital. He had protested her departure, but she reminded him he had two proposals to look over and an early morning meeting with a client. She may have been his grandfather’s assistant, but she was observant and knew Tyler’s schedule well.
