Jaxon - Bad Boys of New York Book #1 Page 29

by Mackenzy Fox

“Hands on the bed, stick that tooshie out, MJ.”

I turn my head and we kiss, his tongue slides into my mouth and we devour each other sensually, his five o’clock shadow bruising my lips.

  “Fuck,” he says, breaking free.

“Sure you don’t want me on my knees?” I tease.

“No time for that, James.” He grins and pecks me quickly, then I hear his zipper lower and he drops his jeans to his ankles. His hand moves around to my front and he parts me, running his hand through my slick flesh.

“Always so ready for me, babe.”

He rubs me back and forth, his other hand tweaks my nipple as I moan, leaning forward but pushing my ass out further. He dives a finger into me and I cry out. “Spread your legs wider for me.” His voice is husky with arousal.

“Jaxon,” I moan, complying, his finger moves in and out of me, his thumb brushes my sweet spot as he sets the pace. He never just dives in, as much as I want him to most of the time, he always makes sure I’m ready for him, and it doesn’t take long. He inserts another finger and moves it in and out with such a beautiful rhythm that, in no time at all, I come hard and fast as he picks up the pace, riding me through it and groans with me when I shout his name. The aftershocks shoot through me gloriously. I feel his dick pushing into my back and then he stops, pulls his fingers out, and lines me up, he pushes all the way into the hilt and I can tell he wants to get off hard and fast. I’ve teased him enough. He waits a few seconds then bends over me further and begins to move in and out of me slowly at first, then picks up the pace as my hands grip the duvet cover, he’s hitting me in all the right places, he knows my body now better than I do. His hands come down to my hips as he moves faster.

“I love it when you talk back,” he says, one hand moves to my hair and he grips it. “Love every single inch of you, MJ.”

  “Jax…” I moan. “Oh, Jax.”

  “Tell me, baby, tell me…”

“I love it…” I moan, this only makes him pump me harder, faster.

“What else do you love, MJ?” he coaxes, his breathing labored.

“Chocolate,” I breathe, knowing that’s not what he wants to hear.

He spanks my ass as I laugh into the duvet. “You turn me on so bad, you know that, I’m hard as a rock day and night, MJ, gonna come to your office tomorrow and fuck you on your desk, everyone’s gonna hear you, unless you tell me...”

“I love you, Jaxon,” I say because I know he won’t relent until I tell him and he loves it, he loves it when I tell him how much he means to me. “There’s only you.”

  “Yeah, babe?”

“Yeah, Jax. Oh God…” Another orgasm rips through me as I lose all sense of reality and ride the wave of pleasure.

“Morgan, ahhh, Morgan… fuck!” He slams with force then stills, coming hard as he holds my hips and groans the most delicious sounds a man could ever make. He then falls on top of me as I squeal.

  “Jax!”

He kisses my hair, pulls out, then rolls onto the bed next to me.

“Jesus, MJ, you and those little skirts.”

“We’re gonna screw ourselves to death,” I breathe.

“No other way I’d want to go.”

We lay there for a few moments catching our breaths.

“I hope you turned the mushrooms off,” I say after a moment.

He cocks an eyebrow at me as I marvel at him lying there, all hanging out, his jeans around his ankles, and I’m no better splayed out with my skirt up around my hips, face down as I look up at him.

“Is that all you’ve got to say to me?” He puts a hand on his heart like he’s insulted.

I giggle. “Well, that sauce did smell pretty good.”

“I’ll give you something to laugh about in a minute.” He leans over and we kiss again, slowly, passionately. When we’re like this, we’re untouchable. Nothing can stand in our way, and I wouldn’t want it to.

I want us to work, I know I have a long way to go but Jaxon is surprisingly patient with me and lets me be myself. We are polar opposites but so much the same.

“I certainly hope so,” I whisper, and I know that I’ll spend the rest of my life making sure that we never take it for granted, that we don’t lose what we have.

He was there all along, I just needed to smell the roses and see it, and like he says; live a little.

  My beautiful, wicked Mr. Westbrook.

Life is never dull with him around.

“I love you more,” Jaxon says, his breath still labored from our wild love-making.

And I know they’re the only words I’ll ever need to hear.

  Jaxon

It’s a funny thing the human brain. You’re a certain way for so long, going about your daily business, thinking life’s going great, then bam, one day, life does a whole three-sixty on your ass and you don’t know what hit you.

Since I met Morgan, she’s been my three-sixty and then some.

We’ve fallen head over heels for each other. Once all the barriers came down, life became so much sweeter. I gave up being her bodyguard and now just concentrate on my businesses, of course, I keep a weekly update with Leon on what’s going on with the team so I’m up to date, he made a full recovery and is back in the swing of things.

The guy who kidnapped Morgan was sentenced and is currently serving time, he gave names on one of the underground people-smuggling operations and that opened a can of worms, keeping the police busy for months. At least some good came out of it.

Brandon Thomas never reared his ugly head and Morgan has put it behind her. Yeah, it sucks that he won’t be prosecuted, but that’s her choice, at least he can live his life constantly looking over his shoulder and sleeping with one eye open. That’s how I’d prefer it anyway until she may one day change her mind.

John made a full recovery though he has slowed down at the office and only goes in part-time. Morgan has hired him a personal chef who only cooks him healthy food and he’s recently been on some raw food diet which he absolutely hates but it’s been the best thing for him. We get on like a house on fire and he’s given me his blessing. We go out this weekend to Boston to see my folks, they’re going to love Morgan, everybody does.

I look over at her as she frowns at her computer screen. I’m not supposed to be here, I had a business meeting in Connecticut as I’m negotiating a deal to open a restaurant there, and I wouldn’t mind us getting a place for the weekends, some place we can really be alone. At the moment, we spend weeknights at Morgan’s and weekends at mine. It’s like our little love pad, we’re so sickening, even our friends can’t be around us for very long.

I knock on the door and Morgan turns to look up. Her face beams as she spots me and I grin at her, opening the door.

“Jax! What are you doing here?” she says, leaping out of her chair to greet me. She rushes at me like it hasn’t been only twenty-four hours since I’ve seen her. She plants one on me and hugs her body into my chest, I reach down to hold her face in my hands and bring her back to me for more kisses.

“Miss me bad, huh?” I tease. “Should go away more often.”

It was one night, get a grip. I realize I have fallen like never before, I used to kick the girls out, now I can’t wait to come rushing back to her, to be near her any chance I get.

I look up and Jolie is passing by, she rolls her eyes as I smirk at her. Everyone’s used to us by now.

“I hate being away from you,” she moans. Oh yeah, she still has a little bit of inner brat but I’ve pretty much tamed the wild beast.

I kiss her again as she wraps her arms around my neck.

“The meeting went better than planned,” I say between kisses.

  “Yeah?”

“Umm-hmm.” I grab her ass and she shrieks.

“Jax!” She pulls back, looking around her to see if anyone saw. Nobody is looking. Nobody cares.

  She backs away from me.

  “Behave,” she warns.

  I smirk, walking t
oward her. I bypass her and go to the window to the switch that frosts over the glass to make it opaque, blotting out the reception from view, then I do the same to the doorway and the windows to the next office, concealing us in privately.

“That’s better,” I say, turning back to her.

“You’re smirking, and I know what that means,” she laughs, shaking her head.

“Remember that fantasy I had about you on your desk?”

She bites her bottom lip, laughing. “Jaxon, no!”

“That’s funny but I don’t recognize the words no and I don’t like the sound of it coming out of your mouth,” I state, calmly stalking towards her. “Besides, you can keep working, I’ll just sit under the desk and eat you out, nobody will know.”

She shakes her head, hands on her hips, and never in my life have I seen a woman as beautiful as her. She’s my whole world. She challenges me, pushes me, supports me, and best of all, she loves me. And I can’t get enough of it.

“Jaxon, you are the naughtiest of boys,” she whispers, pushing her glasses up her nose.

Fuck me if that doesn’t turn me on.

“You can keep those on too,” I tell her, moving closer. “I like being alone in here with you knowing the staff are outside within earshot, means we have to be quiet.”

She grins at me, shaking her head. “We are not doing it in my office!”

I lock the door and move over to her. “Technically, you’re not doing it, I am.”

She walks backwards and hits her legs against her desk, I waste no time picking her up and planting her ass on it, moving in between her legs.

“How did it go then?” she breathes, knowing that look in my eyes all too well.

“Stop trying to change the subject.” I reach around and let her hair out of her bun and it cascades down her back. “You’re so fucking beautiful, MJ.”

I lean in and we kiss, her arms go around my neck.

“You know the office is going to talk with you frosting the glass and locking the door.”

“Let them talk, they can’t see us,” I say, my tongue finds its way into her mouth. “I’ve missed you.”

“We’re hopeless,” she sighs. “You do know this?”

I nod, my mouth moving to her neck. “I don’t care,” I say, nipping at her pulse point.

I’m always hot for her but especially in public places or when we shouldn’t be doing anything, like now.

“But to answer your question, yes, the deal went well, I’m going to buy the restaurant, turn it into a fancy wine bar.”

She smiles into my neck. “I should charge you by the hour for my ideas.”

I nip her with my teeth. “I’m gonna do you on your desk like you’re paying me by the hour,” I growl.

She giggles. God, I’m so happy she has an appetite for sex that matches my own, I can’t get enough of her. To say I’ve taught her a thing or two would be an understatement but she’s taught me more than I could ever dream of. How to be a better man for one.

“You are the world’s naughtiest ex-bodyguard, D.B,” she sighs contentedly.

I pull back and look down at her. “So, I was thinking.”

  “Yeah? Did it hurt?”

I pinch her ass and she yelps. “I was thinking maybe we could get a place… Connecticut is really peaceful, babe, we could get something on the lake, out in the country, away from prying eyes.”

“That might be nice,” she says, her eyes twinkling as she stares at me. “Just for us, I like the sound of that.”

“Yeah, but in order to do that, we might have to get a fixer-upper.”

Okay, she has more money than me, but no way am I letting her pay for it. I still want to keep my balls intact, thank you very much.

“I’d move into a barn if it meant being with you.” She smiles, and I know she means it but I play along because I like to see her laugh.

“Sorry, princess, barn animals aren’t really my thing.”

She swats me on the arm then moves her hands down to cup my butt.

“I’d love to get something we can do up; we could spend weekends there picking out furniture and little knick-knacks.” Her eyes light up, her favorite thing to do—shop.

“Something we can do up means we’re knocking in walls, ripping up old carpet, and painting,” I correct her. “Not shopping at pottery barn.”

She shakes her head. “You have to spoil all my fun every time, don’t you?”

“I forget how you uptown girls don’t like to get your hands dirty,” I say, pulling at her pouty bottom lip with my teeth.

“Hey! I do like to get my hands dirty,” she protests.

I kiss her again. “I’m not talking about the bedroom, angel.” She tries to swat me once more, but I hold her wrists and move closer.

“You want this?” I ask seriously, pressing our foreheads together. “For us to get our own place where we can just be us? Get the city grit out of our hair?”

She kisses me gently. “I want everything with you, D.B.”

“Even when I’m old and grey?”

“Woah, let’s not push it,” she laughs, then pretends to be serious. “I could always trade you in when you get too old and grey?” She breaks out laughing again.

I bump her with my hips. “Very funny. You’re not getting rid of me that easy.”

God, we’re so sickening but I can’t help it.

“Will we always be like this?” Her eyes look to me with uncertainty and I wish I could make that disappear, time will tell, it always does.

“On your desk?” I say as she shakes her head at me in exasperation. “I certainly hope so, the couch could work too?”

She slaps me again; she seems to enjoy hurting me. “You know what I mean.”

I smile gently down at her. “As long as we communicate and don’t keep things from one another, then I have high hopes for us yet, MJ.”

She smiles back. “You’re so annoying.”

“You don’t seem to think I’m so annoying when I’m giving you multiple orgasms,” I remind her.

“That’s because you do it so well.”

“Good to know I’m good for something,” I muse, secretly looking forward to hunting for a place to spend time alone with her.

“Then I’ll spend my weekends knocking in walls, ripping up carpet, and painting with you,” she says, her smile contagious.

  “You’d look cute in overalls.”

“You’d look cute in nothing at all.”

I go to pull at my tie… yeah, I’m still wearing it, I didn’t even go home to get changed after getting back. “That can be arranged.”

She pulls me back in by my collar, bossy little thing. “It’s gonna be a wild ride, Jaxon, but I’m up for it. As long as you’re with me, I know I can do anything.”

I pull her to me and kiss her forehead. “It’s always been you, babe, even when you drove me crazy.”

“You drove me crazy!” she exclaims as I make faces at her.

“Someone had to help pull that giant stick out of your ass, may as well have been me.”

“You’ve such a way with words, Jax,” she says, but I’ve heard it all before.

“You love it,” I say, we kiss again. “So.” I hold my tie out. “You thinking what I’m thinking?” I give her a cheeky wink.

“I was actually thinking about a hot cup of tea.” She has the gall to laugh.

“You drive a hard bargain, MJ.”

“I love you,” she says suddenly, looking up at me with eyes I can’t get enough of.

“Not as much as I love you, now stop distracting me, I’m trying to get naked here.” I pull at my tie and she laughs out loud as I fling it off and it lands somewhere behind me.

I love her laugh, it’s true. I’m a better man because of her, hearing her laughter and seeing her smile makes me feel like I can do anything, be anything, and I want to, for her.

  Finally, I know I’m home.

  The End

Wow it’s been one roller coaster of a ride ending 2020!

Fun fact: I wrote the intro to Jaxon about six years ago! During lockdown in March of 2020 I was looking through my flash drive at some of the half-written/not finished/just started work (I’m a serial stop starter!) and opened up the file, it was literally one page.

I started writing that very same day and six weeks later Jaxon was finished. Now -I’ve never written a book that fast, no siree, Steel (my M.C. romance book #1 Bracken Ridge Rebels) took a loooong time between writing and edits and what not, and I’m easily distracted!

There was something about Jaxon that had me compelled, he and Morgan were a dream to write, I literally couldn’t stop and the story took on a life of its own. I’ve always been fascinated with the enemies to lovers trope, and I’ve always wanted to write about a bad ass bodyguard and a bit of a snotty heroine!

Next up will be book #2 Chase’s story so stay tuned in 2021 for some exciting updates!

Thank you to all the kind people who have shared my posts on IG and FB, bought my books, my ARC readers, bloggers and fellow indie authors – this gig ain’t always easy but boy it’s so much fun!

Thank you to Savannah my PA for keeping me organized.

Thank you to my sister Kiki for being a shoulder to cry on, my BETA reader, proof-reader and everything in between.

Please take a few moments to leave an Amazon and Goodreads review if you enjoyed Jaxon, this helps me promote my work and helps spread the word, your support means the world to me!

I’m excited for 2021 and all it’ll bring. Thanks my friends!

All my love xx MF xx
