In his search for power, Hades gathered international rich partners. Nothing is known about them except that they come from all over the world (United States, United Kingdom, Germany, Middle East, South America…), they’re powerful enough to have political opponents, and well, they’re loaded.
Hades’ partnership with his international folks allowed him to start The Pit.
Catch that name because it’s fairly important.
On the papers, The Pit is a legitimate arms’ factory located on one of the private islands near the UK. In reality, The Pit is an assassination organisation and Hades’ life project.
He found a genius doctor who wants to escape the shackles of the scientific board so he can produce his drug. Hades caught the chance and offered said doctor, Dominic Johnson, an offer he can’t refuse; complete scientific freedom and financing.
After a few failed attempts, Dominic Johnson came out with a Type Omega drug. It enhances human senses like hearing and speed. However, it wasn’t stable enough and had countless side effects.
Hades was so bend on building his army of assassins so he had his hired mercenaries abduct and kidnap 50 children. All kids’ age range from around 8 to 14. They were all either street urchins, runaways or abandoned children. The type no one actually pays attention to their disappearance.
Those fifty children formed Team Zero. It’s the first assassination unit of The Pit and Hades’ prized army. Unfortunately for him, Omega’s side effects were too much for most of the children. More than thirty five died in the early stages due to dehydration or losing their sanity.
The fifteen or so who remained became the true members of Team Zero. The members revealed so far are Crow, Ghost, Shadow, Mist, Flame, Scar, Hawk, and Storm.
They went through extensive training and Omega addiction since they were children and were moulded into merciless killers. The only purpose behind their existence is to be Hades’ army. They kill his partners’ opponents for them and do whatever it takes to have their next Omega fix.
The drugs’ effects differ from one Zero to the other. When injected, some have their memories wiped clean while others became robots. The one thing all Team Zero members share is that the initial doses of Omega erased most of their past memories before being kidnapped into The Pit.
For most of their lives, Team Zero members were mindless killers only focused on getting the job done and having their Omega.
Up until one of them died when all of them were old.
Hades’ and everyone in The Pit made them believe that if they escaped Omega’s early side effects then they’re safe. However, Diablo dropped dead with no reason. Upon investigation, the rest of the Zeroes found out the reason behind Diablo’s death was a stage five cancer. Only, unlike cancer, it had no symptoms. Omega was eating him alive from the inside all this time.
Some zeroes, namely Crow, Ghost, Mist, Shadow, Scar, and Flame decided to detox from Omega and then escape Hades.
The only problem is that the rest of the Team are held as hostages by Hades until they finish doing a job for one of his partners.
Many of Team Zero’s members embark into a mafia world in London’s slums where drugs and knifing are an everyday occurrence.
Some Zeroes have disciples who are part of the second generation. After the apparent failure of Omega, Hades ditched it and opted to train assassins the old-fashioned way. Kidnap kids and make his best guards and Team Zero brainwash them into becoming loyal to him.
Many of those second generation assassins followed their trainers, the Zeroes, and became their disciples. On strength level, they don’t compare to the Zeroes since the latters are enhanced with Omega.
Some of the second generation disciples mentioned so far are: Kyle, Celeste, Aaron, Tristan, and Dylan. Most of them are Ghost’s disciples.

Between Team Zero members, the second generation, Hades/his mystery partners, there are a lot of twist and turns, antics, violence, angst, scorching steamy encounters, but most of all, it’s full of romance and broken souls finding each other.

Team Zero and Their Significant Others (As of the third book):
Dominic Johnson: Godfather of Omega drug and the co-founder of Team Zero. He’s the mastermind behind Omega’s drug. Camille’s husband and Eloise’s father.
Camille Johnson: half-French, half-Arabic. A defence lawyer. Dominic’s wife and Eloise’s mother.
Crow: Founding member of The Pit and Team Zero. His given name is unknown. All he remembers from his childhood is that he used to live in the slums with an English father and a Russian mother. Eloise’s husband, Cosette and Christopher’s father.
Eloise Dubois: half-French, half-English. A nurse. Dominic and Camille’s daughter. Crow’s wife and the mother of Cosette and Christopher.
Ghost: Founding member of The Pit and non-official leader of Team Zero. His given name is Julian. All he remembers from his childhood is being abandoned by his mother at an amusement park. Emmanuelle’s husband. Jason, Jared, and Jaden’s father.
Emmanuelle Jones aka Elle: Underground fighting champion. Ghost’s wife. The mother of Jason, Jared, and Jaden.
Shadow: Founding member of The Pit and Team Zero. An underground fighting champion.
Mist: Founding member of The Pit and Team Zero. The madam of Le Salon; entertainment club and façade of the mafia business.
Flame: Founding member of The Pit and Team Zero.
Scar: Founding member of The Pit and Team Zero. Escort.
Hawk: Founding member of The Pit and Team Zero. Ace sniper.
Storm: Founding member of The Pit and Team Zero.

Celeste: One of the most cunning second generation members. Crow’s & Ghost’s disciple.
