“God, yes,” she groaned. “Fuck me hard, please.”

I wasn’t one to disappoint, so I grabbed her hips and thrust in and out, going harder and harder each time until I felt her body tensing around me once more.

“Don’t stop!” she commanded, so I continued to push in and out as deep and hard as her pussy would let me.

Finally I felt her body tighten around me, and her pussy spasmed on my cock.

“Fuck yeah,” I groaned as she came on my dick.

“Wait,” she said, and she pulled away from me, then she grabbed me by my shirt and moved me to the passenger’s seat. “Sit.”

  “Yes ma’am,” I said with a grin.

The redhead slipped off her pants, then she straddled me and took me inside inch by inch, squeezing me with her pussy each time she dropped down further on my cock.

“Holy fuck,” I moaned. “Where did you learn to do that?”

“Kegels,” she said with a wicked grin.

Anna thrust down hard and took the last half of my cock inside her easily, then she moved against me slowly at first, but with increasing speed.

I let her ride me hard for a while, but I was coming close, and I couldn’t stand it any longer, so I grabbed her by the hips and bounced her up and down on my dick quicker.

  “Fuck,” I moaned.

“Come for me,” she whispered. “Come inside me.”

“Yesss.” I pumped once more, then held her in place while my climax took me. My cock twitched deep inside her, and I felt her pussy spasm around me while I filled her up with my cum.

“Fuck yes,” she moaned, and she ground against me once more and bit her lip as she milked that last few sprays of seed from my cock.

“Jesus,” I gasped, and I pushed my damp hair out of my face.

“Fuck,” Anna said with wide eyes. “We need to get back to the others.”

“You’re right,” I said, and I lifted her off of me.

We both got dressed quickly, and I started the truck and headed back toward the school.

“I know we are in a rush,” the redhead said with a grin. “But I just wanted to say that was fucking awesome.”

“I’m glad you thought so,” I chuckled. “Sorry we couldn’t stick around to cuddle.”

“Eh,” she said with a shrug. “I’m not too disappointed.”

“Next time,” I said with a grin. “I promise.”

“Deal,” she said, and she grinned back at me.

I pulled up to the school and parked the truck next to the others, then I hopped out into the rain and headed toward the gym.

“Tav!” Paige said as we walked in.

“How’s things going here?” I asked, but I looked around the brunette to see Marla leaning over Frank, sobbing.

“Not good,” Paige said, and she bit her lip. “Frank is severely dehydrated. I’m not sure what to do.”

“Did Marla give any indication of what he needs?” I asked.

“Yeah,” Anna said with a nod. “We have a lot of medicine here.”

“We do,” the brunette replied. “But he’s not going to keep any of it down. What he really needs is a saline drip to get him hydrated again.”

“Wait, like an IV?” Anna asked, and her red brows pulled together.

“Exactly,” Paige said with a nod.

“We don’t have any IV fluid?” I asked.

“No,” she said with a shake of her head. “We raided a lot of pharmacies, but most pharmacies don’t carry IV bags.”

“I’m guessing only hospitals do,” I said, and I pursed my lips.

“Right,” the brunette said, and she bit her lip.

“Won’t all the hospitals have been raided by now?” Anna asked with concern.

“Probably,” I said with a nod. “But there’s a chance that IV bags would be left. Most people wouldn’t think to take them.”

“Fuck,” the redhead breathed. “What do we do?”

“We have to go get the fluid,” I said with determination.

“What about the guard?” Anna asked. “They could be coming through here any minute.”

“You’re right,” I said with a nod, then I turned to Paige. “How soon does he need it?”

“Yesterday,” she sighed with a frown. “I wish he could wait, but it’s already been a couple days since he’s been dehydrated. He could die without fluid.”

“Die?” Anna asked with wide eyes. “Seriously? From being dehydrated?”

“Yeah,” Paige said with a sad nod. “And he’s so young, I don’t know for sure what the time frame for him is. But even for adults, you can die within a few days if you’re really bad off.”

  “Fuck,” Anna said again.

“Paige,” I said. “You and Tara will come with me. We’ll find a hospital to raid.”

“Tav,” Anna said seriously. “If the guard shows up, I don’t know if we can do this without you.”

“You can,” I told her, and I put a hand on her shoulder. “You’ll be great. Remember your training. You and Rolly are in charge.”

“Okay,” the redhead said, but she bit her lip.

“Go get Tara,” I told Paige.

  “On it,” she said.

“I’m going to talk to Marla for a minute,” I said, and I looked over to where she was still weeping over Frank. “Where’s Mitch?”

“He’s with Justin,” Paige said. “He didn’t think he should be in here.”

“Okay,” I said with a nod. “Go get Tara. Anna, let everyone else know what’s going on.”

“Okay,” the redhead said, and she and Paige both headed outside.

I watched as they walked outside, and the sound of the rain filled the room for a moment before it was drowned out with the closing door.

“Hey,” I said softly as I walked up to Marla.

“There’s nothing I can do,” she cried and she pushed her son’s hair back from his face.

“We’re going to get the IV fluid,” I said. “Is there anything else that you need?”

“Um,” she said, and she wiped her tears away and took a deep breath. “We’ll need the catheter and needles.”

“Okay,” I said calmly. “Anything else?”

“I-I don’t think so,” she stammered and she looked back down at Frank, and I saw her nose crinkle once more as her eyes filled with tears.

“He will be okay,” I told her softly.

“You can’t know that,” she said, and I knew she was right.

“I know,” I said, and I closed my eyes. “But I believe he will be, and I need you to believe that too.”

“He’s so young,” she breathed, and she turned to look at me.

“He is,” I said with a nod. “But that can be a good thing.”

“How?” she asked with a sniffle.

“Kids are pretty durable, right?” I said with a small smile.

“I guess that’s true,” she said as she wiped away another tear.

“He’ll bounce back from this,” I said. “But you’re the one who can help him once we have the IV, so I need you to stay calm.”

“Alright,” the dark haired woman said with a soft smile.

“When was the last time you ate?” I asked seriously.

“I can’t remember,” she said, and she shook her head. “But I’m not hungry.”

“You need to eat,” I told her. “And drink some water too.”

“I know you’re right,” she sighed. “But I can’t focus on myself right now.”

“You have to,” I said gently. “You will need your strength to be able to take care of him.”

“You’re right,” she said, and she closed her eyes. “I know you’re right, I just…”

Her voice trailed off, and she took a deep breath. I looked at her face, the worryline on her forehead, and the bags under her eyes led me to believe she hadn’t slept in days. Her hair was a mess, and she was wearing the same clothes she had worn for our Thanksgiving dinner. Marla was typically well put together,
she had well behaved kids, and as little as I knew her, I had always known her to be calm and collected. I had never seen her this way, and I grew panicked as I thought about what would happen if we couldn’t save little Frank. I pushed the thought out of my mind. This boy wouldn’t die on my watch.

“Why don’t you let Justin and Mitch come stay with him for a while?” I asked.

“I don’t know,” she said warily. “I need to be here in case he needs something.”

“Justin can take care of him,” I said with a soft smile. “I think a break to eat some food and get some water would be good for you.”

“I’d prefer coffee,” she said with a slight smile.

“I’m sure Rolly can manage that,” I chuckled lightly.

“I don’t think I can,” she said, and she shook her head. “He’s my little boy.”

“We’re going to get him better,” I told her with a smile. “But you need to focus on yourself too so you’re ready when we get back.”

“Alright,” she said with a sigh. “But only for an hour.”

“Okay,” I agreed with a soft smile. “Pick out something good to eat. I’ll go get Justin.”

“Tav,” Marla said after I stood up and took a few steps.

“Yes?” I asked as I turned around to look at her.

  “Thank you,” she said sincerely.

“Don’t thank me,” I said with a smile, then I pointed to the supplies. “Now pick out some food.”

“Yes, sir,” she said, and I almost got a laugh out of her.

I made my way outside into the rain and ran over to the dorm building.

“We were just on our way out,” Paige said when she saw me come in.

She and Tara were ready to go, they had on their vests, backpacks, boots, and weapons.

“Give me a moment,” I said. “I need to talk to Justin.”

“Okay,” Paige said with a nod. “We’ll make sure the truck has gas.”

“Good thinking,” I said with a smile.

“I saw Justin upstairs,” Tara said, and she pointed toward the ceiling. “On the second floor.”

  “Thanks,” I said. “I won’t take long.”

“We’ll be ready,” the platinum blonde said, and she and Paige headed outside.

I made my way up the stairs and I found Justin and Mitch sitting with Kimmy and baby Anthony.

  “Hey,” I said softly.

“Hey,” Justin said, and he looked up with surprise. “Is everything okay?”

“Everything is fine,” I said with a nod, and I put a hand up to try to calm him. “Paige, Tara, and I are going to go find an IV for Frank.”

“Okay,” he said with wide eyes. “Thank you.”

“I told Marla she needed a break,” I said.

“Good,” he sighed. “I don’t know how long it’s been since she slept or ate.”

“She only agreed to an hour,” I told him with a smile. “But we might be able to get more than that if she eats something and sits down.”

“Alright,” Justin said, and he stood up. “Whatever I need to do.”

“I had her grab some food,” I said. “I need you and Mitch to go keep watch over Frank.”

“I don’t know if I want Mitch to see his brother like that,” the black haired man whispered, and I looked over to where Mitch sat sadly playing with an old toy.

“I understand,” I said with a nod. “But I think it might do both of them some good.”

“Alright,” he said with a frown.

“I don’t mean to eavesdrop,” Kimmy said softly. “But I can watch Mitch if his father is not comfortable with him coming.”

“That would be very helpful,” I said with a smile.

“Thank you,” Justin said, and he reached his hand out. “I’m sorry I didn’t introduce myself earlier.”

“It’s okay,” Kimmy said, and she repositioned Anthony so she could shake his hand. “You seem to have a lot going on.”

“How about if you show Kimmy to the gym with you and Mitch,” I said. “And she can grab some snacks for the two of them, then bring him back over here.”

“That would be alright,” Justin said with a nod. “It would probably make him feel better to be able to see his brother.”

“Alright,” I said with a soft smile, then I turned to Kimmy. “Is that okay with you?”

“Of course,” she said, and she stood up.

Kimmy and Mitch headed downstairs, but I grabbed Justin by the arm to stop him for a moment.

“Everything is going to be okay,” I told him.

“Thanks,” he said with a small smile.

“We’re going to get through this,” I said. “Be strong for Marla and the boys.”

“I will,” he said, and he took a shaky breath.

I let him go, then I headed into my old dorm room. My weapons and vest were still in the truck from our trip to the mountain, so I threw on some dry clothes, and made my way back downstairs.

I opened the door and ran over to the truck where Tara and Paige already sat in the cab.

“Hurry!” Tara said, and she opened the door for me, so I could hop in easily.

“Thanks,” I said, and I slammed the door. The shoulders of my shirt were already soaked from the rain, and I felt a shiver run through me.

“Where are we headed?” Tara asked as I started the truck.

It had grown dark outside with the short fall days, and I turned the headlights on in the truck, along with the windshield wipers.

“There’s a small hospital a couple towns over,” Paige said.

“How have we not been there before?” Tara asked with a raised brow.

“It’s past where the bikers were,” Paige explained. “And the closest hospital besides that is in Burlington.”

“We should have hit that place up when we were there,” Tara said, and she pursed her lips.

“I don’t think any of us thought about IVs,” I said, and I turned onto the main road.

“True,” the platinum blonde contended. “Isn’t that stuff just, like, salt water? Can’t we just give him salt water?”

“It’s a crystalloid fluid,” Paige said. “So it kind of matches the same ratio as what is already in your blood.”

“Besides,” I said. “If someone can’t eat or drink without throwing it up, then there’s no sense in trying to force them to drink water.”

“Right,” Paige said with a nod. “You have to put it in through an IV.”

“I only understood about half of that,” Tara said with a shrug. “But the important thing is that we’re going to save Frank.”

“Right,” I said with a smile.

“Poor Marla,” Tara said with a frown. “She looked like shit when I saw her.”

  “Tara!” Paige scoffed.

“Well, it’s true,” the platinum blonde said defensively.

“You’re not wrong,” I chuckled. “Stress can definitely affect someone’s overall appearance.”

“What were you talking to Justin about?” Paige asked.

“I got Marla to agree to let him watch Frank for a while,” I said.

“Wow,” Paige said with wide eyes. “I tried to convince her to take a break at one point, and she about bit my head off.”

“Don’t take it too personal,” I told the brunette.

“Oh, I wouldn’t,” she said with a wave of her hand. “I know she’s really upset.”

“It’s good that you convinced her to take a break,” Tara said happily.

“I thought so too,” I said with a smile.

“Besides,” Paige sighed. “We’ll need her to help with the IV when we get back, and she can’t do that if she’s exhausted.”

“How hard can it be?” Tara asked. “You have a needle, someone has a vein, you stick the needle in the vein. Boom, done.”

“It’s not quite that simple,” I chuckled.

“Seems like it is,” the platinum blonde said with a shrug.

  “You can do serious
damage if you fuck it up,” Paige said dryly.

“You can do damage if you fuck up almost anything,” Tara said. “All I’m saying is that I’m pretty sure if I had to give someone an IV I could do it.”

“Luckily we have Marla,” I laughed. “So we won’t need to put that theory to the test for a while.”

We drove on in silence for a while, with Paige giving directions from time to time. The dark highway was lit up with the yellow of our headlights, and the rain came down in hard, fast drops that splattered against our windshield with an audible patter.

“This rain is fucking crazy,” Paige said after a bit.

“I feel like we’re in one of Anna’s horror movies,” Tara said with a nod.

“You think the rain is creepy now?” I asked with a raised brow.

“Well not the rain by itself,” the platinum blonde said.

“But we are on a road in the middle of the night all alone,” Paige said with a nod. “It’s a bit eerie.”

“She gets it,” Tara said, and she gestured to Paige.

“I’m glad someone here understands you,” I chuckled.

“I feel bad for Kimmy,” Paige said quietly.

“Why?” Tara asked, and her eyebrows pinched together. “She’s safe at campus.”

“Yeah, I know,” Paige sighed. “But we brought her back the day that everything went crazy.”

“She’ll be okay,” I said with a smile. “She even offered to watch Mitch while Justin looked after Frank.”

“That’s good,” the brunette said with a smile.

“We’ve had more crazy days than not lately,” Tara chuckled. “The odds of her arriving on a crazy one were pretty high.”

“I guess that’s true,” Paige laughed.

“And even with the craziness we’re still better equipped to care for her and Anthony,” I said with a smile.

“Yeah,” Paige said with a nod. “I hope this craziness all ends soon.”

“Hey,” Tara said, and she put her hand on Paige’s shoulder. “You can either deny the craziness or harness it.”

“I think that’s the wisest thing you’ve ever said,” Paige laughed.

“Whatev,” Tara chuckled. “I’m, like, so wise it’s not even funny. You guys just don’t ever listen to me.”

“Alright, alright,” Paige said with a smile. “You’re very wise.”
